My friends and I could be having what we coin as a ‘rowdy night’ where we start off innocently eating at a restaurant and end up along prince of Wales road. Wondering if there are any clubs that’d suit a bunch of 20 year old lads tonight.
Hello lovely Norwichians. I’m returning to Norwich for the first time in 21 years this August. I did study abroad in 1998 at UEA. I am so so so excited to return. Such a fine, fine city. I am staying three nights, from August 5th-8th, so if there are interesting local events going on I’d love to hear. I’d stay longer, but the rest of my visit will be a reunion of sorts, and we will be doing that while camping outside of the city. I found an excellent AIRBNB accommodation, within easy walking distance to most everything. A far cry from my Mary Chapman Court room back in 98!!! Though, I actually loved it there, too.
This Friday July 5th, Norfolk County Council are announcing their preferred route for a climate-breaking, ecociding, 4-lane highway across the River Wensum valley - a Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
Extinction Rebellion Norwich want to hear local people's hopes and fears, and are hosting "River Wensum Get Together", this SUNDAY, July 7th in Ringland, NR8 6JB.
I am looking at camping up at the Norfolk Coast for the weekend (no car, just me and a tent). I am looking around the Thornham area - at a glance I found the MarshView-Dairy campsite which looked quite nice. Can anyone recommend a good campsite?
Also, as I've never been to the Norfolk Coast. How busy am i expecting that area to be? I'm looking for a remote walk where i won't be crowded by more than the occasional walker.
I'm trying to replace the battery in my father's Sony portable radio, it's like what you'd find in a sat nav, 3.7 v 1300mAh, and thin. Trying to find it online has been tricky because it has to be the correct dimensions.
My question is, anyone know of a local source? Maybe somewhere that builds batteries?
