I'm rebuilding my website after moving form Wix to wordpress. I have been checking out the top ranked google sites when I google " photograph " and most of the topped ranked pages hardly have any text at all. Obviously it's very important to have a lot of images on a photography site but I thought it was really important to have relevant text on the page to help rank high on google. Am I missing something here ?
No doubt, SEO is one of the most sought after skills in the digital marketing job market. Basic expectation from an SEO Analyst is to build high quality back-links that would never be brought down by Search Engine algorithms, ie using only white-hat SEO techniques.
Performing SEO consistently and building backlinks would bring up the traffic to the website to a great extent in a long run and boost the sales. Real challenge to the SEO analyst comes up in how updated he/she is, with the latest techniques. SEO in 2019 is very different from SEO in 2015.
When I click the performance button within the google search console, it gives me a graph, number of clicks and impressions. Right below that section, there are, what appears to be some type of keywords under the heading 'queries'.
My question is: how can I edit, add in more, or remove some of the entires and where did they come from? Some pertain to the text content of my site, but a lot do not and I do not know how they got there?
I can click on new query and add a new word, but this seems to not be place to add them as it then 'queries' the word with the result of no data found.
