I've had a black mole less than the size of a ersser for years about 10 years. It hasn't gotten bigger and its basically cemetricle. I went to a dermatologist today and he told me he wants it biopsied because of the color.
Less than 6 months ago I had blood work done and they said I was fine with levels all looking normal.
What are the chances that I've had skin cancer this whole time and how much damage could it have done?
My dad (53) has had itchy moles for as long as I can remember, he just never thought anything of them until very recently, where he got the moles extracted and they are currently testing them.
I’m scared for him because he gets EXTREMELY tired way earlier than he usually does. He could be out by 8 pm for the night, just last year he could stay up until 12 without a problem. He also just recently got a new (office) job and he said he’s overloaded with work during the day. He usually goes to work at about 7 am and gets home around 6-7. Could the new work overload be the cause of the fatigue he gets? He’s also lost a good amount of weight, but he’s been doing intense workouts 5-6 days a week for about a year. Our family has also recently just gone through a divorce which devastated him. These are all symptoms of skin cancer and I’m just scared because he’s waited years and years to get it checked. How long is too late?
I know you guys can’t diagnose him, we’re waiting on the test results which should come in next week, I just want to know some other symptoms besides the moles, fatigue, weight loss, etc.
