I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am that American Eagle launched a curvy denim line! Seriously, now I can actually kiss waist gaps good bye. While I’ve always been a fan of AE denim since they’ve continually offered a short inseam length, this latest product launch is a game changer for me! I always wore a belt with my AE jeans in the past (pictured above!). One other thing that’s super impressive about their new line is that they carry Sizes 00-24 as well as Short and X-Short inseam lengths! However, it’s important to note that their extended sizes and inseam lengths are only available online.  Out of all the styles I tried on, I definitely had the best luck with their jeggings. Keep reading for my honest review of all their new curvy denim styles :) MY MEASUREMENTS Bust = 33’’ Waist = 28’’ Stomach = 31’’ Hip = 40’’ Thigh = 22’’ Calf = 12.25’’ Inseam = 27’’ Bicep = 9.5’’  MY DENIM RATING SCALE Length: 1 to 5 (1 being not petite friendly, 5 being petite friendly) Fit: 1 to 5  (1 being not curve/pear friendly, 5 being curve/pear friendly) Waist Gap: 1 to 5 (1 massive waist gap, 5 no waist gap) Price: $ to $$$$ ($: under $50, $$: $50 to $99, $$$: $100 to $149, $$$$: $150 and up)  American Eagle Ne(X)t Level Curvy High Rise Jegging - Size 6 Short What I loved… Rise - If you’re looking a high rise jean that’s more moderate, then this style is a great option. They sit slightly below the belly button.  So comfy - These jeans feel so incredibly soft and have plenty of stretch! What could have been better… Slightly tight in thigh area - These jeggings felt a bit tight in the thighs, however it wasn’t a total deal breaker since their denim tends to be on the stretchier side. Not to mention they will most likely stretch out over time.  Denim ratings: Length: 5 Fit: 4 Waist gap: 5 Price: $ Garment measurements: Waist = 30’’ Front rise = 10.625’’ (sit slightly below belly button)  Back rise = 15.125’’ High Hip = 33’’ Low Hip = 34.4’’ Thigh = 21’’ Calf = 12’’ Inseam = 26.75’’ Verdict: Buy!  American Eagle Ne(X)t Level Curvy Super High Rise Jegging - Size 6 Short No waist gap - So happy that I could definitely wear these jeans without a belt…my life is complete! Very comfortable - Overall, I thought these jeans fit me best in the thigh area compared to the High Rise ones (above). Also they’re made out of super soft fabric with plenty of stretch!  Denim ratings: Length: 5 Fit: 5 Waist gap: 5 Price: $ Garment measurements: Waist = 28.75’’ Front rise = 10.875’’ (sit at belly button) Back rise = 15.625’’ High Hip = 32.5’’ Low Hip = 32.5’’ Thigh = 20.75’’ Calf = 11.75’’ Inseam = 26.25’’ Verdict: Buy!  American Eagle Ne(X)t Level Curvy Highest Waist Jegging - Size 6 Short What I loved… Super high rise - This style reminds me of my favorite jeans from Levi’s (the Mile High Super Skinny) because they are ultra high rise! (aka they sit at your true natural waist) I’m a huge fan of super high waisted jeans like this because they are perfect for pairing back to crop tops! Form fitting - If you’re looking for a pair of jeans that really highlight your curves, then look no further because these will definitely play them up!  Length - These jeans fell right at the top of my feet, which makes them perfect for wearing with flats! I also ordered this style in the X-Short inseam because I was curious to know what that word meant! So I measured both inseam lengths and compared them. The Short length jeans have a 26.625’’ inseam measurement and the X-Short length jeans have a 24.875’’ inseam measurement. The X-Short jeans hit just above my ankle. If you’re on the shorter side or like shorter ankle jeans, then I’d check out the X-Short length.  Denim ratings: Length: 5 Fit: 5 Waist gap: 5 Price: $ Garment measurements: Waist = 28.5’’ Front rise = 12.375’’ Back rise = 15.875’’ High Hip = 31’’ Low Hip = 32’’ Thigh = 21’’ Calf = 11.75’’ Inseam = 26.625’’ Verdict: Buy!    American Eagle Ne(X)t Level Curvy High-Waisted Skinny Jean - Size 6 Short What I loved… No waist gap - These jeans did fit me well up top so no belt necessary! What could have been better… Too baggy in calf area - Idk if I’m just.. ..read more
