Valid

Hello,

I am currently a student studying graphic, and motion design. I know that I am still learning the ins and outs of graphic design, but I find myself relying heavily on tutorials to create cool graphics for projects at work and school. Sometimes I get discouraged because I can’t seem to create anything original from my head without researching first, and it sometimes seems like I’ll never get there- like maybe I’m not creative enough?

When did you professionals stop relying on tutorials/inspiration for your work and start creating stuff all on your own? How many years in the field did it take to feel comfortable in your own style- or am I just behind the curve?

Thanks!

This will be a 3-month contract.

Anyone have experience in working on an abundance of projects, using multiple disciplines, for several brands at once?

All of the projects will be one-offs. How will I best be able to portray the journey, along with my value to the companies and the accelerator program as a whole?

Should I just keep track of everything and then create one monstrous Medium post at the conclusion? Ideally I'd like to begin shopping my resume midway through... so how can I best create an on-going story about my experience?

Thanks to any and all feedback!
