Hi. I'm 21 years old and recently I've become more interested in an idea of creating a passive income (dividends) and being less financially dependant when I'm old. My current salary is 700eur (I'm from Lithuania) and I could invest 200-300eur every month + reinvest the dividends. Overtime my salary will probably grow, but I would like to invest my savings as soon as possible.
I was reading various articles and reddit posts, and from time to time someone always says that dividend stocks are generally better for people nearing the retirement and that young people should invest into high growth stocks. However, I like the idea of creating passive income over the years much better. What is your opinion about this?
