Dudendita, Duendita make sure you remember this name guys. Part of the berlin Baketown Collective, Duendita – is “a nonbinary fem hood bitch from Queens” who I had the pleasure of seeing at Fusion Festival last year. Her presence and enormous vocals leave you in awe and absolute inspiration.
“Pray” is the third track from her EP Direct Line To My Creator. The track oozes a level of soul and emotion that hits you deep. The track takes you on an emotional roller coaster. The ebb and flow of our emotions. And in spite of that never forget to pray and to never forget your place.
Of the track she says:
When I first made “pray,” the Ableton session was called “Bipolar Prayer,” and, with every lyric, the first line and the second line contradict each other. It talks about how I’m feeling sad and then how I’m feeling happy. And then it lists things you can do to prevent those feelings.
Excited to share with you UK-based producer Jonny Element and his flawless blend of electronica and downtempo music. Actually “Our Love” slightly flirts with electro pop as well, but what actually matters is that this track has seriously the most well-thought build up and composition development I’ve heard in a while. The whole thing floats perfectly.
If you’re looking for your next electronic / slow-dance love, you’ve come to the right place. Close your eyes and soak into this beauty.
One of the things that has been making me extremely happy and proud is the constantly growing beat scene in Bulgaria. A group of producers and bands are pushing things forward and there’s so much cool happening right now in the motherland.
Stoked to share with you this vibrant / future beats-driven remix of Dayo‘s “Soul Searchin” crafted by Low Heat. 2 acts we’ve featured before and that I hope ring a bell. If not, well… don’t hesitate and dive into their work.
“Soul Searchin” is taken off band’s 2017 self-titled release. Low Heat completely transforms original’s silky feel into a proper club force. This remix has to be played loudly.
Saib’s new EP came to life yesterday and it really turned my world around. This is a snapshot from my chat with Bas from Chillhop Records regardint today’s feature – Mangroves‘ opening track “Whale Call”.
man, i am in love i haven’t been so in love with a track in months i mean i like tracks a lot but this one is like… if someone asks me why i love chillhop, then ill link this track 😀
Then we spoke about us sharing and uploading the track and as you can imagine this really made me jump out of my chair. The whole EP, but this track in particular is the embodiment of that gentle, stress-free feeling I always chase when I look for laid back beats. I feel I can just float around forever and this sound will just keep me above everything unnecessary and gray. Stream / download the full release here.
I am truly in love. Thank you, saib!

While Samsonyte’s “Lucy” is roughly 3 years old, I couldn’t pass on featuring it. This beautiful gem came on my radar this morning and it made me smile. My music discovery life just got easier.
I fell in love with the tune pretty much from the get go. I mean, what’s not to love when it comes to “Lucy”? Soul-infused base, tight beats and one of the sexiest vibes out there. It’s the kind of track you want to play on a weekend morning in bed and not move for hours.

With every passing moment, Girl With Crocadile Tears sounds like a story or a movie unfolding. And without a doubt, the drums would be the leading characters within this story. The calm yet unpredictable nature of the drums here is part of the reason that is keeping us excited.
This actually sounds like a well-expanded loop when you notice the variety of patterns that are laced . The drums are like the climate, they remain somewhat consistent across time and the melodies are like the weather, we come across changes regularly here. If played in the background this would be great study music and in the foreground, The Villian delivers something that runs with our imagination
When listening to this, it literally feels as if you’re standing under a soothing sonic waterfall. These warm vocals simply wash over your senses and can create a body filled with peace.
This next statement is so hard to say without out coming across as exaggerated, but Reflect is sitting among the best tracks I heard all year. In a good 4 minutes, we’re served a melting pot of sounds reminiscent to Washed Out, Roosevelt and Les Sins (side project of Toro Y Moi). On here, Million Young gives us a track that ticks all the boxes; infectious, soulful and inspiring
Last week we started our Ambient Space Spotify playlist and I’ve got the perfect addition for it.
Meet Enrico Bartoli AKA Beffect – an Italian producer, DJ and bass guitarist who’s crafting beautiful ambient-infused sounds. Beffect’s style is a seamless fusion of Earthy organic sounds with modern analog synths creating beautiful modern downtempo music.
For his latest sound adventure, Enrico teams up with Australian producer Matt Tondut and the result titled “Ocean Lights” is hands down one of the most soothing & calming pieces I’ve found lately. Close your eyes, hit the play button and drift away.

Kicking off this sunny Monday morning with some old school hip hop feels, courtesy of Imperial and Micall Parknsun. And yes, we’ve got Oddisee in the house, which automatically means good times.
This “Travel The Map” remix is produced by the UK’s very own working class Dad, Micall Parknsun and released via our mates at ILLECT Recordings.
Parky, as he is affectionately referred to, offers up an eerie yet engaging soundscape complete with the obligatory hiss and crackle the rap aficionados yearn for. It’s a stark contrast to Imperial’s smooth and spacious original but nonetheless encourages the listener to embark on all encompassing excursion of the world we are blessed to reside in.
Avivia le Fay’s vocals on this would
persuade to surrender your imagination into her world. The vibe that she brings
on here is nostalgic yet delivered to us fully wrapped in modernism.
I really love that Bite My Tongue is
difficult to describe. I hear the colours of Country, Folk, Soul and Dream Pop
infused in this work of art. Country and Folk because of the instrumentation,
Soul and Dream Pop because of the breathy vocals heavily saturated with
feeling. This is a great track to unwind or even used as background decorations
for times of introspective thoughts.
