Valid

Having recently discovered post rock, would love some recommendations similar to oh hiroshima's "in silence we yearn" album and mono.

I especially love the way oh hiroshima use vocals and im more into the melodic/cinematic aspect of the music rather than just having the wall of sound distorted guitars if that makes any sense!

I saw a group around 2003. They had 4-5 members, one of which would sometimes play loops from a turntable. I only had one album by them and I believe it was a double CD. Does anyone remember this band/their name? It’s driving me nuts.

I'm looking for anything that is smooth/ambient throughout. possibly little to no percussion instruments involved. thanks!
