With Waha prices going negative lately, I’ve been hearing about some operators doing either huff-n-puff or gas flood operations in West Texas. Any of you folks have any experience with that? Pros? Cons?
I am a Health & Safety professional working in the gas industry that is currently doing some research on presence of NORMs such as Radon and Lead 210 in Gas handling facilities. I can find very little research on the subject however from practical experience I know that gas storage tanks contain significant levels of Lead 210 which can be dangerous. What is your experience on the subject? Did your workplace establish some controls that would prevent your exposure to NORMs?
