Jesus commanded his followers to “do this in memory of me” while referring to the bread as “my body” and the wine as “my blood” _
Thus the body, mind and soul unites with Christ through the means of the Holy Communion.
The sweetheart dressed in white is ready to welcome her union with Christ, and thus the Holy Communion is a riteful passage for becoming one with the Heavenly Father’s Son.
To witness and behold the beautiful process all her loved ones and family gather.
It is like a mini fiesta with a lot of fun and lot of love and laughter. With cameras clicking away the pretty little woman all dressed in white, she flashes a smile that is filled with innocence and joy. All those around her celebrate the moment. In the background, with choir singing and the pastor praying ..the beautiful words of Jesus to his followers were recited and hence the communion was complete, and it was an honour and privilege for Team Zero Gravity Photography to cover such an intimate and heartwarming moment.
This here is the list of ZG’s best Couple Portraits of 2018, where we have showcased our services of couple portraits photography, wedding couple photography.
What is that small element about couples that make them the center of attention in a wedding?
Is it the fact that two families are uniting or is it that chemistry, those sparks that ignite between them that makes us want to look at them even more?
It’s all that and more… starting right from those little shy glances to their ensemble to their quirky and impromptu poses and we here at Team ZG have had the privilege to capture those loving moments they share, those warm embraces or the spur of the moment kisses and to frame them in ways that show the world the love they share.
This is our pick of the top 15 couple portraits from our collection and believe us every picture has its very own story and every couple are a superstar in their very own movie and we did our part to capture their uniqueness in the best way possible.
Father’s are a symbol of strength someone you can count on. They are the people working behind the scenes to provide for the family, to catch you when you fall. They may not be strong with their words or the way they emote.. but they love us nonetheless.
They are the ones holding onto your cycle tightly afraid you will fall, they are the ones spending sleepless nights once you go of to college or get married. A father need not necessarily be a man, it could also be a single mother who brings her child up and teaches them right from wrong. A father is a symbol of love.. a kind of love that’s hard to describe, they are their daughter’s first love and their son’s first role model.. and for all the love they shower upon us and the guidance they provide us, we are immensely grateful.
*To all the father’s out there, Team ZG wishes you a Happy Father’s Day!*

Our story began when our parents suggested that we would make a good pair. We started having conversations over the phone and well it turned out we have traits that we always wanted our better halves to have.
“The phone calls lasted for more than hour on the first day and over the next few weeks...it turned out that we had spoken for more than 48 hours”
Our first video call..
We skyped each other for the very first time and somehow everything fell into place...
We couldn’t stay without seeing each other... we made up reasons and excuses to video call...
“Hey, I just skyped to show you my new shirt... how is it?”... He said
We finally decided it was time we met
We met at a half-way point in Denver because he was from California and I was from Indiana
He had asked me what kind of cuisine i liked and i told him and i couldn’t believe that he actually went through the trouble to find out the best possible restaurant and take me there.
When the day was coming to an end, he asked me the question..
And I didn’t wait or hesitate even for a second I said yes!
The unexpected trip.
Weeks before we got engaged he told me he had to take a trip to Antarctica.. I knew he had to do it for himself.
We had to plan our entire engagement via emails since there was no option to make phone calls and the emails had a time lag of 6 minutes between each mail and reply. Somehow this trip made us realise how much in love we were with each other and everything worked out well and we planned our engagement.
We had an outdoor shoot before our wedding in Chicago. The weather was freezing, our photographer took time to show us how to pose because we were complete novices at it. He patiently explained the different gestures and even though it was freezing outside and we had to take time off in between to warm ourselves in the car..the shoot turned out to be beautiful and one experience we will never forget.
We finally flew down to India for our wedding, we didn’t have any pre-wedding jitters we were at peace mentally and excited to start our new life together. The day before our wedding was Holi we got a chance to celebrate it together and he met all my friends..
The day of our wedding we decided to keep it old school and follow the customs. The bride and the groom were not allowed to see each other before they finally ties the knot. We made sure there were no sneak peeks or texting.. The anticipation and excitement made us relish the moment even more.
Being a mother is not a 9-5 job..it is not a qualification behind your name…being a mother means you have a life you are responsible for..to nurture and care for. A mother is a person who is our solace… who is our problem solver .. She is a person who makes a house a home, she is the person who makes anything bland taste amazing by adding in a secret ingredient called love.
In life we come across a lot of people, a person regardless of his or her size, shape, attitude is always given unconditional love by their mother. She doesn’t care about your bank balance, she might even go the extra mile to provide for you when you can’t. She doesn’t care how old you are, she is always going to ask if you ate enough, if you are feeling fine or not.
Mothers are extraordinary creatures, whether it be in the human species or another specie.. She always cares and nurtures her young one till she feels they are ready to survive on their own. A mother is god’s gift to humanity and all other living things for without her we cannot be who we are today,
She maybe a single parent working all day just to keep you happy, she maybe a home maker who greets you when you come home, she maybe out there in heaven looking out for you guiding you without you realising it.. Mothers are ever present in our lives regardless where we are.. Her thoughts and love for us is always, she is like a beacon of light guiding us in the right direction..
Regardless of the squabbles and the fights, mothers still love us unconditionally..that’s why they say Matha,Pitha,Guru,Deivam ( Mother,Father,Teacher and God).. Mothers are always on top and they deserve it.
So to make this year even more memorable than the last, the Zero Gravity Team decided to make a special blog just for all the mothers out there..we love your hugs,we love how you tuck us in at night, we love your smile..we think you are the most beautiful people alive. To all the mothers all over the globe, we wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day!
”I was from a normal Telugu family and until I met him I didn’t know what love was.So let me tell you a bit about my story..”
After my 12th grade I joined SA Engineering College, I was an introvert so I didn’t socialise much. During one of our sports meet I met him. It wasn’t that love at first sight kind of a story for us. He was a charming boy from a Tam- Brahm family, he made me feel comfortable and we became good friends.
After a while he popped the question, no I am not talking about marriage we were to young for that, he asked me if I would be his girl. I didn’t say yes nor did I freak out and say no going into a shell of my own.. I told him I would think about it. I gave it a lot of thought and it just seemed right, so I told him yes. Now we were in the time where phone calls weren’t free but we still had phones. We had moments and dates, cutting classes at times or just hanging out, talking or walking in a park. We were shy and I still remember the nights I hid under the blanket talking to him over the phone in hushed tones..
I still have an ID even after all these years. 8years went by from the day he asked me to be his and we both had jobs now, we decided it was finally the right time. He didn’t go on one knee and do anything fancy to propose marriage to me, because we knew from the moment we started dating that we were meant to be together.
Convincing his side was easy but mine faced a little turbulence, but we stayed strong and never broke down because we believed in our love.
The day we finally got married is the day I vow to remember all my life. He makes me feel complete in every possible way, he is my happiness and my voice at times. Yes we fight a lot but we reconcile and make up for all those fights. He is the only man who stole my heart and has kept it safe over all these years.
I am happy our paths crossed and fate had it written for us, because now without him I can’t imagine such a perfect life. He is my destiny..
I reached New Zealand after our marriage three weeks later.. It’s cold here but he is here by my side and that all the war than and protection I need in this weather. He helps me cook and pampers me when I need it.. Our love I stronger now and I can’t wait to see the chapters we are yet to write together in our life.
She was a bride from the land of art, textile and temples. She didn’t know when she met him that she would love him and they would become inseparable. He didn’t know she would be the woman with whom he would spend this lifetime with ; growing old together and drinking coffee watching the sunrise.
It wasn’t love at first sight, it wasn’t the typical I met him or I met her and everything fell into place. This is a tale of two people who took life in their own hands, who took it one step at a time, they were realistic and well they struck a chord in each other’s hearts. They don’t have the same likes, they are different people.. But they finally fell in love.. They fell in love with their differences and flaws. They wanted to do things the Karaikudi way, go all out the Chettiyar way. The idea of doing this a little differently came from the bride’s relative, when she suggested it to the bride she was all for it. We all know Karaikudi is known for its rich heritage and over the top cuisine and we love it for what it is. Sometimes to veer away from the norm that is expected of us makes a life changing impact. Right from the location for the engagement to the dress the hunt began. Friends and family played an integral role in helping the couple. She had two options a purple saree and a pink one which went amazingly well just as how she had imagined it in her head with her groom’s attire. A lot of attention to details was given and the outcome was nothing short of breath taking beauty.
Posing and trying new ideas for the pictures was a fun filled time for both the photographers and the couple. The family portraits and those essential pictures with the friends turned out perfect and everything from the way the couple looked to their poses and the background was on point.
The couple finally exchanged rings to mark their promises to each other and their love for each other..the exchanging of wedding bands was a very heart warming experience for the bride to be. It’s a symbolic connection of two hearts and is something almost all women look forward to all their lives. To the soon to be wed couple, love is something you don’t need to look for it finds you.. And we are happy that both of you found it in each other.
Women, how do we best describe them? With a million thoughts running through their head and the capacity to tolerate a lot of pain, women are God’s beautiful creatures. They are naturally born with the caregiving gene – they tend to the little boo boos a baby has or handle state affairs, without a single complaint. Yes women are from Venus and are hard to understand, but are special, sensitive, loving and strong.
If they set their minds to something they can easily achieve it. This Women’s Day, we celebrate all the women in our lives whether it is a mother who we take for granted on a daily basis because she nags and calls a hundred times just to find out if we ate, a grand mother who makes pickles and spoils you to high heavens even though she can hardly walk without help, just because she loves you, a lover or a wife who does silly things just to see you smile.
Women can cross oceans, just to bring you a chocolate or a cup of coffee or try her best to pamper you like a child no matter how old she becomes.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colours each unique with their own personality trait. They will move mountains to make sure you are safe and well taken care of (even if it means constantly nagging you to eat). It doesn’t matter who they are, they are special. Women go through a lot of physical changes throughout their life, these beautiful women from all walks of life in these pictures taken by us show that no matter what goes on, they never stop giving their all.
They are the sweetest of creatures and we the team from Zero Gravity Photography applaud and appreciate all that they do for us and wish all women a very Happy Women’s Day 2018.
This International Women’s Day, we pledge to respect women with all our hearts, and promise to cherish them all through our lives.
Whether it is in the midst of the setting sun or on the beaches with the sand under our toes, outdoor photography is a whole lot of fun.
Right from picking the location for the picture to be taken, to the lighting, every detail matters. Sometimes the best possible picture ever taken is usually one where everything around us and the couple flows in synchrony nothing altered or added. A keen eye and good ear are also important to capture that perfect moment. Like when the sunlight falls on the couple’s faces, to capture it in that split second when everything seems perfect needs a great team, we here at Zero Gravity Photography provide that for you and ensure that those pictures we fawn over while flipping through magazines are actually a reality for you.
Sometimes Mother Nature plays against our odds, but that is beauty of outdoor photography and we still overcome obstacles to get the picture we promised.
Here are the 20 best outdoor photo shoots of ours, we travel to different places just to find the perfect location to suit our client’s needs.. whether it be the beaches of Mahabalipuram or Pondicherry or to the hill stations of Ooty and also right down to namba Koyambedu Market.. we do it all! We try to capture the little nuances that go around the couple and in between the couple via our digital eye.The most romantic of pictures are where the couples get lost in the moment are sometimes so flawlessly orchestrated that the result is better than what we could have ever imagined!
Outdoor photography may seem like a hassle, but we take great pride making our couples feel like they are in their very own movie, where they are the heroes and heroines. Whether it is an outdoor wedding photo shoot, where the couple decides to tie the knot against the beautiful backdrop of the setting sun or a Brahmin wedding where the groom is walking away for his Kasi Yatra, to destination weddings sometimes on beaches others in a scenic setting surrounded by trees and grass.. or a traditional wedding where the couple just wants to do things differently sticking to their traditional roots, there is always an added oomph factor when photos are taken in the natural breeze.
The beauty of the picture gets enhanced by the love the couple have for each other and the little smiles and their inside jokes, to the warm embraces that they share or merely just holding hands.
Sometimes a kiss can hold a thousand unsaid words, and what’s better than to capture it under a blue sky.
We believe in creating a magical visual story, a story that couples can share with their children and grandchildren, something they can look at and reminisce about even when they are older. Another myth is that outdoor photography is only for weddings, but you can also use them for portraits or create memories that will last a life time. Why not give us a shot, and let us know how it is!
Annu and Balaji’s wedding was a three-day celebration of their eternal love! Done in a traditional Tamil Brahmin style, they had a mehandi, sangeet, viradham, engagement, reception and the wedding.
The bride’s hand was adorned with intricate mehandi during the function, that ripened to a deep red. (As the old wives tale goes, the darker the mehandi, the more love between the couple!) The couple looked nothing short of regal, with the bride in her red and white lehenga and the groom looking dapper in his finery.
The rest of the functions, in true Tamil Brahmin style, had the couple in traditional attire. The bride was bursting with energy in her madisar and the groom was the picture of elegance in his panchakatcham. As the couple stood in front of their friends and family to proclaim their love for each other, it was clear that the union of these two souls was meant to be!
Both Annu and Balaji loved posing for the camera, making them an absolute delight to photograph! Here is a sneak peek into their festivities.
