I’m very new to GF cooking, but my best friend has recently been diagnosed with celiacs and I cook for him every Saturday night. He loves make a basic pot roast with veggies in the crock pot. I always add normal flour at the end to the juices to make my brown gravy, but I want to adjust it for him. Given more time I would experiment, but I would like to make it tonight. Would the Bob’s Red Mill All-Purpose GF flour I have on hand work? Or should I go buy something else?
I'm thinking about exploring the various types of asian recipes which are gluten free. Those Korean rice cakes noodles (idk what's the actual name is), looks yummy enough as an exotic alternative to gnocchi. Although I've did saw various YouTube vids on how to make them, but finding the right rice flour for such a meal quite difficult, as I live in a Canadian region which isn't populated with a varied ethnicity.
