There’s always a little lull in makeup and beauty releases towards the end of June as Summer items starting the sale rack! It’s too early for Fall releases and Summer ones are pretty much over so, you can a period of quiet Don’t worry! It won’t last long because Fall will be creeping up soon!
And even during the lull there are still plenty of new makeup and beauty picks that just launched at Sephora.
Here’s a few including a new Buxom Eyeshadow Palette that looks incredible!
Shades: Cashmere Craving (soft ivory matte), All Access (golden white shimmer), Gold Status (warm gold shimmer), Invite Only (terracotta matte), Crazy Rich (golden copper shimmer), Faster (golden orange shimmer), For Real (soft copper metallic), Upgrade (copper rose glitter), Werk (reddish brown matte), Boom (rust brown metallic), Bronzed Bod (deep bronze shimmer), Unapologetic (deep chocolate-brown matte)
Boscia Peptide Trio Eye Cream $40
Did you say eye cream? I’m always up for new eye cream! Boscia’s newest formula contains a host of hydrating oils from avocado, almond, and sesame as well as a peptide blend to nourish and fight fine lines!
Boscia Resurfacing Treatment Toner with Apple Cider $28
I know applie cider is good for your hair but how about your skin? Apparently the vitamin C in it will help to brighten skin! This 20% acid complex acts to exfoliate and resurface skin revealing a smoother, brighter complexion!
Lululemon Selfcare Sweat Reset Face Moisturizer $48
Lululemon released a range of skincare at Sephora recently and I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it yet but the Sweat Resit Face Moisturizer did catch my eye! It’s a gel moisturizer that not only hydrates but also reduces the appearance of redness or flushed cheeks pre-workout.
Sephora seems to have targeted e-mails going out lately. I’ve heard rumors about these but I never personally got a target e-mail from Sephora until this month! It’s been a very eventful month because less than two weeks ago Sephora sent me a 20% Off Anniversary coupon code which surprised me and I was all hell yeah!
But even better less than a week later I got ANOTHER 20% Off e-mail coupon code. Both codes can be used either online or in stores and are only good for a really short time. Like the one they sent me this week is only good until June 11th. Sucks it has to be used in such a short time but I do appreciate the gesture.
One of my readers mentioned she got 15% off. So, do check your email maybe you’ll see one floating around in there. I’ve gotten a few targeted offers from Ulta in the past as they track what I buy and offer me a coupon for that particular item within weeks or a month of me buying it. For example, I’ve gotten $15 off $50 in Bare Minerals and other such offers. I guess Sephora is also using these types offers too now. It’s a nice perk but I’d like to see the offer expire in say two to three weeks versus a week.
None the less, it’s nice to see it. However, it’s also worrying as it could mean people are spending as much as they used to at Sephora! Hmmmmm!
June is nearly upon it and with it Pride Month arrives to celebrate the LGBT community and of course, the anniversary of the Stonewall riots. It’s nice to see so many brands taking part in Pride Month this year.
Sephora does so with a new, limited edition #Lipstories Lipstick called Pride with Love is Love packaging. Pride is a metallic red which looks quite lovely. You know how much I love a good metallic red! I’m a fan of the formula of the #Lipstories formula as well! It’s pigmented, creamy, and cheap as hell at $8 bucks per a shade!
What would tip this release into the awesome zone is if they had donated some funds to LGBT organization but guess we can’t have everything!
Sephora #Lipstores Pride is available now at Sephora.
You know where I struggle placing eyeshadow? My crease! This new Sephora Uncomplicated Brush Set addresses just that issue! Your eye crease! I always find it difficult blending in color into my crease. I sometimes go to high and end up creating a Mimi eye look. Not good. I always feel like youTubers seem to have a lot of real estate around their crease area and place color flawlessly. Me? I have no idea where my crease is or if I even have one sometimes. I do find that if I get just the right brush that application becomes a lot easier.
That’s exactly why I’m buying this Sephora Uncomplicated Brush Set as it has these smaller blending brushes that should fit just right into my crease! The kit was inspired by the creation of a cut crease look.
The set includes give brushes, a leather pouch, and a cut-crease tutorial as well!
