                                Sev Puri recipe

Sev puri recipe is also a very famous Indian street food. It is just like dahi puri, but curd is excluded and stuffing can be made according to your choice, potato, sprouts, black chickpea onions and chutney. I have replace the normal puri with flat one, because the normal puri hurts in mouth as curd is not added to this dish. The flat one, I have made is soft as well as crispy. Recipe cuisine – Indian Recipe course – Street food Preparation & cooking time – 45 minutes Servings – 2 plate Recipe ingredients:

4 boiled potatoes

1 medium onion finely chopped

2 teaspoon green chutney

¼ teaspoon Chaat Masala

¼ teaspoon dry mint powder

¼ teaspoon cumin powder

Salt to taste

1 tbsp nylon sev

2 tbsp tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup

1 cup all purpose flour

3 tea spoon refined oil

Salt to taste

Refined oil for deep frying ( as per requirement )

Recipe Instructions:

For making Sev Puri recipe, sieve all-purpose flour in a bowl, mix salt to taste, 3 teaspoon refined oil and knead a hard dough with the help of water.

Cover it with a damp cloth and keep aside for ½ an hour.

Boil Potatoes for 1 whistle. Let it cool. Peel the skin and grate them.

Strain the excess water from green chutney.

Add all the spices, 2 teaspoon green chutney, chopped onions and salt to taste and mix well.

Knead the dough once again. Make medium balls from the dough and roll them with a rolling pin. Prick it with a fork or knife.

Cut round pieces as shown in the picture with the help of a cookie cutter or a sharp edge plastic cap of any bottle.

Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry all the puri on low flame till light brown and crispy from both the sides.

Keep them on a newspaper, so extra oil gets absorbed.

Place the puri in a plate, add some potato mixture, press with your finger in the center portion of potato mixture so a concave shape is formed.

Pour tamarind chutney of tomato ketchup in the concave shape and sprinkle nylon sev.

Delicious sev puri is ready. Serve immediately.

                    Bread Pudding recipe

Bread Pudding recipe is a simple and yummy dessert recipe. Made with milk, dry fruits and strawberry syrup. Bread should be fresh and soft for this recipe and you need to take care that you stir the milk continuously to avoid the layer. Kids will just love it. So, let us start.

Recipe cuisine – Indian Recipe course – Sweet Preparation time – 30 minutes Servings – 2-3 servings Recipe ingredients:

1 liter full cream milk

1/2 cup fresh cream

Sugar to taste

2 teaspoon Hershey’s strawberry syrup

Dry fruits of your choice

Tutti frutti for garnish

Recipe Instructions:

Take 1 liter milk in a non-stick pan and boil it, stirring continuously on high flame till it remains half in quantity.

Mix sugar to taste and boil for more 10 minutes.

Let it cool completely. Add 2 tea spoon Hershey’s strawberry syrup and blend it well in a blender.

Keep it in refrigerator for 2 hours.

Cut the bread in round shape with help of a cookie cutter. You can also use sharp edge small bowl to cut the bread slice.

Place the round bread pieces in a plate, pour the strawberry milk, add dry fruits of your choice, garnish with tutti frutti.

Delicious Bread pudding is ready to serve.

You can refrigerate it for some more time and serve chilled.

Recipe cuisine – Indian Recipe course – Sweet Preparation & cooking  time – 30 minutes Servings -2-3 Ingredients:

1 liter Milk with full cream

2 tea spoon Hershey’s strawberry syrup

Sugar to taste

4-5 Fresh Bread slice

Dry fruits of your choice

Tutti frutti for garnish

Recipe instructions:

Take a non-stick pan add milk to it and boil it on high flame stirring continuously.

You need to stir continuously to avoid the layer formation.

When the quantity of milk remains half, add sugar to taste and boil for 10 more minutes.

Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.

After it cools down, add 2 teaspoon Hershey’s strawberry syrup and mix well.

Blend it well in a blender to get a smooth consistency.

Keep it in refrigerator for 2 hours.

Make medium round pieces of Bread with the help of a cookie cutter.

You can also use sharp edge bowls to cut the Bread.

Place 2-3 Bread pieces in a plate, pour the strawberry milk, Add dry fruits of your choice, garnish with tutti frutti.

Delicious Bread Pudding is ready to serve.

You can refrigerate it for more time and then serve.

If you want to make this recipe quicker, take half milk and 1/2 cup cream.

Note : Just take care to stir the milk continiously, blend it well and Bread should be fresh and soft. Strawbery syrup is already sweet, so add sugar accordingly.

Milk Peda recipe is a very popular sweet of India. Mostly offered to God as a prasad. Peda can be made with mava, condensed milk and milk. I am sharing Milk Peda recipe from milk. Given a twist to it by adding caramel syrup, which gives it a mouth melting taste. Once you taste it, you will crave for more and more. Kids will become fan of this sweet. A very simple and quick sweet dish, prepared with just three ingredients. You can keep it in Refrigerator and consume it for a week. Perfect  after meal sweet. Let us start.

Recipe cuisine – Indian Recipe course – Sweet Preparation time – 30 minutes Servings – 7 peda Recipe ingredients:

500 ml full cream milk

1 cup fresh cream

Sugar to taste

2 teaspoon Hershey’s Caramel syrup

½ teaspoon ghee

Tutti frutti for garnish red & green

Recipe instructions:

Heat 500 ml full cream milk along with1 cup fresh cream in a non-stick pan.

Boil it on high flame continuously stirring to avoid the cream layer.

When it becomes thick and  one fourth in quantity, mix sugar to taste.

Add 2 teaspoon Hershey’s caramel syrup, ½ teaspoon ghee and low down the flame.

Cook on low flame till it leaves ghee and edges of pan.

The mixture should be not hard and not too soft.

Check by taking some quantity, cool it and roll it. If it takes proper shape, it is ready.

Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

Make round Peda with the help of you hands, garnish with tutti frutti.

Mouth watering Milk Peda are ready to serve.

Leftover Chapati recipes

Leftover chapati is a very common issue in the Indian Kitchen. If we try some innovation, yummy dishes can be prepared from leftover chapati.

I have tried some interesting recipes  from leftover chapati, sharing with you. I hope you will like them and enjoy them. So, let us start.

Recipe 1 Chapati Pizza

Ingredients:

2-3 leftover chapati

½ cup onions finely chopped

½ cup capsicum finely chopped

Tomato ketchup

1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

½ te spoon oregano

½ tea spoon chili flakes

¼ tea spoon black pepper coarsely grind

Salt to taste

Recipe instructions:

Toast the chapati on a skillet on low flame low flame, pressing it with a cloth or back side of a flat bowl from both the sides till it becomes crispy.

Let it cool. Mix onions, capsicum, spices and salt to taste in a bowl.

Apply tomato ketchup evenly on the toasted chapati, you can also use Pizza sauce if you wish.

Spread the onion mixture evenly. Add grated Mozzarella cheese on the top.

Now heat a non-stick pan, keep the flame low, place the Pizza over it and cover a lid for 3-4 minutes till the cheese melts.

Remove from pan and serve immediately.

Yummy Chapati Pizza is ready and kids will demand it everyday.

Your problem of leftover chapati is solved in a yummy way.

Recipe 2 Laddu

Ingredients:

4-5 leftover chapati

1 tbsp cow ghee

¼ tea spoon cardamom powder

Dry fruits of your choice

Powdered sugar to taste

Recipe instructions:

Break the chapati into small pieces and then grind them to a coarse powder in a mixer.

Heat a non-stick pan and toast it on low flame for 2-3 minutes.

Transfer it to a bowl, add warm ghee, cardamom powder , dry fruits and sugar to taste and mix well.

Make round balls with the help of your hands.

Sweet dish after dinner is ready. Every one will love these Laddu.

Just take care you use unsalted chapati for this recipe.

Try to make unsalted chapati everyday, to control the Blood pressure of your family.

Karela recipe

Today, sharing Karela recipe in my style. Most of the people don t eats this healthy vegetable, so I have tried to minimize the bitterness of Karela by applying salt, lemon juice and turmeric powder. Cooking it in mustard oil and adding fenugreek seeds also reduce the bitterness of Bitter gourd. This vegetable is very good for diabetic people; it is good source of vitamin B1, B2, B3, C, magnesium, zinc. So you need to eat it at least once a week.

Recipe cuisine: Indian Recipe category: Main course Preparation & cooking time: 60 minutes Servings: 3 Ingredients:

250 gm. bitter gourd

3 tbsp. mustard oil

1 big onion sliced

1 green chilli

3-4 garlic cloves

1/2 tea spoon red chili powder

½ tea spoon Maggie Masala

1 tea spoon coriander powder

1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder

1/4 tea spoon dry mint powder

1 tea spoon fennel seed powder

1/4 tea spoon dry mango powder (optional)

salt to taste

1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds

1/4 tea spoon fenugreek seeds

1/4 tea spoon fennel seeds

Recipe :

Wash the bitter gourd, cut and remove the seeds and pulp. Cut them into this slices.

Apply salt, lemon juice and turmeric powder to bitter gourd and keep them for 3-4 hours.
Wash them 3-4 times in water and squeeze them and keep aside.

Make a smooth paste of Garlic, green chili & onions in a blender.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, when they turn black, add fennel seeds and fenugreek seeds.
Add bitter gourd and stir fry them for 8-10 minutes on medium flame, til they become crispy.

Transfer them to a plate.
In the same oil, mix onions garlic paste and cook till it leaves oil.
Add all the spices and salt and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Mix the Bitter gourd and cook for 2-3 minutes stirring on medium flame.
Tasty Karela recipe is ready.

Serve with chapatti or paratha. Really a tasty and healthy vegetable recipe you must give a try.

If you want to wear heels, please go for platform heel, and not pencil heel.

Before buying footwear, try them by walking some distance. Don’t buy if you are not comfortable, just because of the design.

Branded footwear is little costly, but they are very comfortable and long lasting.

So buy one instead of two, but buy a branded one.

In your collection of footwear, you must have a slipper style, one sandal with strap, belle, wedges and shoes.

As far as color of footwear is concerned, White, black, red, brown, golden and silver color is must in your collection. These colors will match with most of your outfits.

Last but not the least, avoid buying footwear online, there is difference in sizes of different brands and you can’t check the comfort by trying

Modak recipe step by step with picture

Modak recipe is a sweet dish, offered to Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Chaturthi Festival celebrated in India. There are different recipes of  Modak. It can be prepared with milk, dry fruits, coconut, cottage cheese, all purpose flour. Modak recipe, I am sharing today is prepared from only 3 ingredients, milk, cocoa powder and sugar. You can use more than 1 teaspoon cocoa if you want it more chocolaty. This Modak recipe is very easy and delicious in taste. Kids will just love it. So, let us start.

Recipe cusine – Indian Recipe course – Sweet Preparation & cooking time – 45 minutes Servings – 7 Modak Recipe ingredients:

500 ml milk with full cream

½ cup fresh cream

1 teaspoon cocoa powder

Powder  sugar as per taste

½ tea spoon ghee

1 white milk chocolate bar ( optional )

Recipe Instructions:

Boil milk and cream in a non-stick pan continuously stirring on high flame.

Continuously stir the milk to avoid the layer and acquire consistency.

When the milk becomes  thick, add 1 teaspoon cocoa powder and mix well. I have used more than 1 teaspoon.

You can mix cocoa powder in 2 tea spoon milk and then add to avoid the lumps.

Reduce the flame and add sugar to taste and ½ tea spoon ghee.

Cook on medium flame stirring till the mixture becomes thick and leaves edges of pan.

Let it cool completely. Mash it properly to make it smooth.

Now make small Modak with the help of your hands or you can also use Modal mold available in the market.

Delicious chocolate Modak are ready.

One more optional step if you want to make them more creamy and mouth melting.

Take white chocolate ina bowl, place it ina hot water vessel or use microwave to melt it.

Dip the prepared Modak in it from the bottom and let it cool.

Tempting Modak are ready to serve.

You can refrigerate them and consume for a week.

     How to make pancakes without eggs and baking powder


There are lots of method to make Pan Cakes. Pan cakes are mostly made using eggs and baking powder, but I have not used both the ingredients and made Pan cakes in Indian style. So delicious and mouth melting. You will just love them.
Normally Pan cakes are thick, but as I am not using eggs and baking soda, I have made them a little thinner. But they taste very yummy. So let us start.

Recipe cuisine : American Recipe category : Sweet Preparation & cooking time :1 hour 15 minutes  Servings : 4-5 
Recipe Ingredients :

1 cup wheat flour
3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla custard powder
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel syrup ( as per requirement )
Hershey’s Strawberry syrup ( as per requirement )
1/2 cup walnuts chopped
Cow ghee or refined oil (as per requirement)

Recipe Instructions:  

Take wheat flour, cardamom powder, custard powder, milk and sugar in a bowl and mix well with the help of a blender.
Keep it for an hour. The batter will become fluffy.
You can add some more milk for required batter consistency.
Whisk it for 5 minutes in one direction.
Now heat a non-stick pan.
Spread a ladle of batter over it evenly.
Add very little oil or ghee on the edges.
Turn and fry from the other side also.
Prepare all the Pan cakes in the same way.
Now spread some Chocolate caramel syrup, then some Strawberry syrup.
Spread some chopped walnuts.
Delicious Pan cakes are ready.
You can serve them in two ways.
Either fold it twice and serve.
Or place all the Pan cakes in a Horizontal row and cut like a cake and serve.
