We all know that what you eat when you’re pregnant affects the growth and development of your foetus and pregnant women should avoid certain foods like raw meat/fish, fish with high levels of mercury (like tuna and mackerel), smoked seafood, raw shellfish, soft cheeses, unpasteurized milk, raw eggs, alcohol and excessive amounts of caffeine.
