Howdy y'all I recently moved to Germany and had to leave my beloved Instant Pot in the United States. My family is coming to visit me and offered to bring my Instant Pot with them. Naturally I am over the moon excited, but will it work here? I know I will to get a converter but will that be enough?
Since I don’t have a stove, I’m planning for my instant pot to be my main/only cooking tool. I know PIP cooking with those stackable containers requires that the items have similar cooking times, so I’m curious how many options I have for making complete meals in one go with the pot. I don’t want to have one part of the meal getting cold while the rest is cooking. Also I don’t mind rice and meat but would prefer more veggie oriented meals.
Any thoughts, recipes, or guides for this specific kind of cooking would be appreciated. I know it’s a bit niche and maybe the instant pot just isn’t right for my needs? Really not sure.
So, prime had it for 60 bucks. Bought it with the 4 year warranty. Read some great reviews, and read some awful ones. Is this a good one? Let me know what things to do as precautionary measures. I will appreciate any information and advice you all can share. My wife is one great cook, and she operates many cooking appliances. Is there a major learning curve? Many thanks.
Saw this link (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q1JRT7X) go up on Amazon, while the original Ace 60 page vanished into the ether... did IP just stealth launch a new gen of blender, and put it on sale, or am I just behind the times?
If so, seems like it's double the wattage of the original unit, which would solve most of the issues folks seem to have with 'em. Zero reviews certainly gives me pause - any input from y'all would be greatly appreciated, either way.
Just went online to see about ordering the Smart Instant Pot (connect via wifi). Regularly $149 but with Amazon Echo it is $89. I didn't need the echo so I clicked on just the Smart Instant Pot and that was still at $149.
So now I'm getting an Amazon Echo that I have absolutely no use for but I did save $60 so that's a plus
