I am looking for a mattress and found this online. It says that it is $4k but I get a massive discount through my employer. I was curious if anyone knew anything about this mattress.

In regards to sleeping style, I often shift during my sleep. I mostly sleep on my side. I also prefer a cool bed. I am trying to find something as close to a Tempurpedic bed.

I have narrowed my results down to these linked but I cannot decide on which would be the best pick.

  1. I am a side sleeper

  2. I sleep hot

  3. It will be sitting on the floor no frame

  4. Looking for Queen size

  5. Budget of around $500

Which should I choose or are there better choices elsewhere?

Hello there. I currently have a memory foam bed but am looking to sleep cooler so I bought a 100% percale cotton pad last month.

I’m looking to replace the mattress encasement that came with it, I was thinking a 100% cotton encasement. I also am looking to replace my polyester sheets with percale cotton.

So my plan is to replace the mattress cover, add a waterproof cover, then put my mattress pad that I have now on top, and finally percale cotton sheet set.

Do you think this is a good game plan or am I just gonna add more heat to the surface of my bed with all these layers?

Hey everyone,

So for the past few years I'd been sleeping on a Japanese futon mattress on the floor, but due to a new room situation I can't really sustain it. It was truly a godsend when I was able to make it work though. I woke up with my back feeling great and had very deep sleep!

I'm trying to find a mattress that has that same feeling, something so firm it's like you're laying on a floor. I've shopped around at my local store and even the most firm mattresses they had just felt too mushy. Has anyone had any luck with the Plank from Brooklyn Bedding? Or have any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Me, my wife and my two dogs weigh in at a total of around 525lbs.

Would like something that is supportive and won't break, preferably white in color. I think we want metal, but are open to suggestions.

We're considering this:

Mellow King 12" Metal Platform Bed Frame w/Heavy Duty Steel Slat Foundation, Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PP4Q887/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jAsnDbTZKQ5D3

Would love additional recommendations.

Thank you.

I'm looking to buy Talalay Latex Mattress Toppers (Queen), 3" at three different places but the prices between the three are quite different.

Latex Mattress Factory - Here I'm looking to buy 2 Talalay Latex Mattress Toppers, Soft (19 ILD), 3", Queen and one stretch cotton cover (Queen) for a total checkout price of $487.00. Ok, $487 for 2 toppers + a cover.

Mayers Bedding - Looking to buy nearly the exact samething, 2 Talalay Latex Mattress Toppers, Super Soft (14-19 ILD), 3", Queen and one mattress cover for topper (Queen) for a total checkout price of $729.97. Now we got $729.97 for 2 toppers + a cover.

Sleeping Organic - Finally, this place. Same stuff, 2 Talalay Latex Mattress Toppers, Super Soft (14-19 ILD), 3", Queen and one mattress cover for topper (Queen) for a total checkout price of $870.00. Now we got $870.00 for 2 toppers + a cover!!

So, for basically the same thing, we have $487 vs $729.97 vs $870. Can someone explain the wild fluctuations in price???

I went to Mattress King a year and a half ago, and I ended up buying a "new-used" Sealy Mattress. (From the tag: 100% Polyurethane foam). When I say new-used, I mean that it was bought, and returned within a 90 period. Well, being a student I thought that was a great deal. I switched from a bad futon (also contributed to a bad back) to this new mattress.

For about about a year, it was a great mattress. Unfortunately, I bought a new bed frame and it came with cheap chinesium support stands. When I lifted up the mattress I found that the stands had been bent due to their quality and the bed was being essentially caved in from the center area. I put the mattress on the floor hoping that it would straighten out. Visually it looks fine, but I can't sleep on it without straining my lower back and neck. I tried putting supports as needed, but no dice. (If anyone has a potential fix, I would appreciate it.)

I've been looking into Casper and Purple. I'm leaning towards Purple because of the way the grid pattern is, and I think it would be super comfortable. I'm generally a back sleep and sometimes side. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Got the luxury firm mattress recently. I've been waking up with killer back pain. When I lay a little lower, it's a bit better. Anyone else have this experience. I bought a new frame and everything too.

I previously had back pain on a crappy Zinus memory foam mattress and tossed that one out. However, the pain on the Saatva is on a different level. Any suggestions?

I've been eyeing a few different models/makes; need something that's mainly for camping, with battery or rechargeable-powered pump. Full sized ones seem to be uncommon so might have to spring for a Queen. Air retention and comfort are most important features

The ALPS Airbed, Lightspeed, and a couple Intex models popped on my radar. No budget per se if warrants the cost.

Appreciate any input/suggestions here!

Just bought a Serta Blue 300CT Firm memory foam mattress.. I regret everything. Thought it would be good for a bad back but the smell is horrible makes me physically sick to my stomach and haven’t slept. I know the smell is supposed to wear off but I’m already sensitive in general to smells and the delivery was such a hassle.. how long should i wait to return it because its been a day and I’m sleeping on my couch at 4am with a split migraine and itchy skin from the chemical smell coming from my room airing out the mattress.

I had a natural mattress for 9 years, caused a disc problem because it became too soft, any recommendations for types of mattress or advice for this situation?
