Most men (including myself) don't think too much about skincare until its too late. First Impressions are lasting impressions and a bad impression last twice as long. The first thing people notice besides what you are wearing is what your skin looks like. The problem lies when you have neglected your skin for so long that is seems unmanageable, maybe I can help you with that.
I've dealt with dry, itchy skin for years. I was told I had eczema and I used everything in my power to get rid of it, BUT NOTHING WOULD WORK! One day, itchy and aggravated I purchased the whole set (body wash, lotion and anti-itch creme)of Neosporin Eczema Essentials, within a week I seen and felt a dramatic change in my skin. My skin was soft, smooth and it wasn't itchy at all. I recommend it to everyone who has eczema.
Now that I rectified my eczema, I have been using RCW Choice Products. These are a line of natural products made by hand in Connecticut. Do to Sketchnpump's close relationship with this company we have been able to customize our own products. My favorite product is the STUNT bar soap, it's a very light soap with a clean fragrance for men that can be used for face and body. RCW Choice soaps leaves you with a clean feeling and a fresh smell. To order yours you can look up RCW Choice products on Facebook or send us an email.
You may have seen my attempt to search for various products catered to men on our Instagram page. In my search I came across Brickell Men's Products. They offer a "free" ($5 shipping fee) sample box of all they have to offer. Brickell offers everything from day and night serums to beard oil plus more! Make sure you subscribe to the website so you don't miss my full review on these products.
This past weekend we spent time in Houston Texas, and it was LIT! For those who don't know what "lit" means, I'm just saying that we had the time of our lives. First things first let me say this, the navigating through the city is no joke! Being that we are from a very small state ( the second smallest to be exact) we were NOT ready. Seriously! It's 6 lanes of highway with no exit numbers. My best advice to anyone driving there for the first time is to stay in the second lane from the right.
After getting lost multiple times, we found ourselves at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmm!Listen when I tell you we would stop there anytime we are in the city. It was just that good, from the bread to the entree. Think of the best shrimp and grits you ever had... Pappadeaux is way better than that. PERIOD! Being that we just got off of a 3 hour flight on top of getting lost on the highway we weren't really looking for much of a dining experience, but we got one!
Full and extremely tired we finally made it to the Hotel Derek. Hotel Derek is a beautiful luxury Boutique Hotel in the Houston Galleria area. You could find little things all around the hotel that would let you know you're in Texas. From the cow print robe in every room to the hidden cows in the pool area. This is the place to stay whenever you are in Houston. Being that it is a luxury hotel it is no stranger to a higher clientele and it was evident during our trip.
Each day we did something different whether it was going to the Houston Zoo, shopping at the Galleria Mall or trying food we can't get in CT. We quickly learned that Houston has a lot to offer. Sky Hookah Lounge was one of the places we went and really let loose, and how could you not with $4 drinks. On our last night in town we dined at Spindletop. Spindletop is a Restaurant at the top of a hotel that... Yup, you guessed it! It spins, every 45 mins you get a 360 rooftop view of the whole city!
Saturday July 7th, 2018 we attended the Patron A Thon at Sharshon Park in Windsor, CT

I'm no Forbes Accountant, I'm not even a subscriber, but I do know what helped me to save money. what worked for me and i think would help you to is to figure out the things i consistently spend money on, for example I learned how to do certain things on my own, to keep me from shelling out dollars. We are so connected to everything now that you can learn anything, Yes! i mean anything. From how to, to how not, it's all right at your fingertips. Sketchnpump compiled a few thing you can do to keep a couple hundred for yourself.
Clean your own car
The weather is nice now, use a little elbow grease and save a little cash.
Do Your Own Hair
It is much easier than it sound! I was 12 when i first learned how to cut my own hair. However, it wasn't til high school when i realized the benefit of doing that. Back then I would spend 20$ a week on an haircut. 20$ a week for four or five times a month is is 80 -100$ a month. Start off by learning how to do a everyday style than from there you expand your knowledge and get fancy.
Basic Car Maintenance
An oil change can run you anywhere from 25- 200$ depending on the type of car you have and what type of oil you need. Oil Changes are basically the same across the board, meaning if you can change the oil in one car you can do it to another. On average you should change your car oil every 3000 miles in a yr on average you drive 10,000 miles so that is 3 oil changes a year. So in a year you have saved yourself any where from 75- 600$ on just oil changes, we haven't even gotten to the brakes yet.
Brakes are another part of the car that you can do on your own. Brakes are a big cost, but they are easy to do once you learn how to do them. The average set of brakes are 100- 300$ per axle. A car has two axles, the Front axle and Rear axle. How often you get your brakes done is based on wear and tear, (how often you brake, how often you hit the brakes hard, etc).
You know who you are, you can't keep uber eating. Yes! i know its great and everything is on there but the amount of money you are spending on it daily is ridiculous! I'm only speaking from experience. #iloveusforreal
Becoming a DIYer (do it yourself) you can put the money you saved into doing other things, Be it a vacation, a shopping trip or using it to pay off bills you have that choice by doing things on your own.
We all know how time consuming and annoying planning a trip with a group can be. Here's some tips to make planning your trip easier!
The first tip to make planning your trip a breeze is to ASSIGN TASK to everyone! There is so much detail that goes into planning a trip for a group and if everyone has a job it makes things less complicated.
To ensure that things are moving along with the assigned task be sure to give DEADLINES to everyone. When it comes to planning a trip the sooner things are in order the better.
Make sure to COMMUNICATE! Rather it be email, face to face, group chat and etc everyone should be on the same page.
A GROUP SAVINGS ACCOUNT will come in handy for gas, hotel stay, and group activities. You don't have to be fancy about the savings account. A simple $10-$20 set aside weekly from everyone will do the trick. Or go for the easier route and just save your pocket change in a piggy bank. Anything helps!
And always remember to RESEARCH! This goes for any type of vacation, road trip, outing.
Starting this blog really made me look at me and try to define who i am as a person. By no means do i know who i am yet but i can define me better, (if that make any sense). in starting to define me i wanted to see how others see me (visually). I'm a fan of other people style more so my own. i wanted to see if i had a style of my own or if i as a follower of trends. Looking through pictures in my phone and on facebook i realized i had the same over all look and that it was my niche or my aesthetic even in the way i styled others i could see the same theme.
I like to mix, colors, fabrics and styles. do something sporty with something tailored.
I like when i see somebody who has no style give me the stank face like "why would you wear that"
