I had previously been using 1000 hour which is a great effective eyebrow/eyelash dye kit but is filled with some scary toxins like formaldehyde. So yea...don’t want to keep putting that on my skin and near my eyes. Also same goes for bleach, have some unwanted body hair that I dye but don’t want all the toxins. Help!
Hi all, I've been using clean beauty for about a year now and am on the search for a light coverage foundation/CC cream that is fairly light with a WARM undertone. Some time ago I tried several samples of foundations and found so many were either too dark or way too pink. I used the Fit Glow Vita Active Foundation in VF2 some years ago but it was incredibly dark, and I'd heard the 2 lighter shades were pink. I've used mineral foundations like Alima Pure and Lily Lolo but I'd like the tiniest bit more of coverage. Any recommendations?
I am a 20 y/o male who has moderate acne. I've been seeing a dermatologist for the past 2 years. Currently I am using a prescription cream in the morning, a different one at night, and a prescription sulfur face wash twice a day. After my latest appointment, we both agreed that not much improvement has occurred and my doctor mentioned that I should start looking into and thinking about Accutane. In the mean time, my doctor wants to try an oral antibiotic in addition to what I've been using as a last effort. I am obviously not a fan of taking antibiotics unless they are really necessary, but I am willing to try this. I expressed to them that if this antibiotic does not help, I would like to try natural remedies before going to something as extreme as Accutane. I have been hitting my skin with pretty hefty prescription chemicals for years now and I know that sometimes people have had success with really cutting them out. If anyone has a good regimen of natural products that have shown results I would appreciate the insight!
I'm currently doing my thesis on natural skincare and am interested in finding out what drives people the most when purchasing natural skincare products. So, my question for you is what made you switch from conventional skincare products to natural skincare products?
In addition to this, I would really appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes and fill in my (short) questionnaire. Link to my questionnaire
For anyone interested in the results of this questionnaire and/or want to know more about my thesis, feel free to contact me :)
For awhile now I've been on the search for an all natural (that's actually ALL natural), cruelty free beauty company that supplies basic things like face wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner.. yaknow, the essentials. I want something that will actually work as advertised, with reviews to vouch. Hoping to stay on the affordable side, but if it's worth it I'm all ears. Pleaseeee help me out with some recommendations!
