I'm having trouble reloading a family (cabinet) that's in a series of model groups and I'm trying to track down the issue (which is totally inconsistent -- a nearly identically built family reloads fine). The face-based family is a door/drawer pull shared/nested into an unhosted cabinet face type that is, in turn, shared/nested into the actual cabinet family. Any issues with that setup you can see?
i would like to create a stair with the lower 3 steps to be enlarged and my railing to go to the bottom floor. as apposed to creating a model-in-place family for those 3 steps where my railing doesnt recognize. i am attaching a pdf of this stair. in the pdf i have a description of what i want to do.
I have been wanting to use our 360 Photosphere camera to create a virtual tour of a project. We finally did just that last week for a project in construction; Hermantown Essentia YMCA Wellness Center. The* local Chamber of Commerce held an open house last night and attendees got to get in the project and safely view it without actually going to the site. We already did Virtual Reality, and now that the project is under construction, we wanted to present something new.
Another interesting thing about this project is how we used ElumTools to do specialized daylighting calculations to comply with Minnesota's B3 program*(similar to LEED). The image below shows the favorable results; solatubes fully lighting the interior space with just daylight!
I'm creating an electrical circuit schedule to check circuit breaker rating against the current that the circuits will see. On projects with hundreds, if not thousands, of breakers this would help to make sure everything is sized appropriately. However, it seems that demand factors are applied at the panel level, and the circuit itself does not know it's demand current. There is not a field that can be scheduled that will give this information. In cases of largest motors, multiple welders, etc. it would be helpful to check the circuit breaker rating against the demand current and not just connected current. Is there a way for a circuit to know its demand factor?
I have recently gained two Revit certificates. I have completed the Autodesk Certified User in Revit Architecture 2019 and have completed the Certificate of Completion in Revit MEP 2019. I want to gain real world experience to kick start my new career in this field. I am willing to start with just redlining work and would be willing to work for free to start with for a day or two a week as I already work for amazon at the moment.
I live in Birmingham in the United Kingdom, but would be interested in remote work if possible. I have Revit 2020 installed on my computer.
I want to thank you for your time in reviewing my post and will look forward to be hearing from you. Yours Sincerely,
Is it possible to extract material volumes from Railings?
I could then obtain a weight using the formula [ Kilogram per Cubic Metre * Material Volume / 1 m³]
I'm finding this one hard to crack using Project parameters.
Is it not possible to edit parameters of a model group in a schedule even if you're in the middle of editing the model group? Seems it should be doable -- parameters that vary by instance aren't an option in this case.
I have linked an architecture model, a few of the annotations are not showing up. When I went to my linked model's display settings, I see some of the options are not listed. For example, 'Elevations' is not listed. Any help on this would be appreciated!
Hi guys any of you have seen this before? (see pic), I've seen this for a while and not a clue what is happening , I have two iiyama 27" LED - G-MASTER G2730HSU-B1 Black Hawk 27 inches each one, resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels.
some times my second screen turns out black for a while, but if I move the 3D model the image returns , but it happens frequently this last days :banghead: , I was thinking in a driver but it seems that that's not the problem, thanks
