When Andrew reached out to our business, he already owned 2 investment properties in Sydney and 1 investment property on the Sunshine Coast.

Andrew was looking to tweak his strategy.

He wanted to start targeting properties with both long term potential AND strong cash flow.

Over a couple of years, we helped Andrew buy a home within 12km of Brisbane CBD, which he converted into a dual income property, and built a brand new dual income, cash flow positive investment.

These two properties now rent for well over $1200 a week and cover the costs of his other negatively geared properties in Sydney.

Asking specific questions whilst inspecting a property can be a great way to gather information that other buyers may not be receiving. 

You should always be asking the selling agent the following questions:

1. Why are the owners selling? What is their motivation?

2. How much did they purchase it for? And when?

3. Have you received any other written offers?

4. What are the seller’s expectations around price?

Knowing the answers to these questions may give you an upper hand when it’s time to negotiate.

Jen & Brad came to Pumped On Property in late 2018 with the goal of buying their first investment property. 

They were looking to invest in Brisbane and buy a quality home within 25km of the CBD. 

It was important for their property to have the potential to build a granny flat. 

Jen & Brad felt they did not have the market knowledge, skills or education to execute this strategy on their own.

After watching our videos and catching up for a number of strategy sessions, they decided to become a client and engage our buyer’s agency service.

They have recently spent $20,000 renovating their property and plan to add a granny flat for $120,000 later this year. 

The total cost of the house, the renovation and the granny flat will be $540,000, which they expect to rent for $740 per week.
