Fine Art Photo is a place for the collaborative exploration of photography as art by sharing theory, news and criticism. We wish to foster thoughtful, in-depth discussions based on conceptual and aesthetic analysis.
I’m wondering if there are any suggestible books which comprehensively overview photography and the great photographers. Ideally, I’d like one that overviews photography, in general, and one that specifically focuses more on portrait photographers.

I'm curious how many fine art photographers actually are able to sell their images. I've been investing a lot of time into learning about this process, just wondering what the experience is for photographers on reddit.
