I'm a third year film student based in the UK, about to graduate in the next month. As part of our course we get free reign to make a short film of a certain length every three months or so, and in the past year I've finally combined my love of puppetry and filmmaking and started puppeteering in mine and a couple of other students films, and I'm loving it.
I really want to go into professional puppetry in film and TV after I graduate but I'm having some trouble finding out how to go about it. So I was just curious if anyone here has been successful at all in this field and if they had any advice on where to start, or just how they got into it. I'm looking at moving to London (currently based in Stoke-on-Trent) but I'm not even sure if there's any puppetry work over currently.
