May 23: Business Trip (locked to Super)
May 24-27: A Sign of Things to Come (locked to Motorcycle)
Currently working on a Bloodborne mod that allows you to take control of enemies by locking onto them. Works on any enemy. Proof of concept but working nice so far, lots of work left to go to make it useable though. pic.twitter.com/Dkmkpa6xpR
The cool stuff happening here: I am arbitrarily calling a developer debug function on-demand (without debug menu), and passing a dynamically generated "enemy ID pointer" to the function, which is pulled from the current lockon data. This is about 3 days work so far.
Works in the full version of the game, including the DLC areas. Here I take control of one of those nightmate hunter guys in the DLC area. I don't have a save file with Lady Maria alive but I'll be able to control her too for sure. pic.twitter.com/gc03i1vMeJ
Season 9 is finally here and there are some brand new challenges for you to complete.
Some pretty big changes have happened around the map, and there’s no more Tilted Towers. Instead, a new area has been added called Neo Tilted is ready to explore along with some fresh challenges to usher in the new season.
This week, you’ll be sampling some of the new delights on offer including Slip Streams and the new areas!
Fortnite Season 9 Week 1 challenges
Stage 1: Ride the Slip Stream around Neo Tilted, Stage 2: Ride the Slip Stream around Mega Mall
This is very easy to do, and you’ve probably done it yourself by now! The Slip Streams run around the new named locations, but you’ll have to ride them in different matches to complete both stages.
Click the link above for a full map of everywhere you need to go!
Deal damage to an opponent within 10s after using a Shadow Bomb
The toughest part of this one is getting your hands on Shadow Bombs. Focus on finding chests to get some. Once you do, try isolating an opponent and get on their blind-side while you’re invisible.
Fortnite Battle Pass challenges
Pickup a Legendary Item in different matches
The easiest place to find these is in chests. Try jumping into Team Rumble where Boom Bows seem to appear quite often, especially from Supply Drops.
Search chests a Lucky Landing or Loot Lake
There’s a good run that you can do in the northeast of Loot Lake. Drop in on the watchtower in the northeast to find a chest spawn on top, then drop down to the shed on the jetty for another. Next head over to the house on the north shore of the lake and check inside the basement garage, then head south to the raised island for yet another spawn. You can then find a few more scattered around the central lake area.
Scoped Weapon Eliminations
You can quite easily complete this in Team Rumble if you manage to find a sniper or scoped assault rifle. It might take a couple of games to get the weapon you need, but it will come.
Deal damage to opponents from at least 2, 4, and 6 stories above
Since Neo Tilted is so popular right now, the new city is a great place to complete all of these challenges. Land on a high building with a floor spawn, and you’ll be able to pick off people running about below.
It’s like being in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Your task this time around is to tour the Fortnite map and call in on various enormous items! Here’s how to visit an Oversized Phone, Giant Piano, and a Dancing Fish in Fortnite.
You don’t have to complete this challenge in stages, so not only could you visit each location all in one game, but in any order.
Visit an Oversized Phone
The oversized phone is the furthest location that you have to visit from all the others. To find it go to the northwest of the map and head east from The Block.
You’ll find the massive phone near the northern shore of the island, in map reference – it’s huge and red, you can’t miss it.
Visit a Giant Piano
You might already know where to find the giant piano, since it featured heavily in weekly challenges over Christmas where you had to play carols on the keys.
To find it, head over to the eastern side of the map near the mansion south of Lonely Lodge.
A little to the north of the mansion, you’ll find what you’re looking for next to the eastern cliff edge. You’ll be tinkling a tune in no time.
Visit a Dancing Fish
This location is quite easy to get to from the others thanks to the new Slip Streams.
Known for terrifying pets the world over for decades, Billy the Big Mouth Bass is a bit of a classic, and just to the southwest of Mega Mall you’ll find a huge dancing fish plaque crashed into the top of a building.
Take the windtunnel over and land on the roof to complete the challenge.

Get ready to earn those Battle Stars! If you’re not too busy with all the new stuff already in Fortnite this season, another full set of challenges are now ready and waiting. Here is what’s in store for the Season 9 Week 2 challenges in Fortnite.
We got a sneak peek at these challenges thanks to leaks, and they were all correct!
Fortnite Season 9 Week 2 challenges
Launch off Air Vents in different matches
This one might take a while to pull off, since you have to complete it over multiple matches, but it’s very straightforward. Air vents are most commonly found on Sky Platforms, as well as in Neo Tilted.
Stage 1-5: Land at Snobby Shores, Fatal Fields, Sunny Steps, Dusty Divot, and Happy Hamlet
You’ll have to complete these stages across multiple games, but remember that you don’t have to do them at the start of a game. As long as you deploy your glider – from a Rift-to-Go, Slip Stream, or anything else, you’ll get credit.
Eliminate opponents in Sunny Steps or Shifty Shafts
Try to complete these challenges early, because these areas tend not to be popular zones. Hopefully there will be some cool ways to get eliminations in the upcoming Wick’s Bounty event.
Deal damage to opponents with pistols
Pistols are common, and if you have a strong trigger finger can be deadly. Since they’re so outclassed though, it might be a good idea to try and finish off already downed enemies in team modes.
We’ve got full maps of where to go for this, so click the link to see the page.
Search chests in different named locations in a single match
This looks kind of tough, but if you target areas far away from the line of the Battlebus it’s not too hard. Places like Polar Peak, Frosty Flights and Happy Hamlet have a lot of chests but aren’t very popular.
Stage 1-3: Eliminate an opponent from 50m, 75m, and 100m away
If you’re not a crack-shot with a sniper, big team games like Team Rumble might be your best shot for this since there’s a much denser population of enemies.

Brand new Fortbyte locations are dropping every 24 hours! Over the course of Season 9 you’ll be seeing a lot more Fortbyte challenges, as this set of 100 tough tasks gradually unveils the Uptopia skin across the coming weeks. What will it look like? Nobody knows for certain, but it’s going to be a lot of fun decrypting the mystery.
There are a tons of different kinds of challenges. Some need you to go to specific locations, others unlock after gaining a certain amount of XP, while some are tied to Weekly challenges.
Most of the Fortbyte challenges need no explaining, but there are a few secret locations that can be difficult to track down in the heat of a game – here’s where to go.
Found in a desert house with too many chairs
Head back to Paradise Palms for this Fortbyte and go to the house in the southernmost part of the area. You’ll find the Fortbyte beside a bed.
Accessible with Yay! Emote at an ice cream shop in the desert
Visit the ice cream parlour in the North of Paradise Palms. Get behind the counter and use the Yay! emote to get your Fortbyte.
Found within Salty Springs
Head over to the red truck on its side in Salty Springs to find the latest Fortbyte.
Use the “Cuddle Up” emote inside a Rocky Umbrella
You’re looking for a hole in the ground that’s shaped like an umbrella west of Lazy Lagoon or South of The Block. You’ll find number seven on a little ledge above the cave entrance, so climb up and use the Cuddle Up emote to get it.
Found within Junk Junction
Head to the main building in Junk Junction and you’ll find the Fortbyte on top of a mattress and some palettes.
Accessible by Rox on top of Stunt Mountain
Just like the very first location Fortbyte you have to equip a specific skin for this one, so head into your Locked and equip the tier 1 Battle Pass skin, Rox.
Stunt Mountain is over in the west of the map, south of Pleasant Park and northwest of Neo Tilted!
You’ll find the Fortbyte right on top, so it’s worthwhile to drop in here right from the start of the game.
Found inside Wooden Fish building
You can find this Fortbyte in the giant wooden fish in the geyser field to the north of Pressure Plant.
The actual Fortbyte itself is found in the tail of the fish, on its eastern side.
Accessible in the daytime near a Mountain Top Cactus Wedge
This is an interesting one, because it seems to be linked to the length of time that has elapsed during a match.
To find the Fortbyte itself, you need to go to the southeast of Paradise Palms and land on top of the mountain marked on the map below.
You can then see the Fortbyte in the skeleton at the southern edge of the platform.
If you go there right at the start of a game, the Fortbyte seems to be locked, but after about a minute or so has elapsed it unlocks.
Accessible by solving the pressure plate puzzle NW of The Block
To solve the pressure plate puzzle to the northwest of The Block, you will need a full squad of four players or three helpful strangers!
You can find the pressure plate puzzle next to the trees between map reference C1 and D1 in the top left corner of the map:
When you get there, three players will have to stand on the buttons you see on the floor:
You can then take turns for the 4th player to collect the Fortbyte, then take someone’s place on the pressure plate.
Found within Haunted Hills
The latest Fortbyte location is in the northeast of Haunted Hills!
Head over to the L-shaped building in the northeast of the area and search around the corner and you can collect it with no additional requirements.
Accessible by using Rock Love Spray near a lavafall
First off, before you can complete this one, you need to go into the locker and make sure you have the “Rock Love” spray equipped. You get it for reaching free tier 2 on the Season 9 Battle Pass.
Once that’s done, head to the lava flow running south out of Pressure Plant.
Down from the first drop you’ll find the nearly invisible Fortbyte location. To collect it just use the Rock Love spray on top of it – you don’t need to spray anywhere special.
Found between a Reboot Van, Pirate Camp, and a Crashed Battlebus
This Fortbyte location is to the northwest of Lazy Lagoon. From the Pirate Ship, jump into the water and head west into the jungle.
You’ll find the Fortbyte in the centre of a clearing at the coordinates in the screenshot below:
Accessible by Sentinel on a frozen island
The Fortbyte that you’re going to have to go out of your way to find the most in this first drop is: “Accessible by Sentinel on a frozen island”.
To grab it, you first need to equip the Sentinel skin that you get from the first tier of the Season 9 Battle Pass.
Then drop into a match and head over to the extreme southwest of the Fortnite Map. Off the southern edge of the island you’ll see a couple of islands. On the westernmost island you’ll find the nearly invisible Fortbyte near the southern edge.
Walk over an interact with it to claim your prize.
Back in the menu, you’ll unlock the first square of the mysterious picture as your reward.
Location in Loading Screen 2
You don’t actually need to have unlocked Loading Screen 2 to grab this Fortbyte! (Cred to Daniel Myers in the comments!) Simply head to the south of Paradise Palms, near the pink dinosaur.
Just behind it, you’ll see a house with a portable toilet out back. Hit the portable toilet with your axe and you’ll be able to collect the elusive item.
All of the first batch of Fortbytes are as follows:
Accessible by solving the pressure plate puzzle to the NW of The Block
