Battlerite official first season review by MMO Boosting Service
The new Battlerite official first season came on 07.03.2018. All seasons since the release of Battlerite were preseasons or alpha seasons. The new season is coming with some really useful things and rewards. All the battlerite rating from previous seasons has been reset. From now on every Battlerite season will least for 10 weeks, and on end of the season the rewards will be given based on current or highest rating at end of the season that’s is not stated yet.
The new Battlerite first season sponsor system
New sponsor system grants additional rewards for daily quests and it lasts for the whole season. The sponsors can be signed for in quest menu, you can sign for one sponsor at the time, and you can choose what fits you best. While choosing sponsor you can see the rewards it offers so you can decide what would you want the most. Battlerite sponsor progress is done by completing the daily quests, the number of empty circles in sponsor reward field shows you how many quests you have to do for that field reward, once you completed all of the fields in area you will gain reward for that field and you will be moved on next one where you start to progress from start. By the end of the battlerite season which was announced for 15th may, you should be able to do all the quests from all sponsors if you don’t miss your daily quests, as you can store up to 3 daily quests it means you need to play every 3rd day so you don’t miss any sponsor rewards until end of battlerite season 1.
Battlerite Leaderboard system
Until now we had to visit other websites as battlerite-stats to see leaderboards, but from battlerite season 1, we will have leaderboard in-game. You will be able to see top 200 soloq players, top 200 2v2 and top 200 3v3 teams, their division, their win rate in season, and most played heroes. Sever is determined by most played games on some server.
Pre-lobby battlerite system
We know it was annoying for the most of ppl that you get bad team combo, no healer combo, you get blindly countered etc. Since battlerite season 1, we got pre-game lobby where we have order of picks and chat so we can assemble the team better. Most of the people are one trick heroes so it won’t matter much for them, but yet at least someone can change. This is a really good feature, as if you are 2nd to pick, you can counter pick their first pick or you can swap with your first pick in case you are one trick. This feature should make our game easier.
The battlerite season 1 reward changes
Mount that was award for grand champion rank now can be permanently unlocked once grand champion rank is accomplished, not a temporarily reward as before.
Top 5 players in battlerite leaderboard will get a unique title based on their rank archived on end of the battlerite season.
The new frames are added, they will represent your league and division so you can see on your icon your current league and division.
Battlerite season 1 got another useful feature and in-game chat where you will be able to see and reply whispers. In our opinion, it was annoying that mostly we didn’t have the notification that someone wrote or we couldn’t write/ answer while we were waiting round to start. You can switch in which channel you wanna write by pressing TAB.
Battlerite season 1 matchmaking improvement
The less important one is that players with rankings in previous seasons need to play only 5 games and new players gotta play 10 placement games, guess that’s enough about it .
The important change is that algorithm is changed so there will be less unbalanced matches, if there are not enough players playing on your current rank than you might get unbalanced match, but the gaining and losing division points is improved now, so even if you get an unbalanced match and you lose it, there won’t be normal rating loss, it will be a lot smaller, and the winners will get a bit rating up. This will balance the rankings, as people won’t be able to farm up divisions anymore, so a lot of people will be on their true rank.
Also the in match rank is removed, you cant see the rank of your teammate or the enemy anymore, it will be frustrating for most of the people, but actually that’s a good feature. Most of the ppl got over-cocky or overdefensive once they see the rank of enemies, which kinda has a big impact on the gameplay. There’s a lot of players who as well quit the games instantly if they see its unbalanced, or some just afk and crying on chat how it is unbalanced. Like this we hope that people will give their best without instant disappointment at the start of the match.
We hope that those new features and improvements will make a lot better gameplay and bring a lot more people into the game.
Battlerite is a rework of Stunlock Studios previous game named Bloodline Champions. The older version ( Bloodline Champions ) is realized back in January 2011, and since than it was the most skill required arena game. Battlerite is released on steam by the same company, with the same game concept, but as improved version, more balanced heroes and better graphics.
About Battlerite Gameplay
As we already stated the Battlerite is battle arena game. There is 2v2 and 3v3 matches, whatever fits you more. The heroes are sorted into 3 groups: Melee, Ranged, and Support, each group has multiple heroes in it, some are tankier, some are not, but every hero has its different playstyle. In battlerite you don’t have gear, leveling, upgrading etc. Its completely free game and there is nothing that can’t be bought with in-game currency, which you get by playing the game, therefore everything you can buy either for real money or in-game currency is just the visual things, which makes this game great since there is not any kind of known pay2win.
Battlerite is a really fast skillshot game ( you actually need good aim and prediction ) and requires a lot of focus, mind games, tracking of cooldowns, etc etc.
As we said, there are 3 groups of heroes (at least 3 that’s listed by the game ), Melee, Ranged, and Supports. Battlerite is different than other games because no matter what role you play, you need to do everything, for example, if you are a support, it doesn’t mean you go around and heal your DPS, you need to in same time heal, do damage, and control.
Every hero has its offensive and defensive spells,, and the ultimate, and there is a lot of combos that can be made with any team composition.
Battlerite talents ( Batteries)
Battlerites are talents that you can set differently for every matchup you are facing, specific heroes etc. Batteries set before every game starts when you see what combo you are playing against, There is a lot of different batteries to make your hero more defensive, offensive , mobile, depending on your gameplay style and matchup you are against.
Battlerite Game Modes
For now, there is Quickplay 2v2 and 3v3 games, and League 2v2 and 3v3 games as soloq, or 2v2 and 3v3 as premade team que.
Battlerite Quickplay is there to learn new heroes, to understand the game better, and to try out new stuf, builds etc.
Battlerite League is the competitve game mode, there are tiers and divisions as in most games currently. Battlerite league (ranks ) tiers are bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, champion and grand champion. Every tier before grand champion has 5 divisions, only the grand champion is single division, where you further ranking depend on points you got there ( as the league of legends system). You got soloq ranking that’s same for 2v2 and 3v3 games, and there is premade team ranking that’s based only on your current team, therefore you can have as many teams as you want with a different people (or same people on different accounts :p ).
So far battlerite doesn’t have so many players as other games yet in our opinion its the best game to play casually, as it doesn’t require you to sit for hours doing quests etc to improve your hero so you can progress. Battlerite offers you free to play exciting arena game where all you need is to have fun and enjoy the gameplay.
The new Global gaming marketplace overview By MMO Boosting Service
Being a gamer is frequently a multi-franchise and a multi-platform hobby, and if you are a collector, you know how time-consuming it might be. Keeping track of several forums, checking on some poorly designed, shady websites offering no safety of trade.
That is why this brand new Kickstarter project should pique your curiosity. MMOAUCTIONS.com is a brand new project that hopes to connect gamers, both offline and online, within a one, well-designed bazaar. Whether you want to trade your MTG cards, or you want to get rid of an old MMO account in exchange for a character in another game, you can trade buy or sell gold at cheap prices, find a good and cheap boosting services, cheap leveling services and more – from now on you will be able to do so via a single website.
There are quite a few things that will set MMOAUCTIONS.com way ahead of their competition. Multi-layered six step verification (with additional optional steps), scammer database with entries gathered from multiple websites over three years and 24/7 support shows how serious those guys are about the security. A mobile application that will allow you to manage your listings, set of tools and notifications called “smart vendor” and even middleman service in the form of a three-way chat with a human go-between, in short – all you need to make your transactions smooth, quick and protected.
From what we have seen from the website demo, it has a very modern, minimalist design, with large noticeable buttons and intuitive navigation – everything seems to be in place. Responsiveness and resolution scaling are also remarkable, making it easy to navigate on a huge variety of platforms. Conveniently divided into functional categories you can also find sections dedicated to board and trading card games expanding potential userbase beyond online gaming. From what we know, a dedicated mobile app is currently in development and is going to be available for free to all users
Even tho the Kickstarter is fresh, and it is the crews’ debut on a crowdfunding service, the campaign is very well laid-out, from exciting pledge rewards to auspicious stretch goals it all feels like a very well designed plan. Tiers begin with a 1$ Adventurer tier that grants early website access and discord invitation, higher tiers also grant badges, premium account time and listing promotion, on top of all that each pledge tier (apart from adventurer) will have their profile page theme changed to match their backer level, For example, Berserker tier will have savage profile art with matching colours etc. Profile customization also grants a great opportunity for online shops to maintain their branding on this new website.
If you are a gamer, you should put this project on your radar as their success can change the face of online trade forever.
Just to make it clear from the start, there is no better or worse roles, every role is supposed to be on the team so you can make the team whole. If you don’t have the complete team, you are one step to losing the game. So the Tank, support, ranged DPS, flanker, offtank is equally important. Once you understand that every role is important, and agree to fit any role needed in the team, you are on the right way to become a better player in Overwatch.
TANK in Overwatch
Most of the peple in Overwatch count it as the usless role, probably because you cant one shot whole their team constantly i guess. But actually, the tank is as important as any other role. As a tank, you should be focusing on covering your team ( ranged DPS, supports, off-tank and the flanker when he is back to heal up ). You should be building your ulties fast as you can, but you shouldn’t be focusing on the damage you make, or on kills, your only job is protecting your team, and making them not able to pass through you in your backline. If the flanker is poking you from the back, you don’t turn to it, you let your team deal with it while you are protecting them everyone other in the enemy team. If you are for example Reinhardt and you turn back on flanker, you will leave whole your team vulnerable, because they don’t have your shield protecting them. Once you start focusing on how to protect your whole team instead of chasing the kills and damage, you will become a better tank in Overwatch.
OFF TANK in Overwatch
The mistake of most people is because they are playing off tanks in Overwatch as DPS. Your job as off tank is to protect your team while the main tank is low hp or out of shields. Or to protect your support / main tank / ranged DPS from flanker while the main tank is protecting the whole team from the enemy team. You should never go in front of your main tank and chase low hp people, or chase the flanker that’s going to your spawn, your job is to always be in the middle between your main tank and your rest of the team. So you can easily move to where you are needed. Either changing a main tank for some seconds while he is recharging or helping your team vs flankers. Once you focus on protecting your team and not acting as DPS, you will become a better off tank in Overwatch.
SUPPORT in Overwatch
Supports are usually most flamed role in Overwatch. Whenever the team is losing they mostly put the blame on low healing, sometimes it is support’s problem, sometimes it’s not. Mostly the supports fail because of their best intentions (right we understand what people wanted to do, and its good intentions, but you are not supposed to do it anyway). Usually, the supports in Overwatch are trying to heal everyone, doesn’t matter how far he overextended, The most frequent failure is that supports go in front of their main tank to heal the flanker “because he is DPS and he will kill them all “. Actually, your job as support in Overwatch is to stand behind your ranged DPS and your tanks, but on the position where the flankers cant easily catch you and of course heal your team ( sounds hard right ? but trust me, it’s not). As soon as the flanker start poking you, your ranged DPS and your off tank should be focusing it, so if you are on good position, you will make it an easy job for them, and you should be always safe. As we already stated, as the support in Overwatch you should never expose yourself by trying to heal the flanker who is behind entire their team. It’s simple, if you die as support, they can instantly push it, because your team won’t have enough healing. If your flanker dies, you can just heal your team and that’s the better chance of winning the fight even as 5v6. Once you start playing by this, you will become a better support in Overwatch.
RANGED DPS in Overwatch
Well, the role name is telling a lot about how your gameplay should look like. Your position should be behind your main tank and off tank, close to your supports. The ranged DPS is in our opinion the hardest role in Overwatch because your gameplay depends on how good your aim and prediction is. Yes, you read it right, the prediction is very important for ranged DPS in Overwatch. You can’t just shoot straight into body or head, the people will be moving, if you got a good prediction where they will move, you can track them down fast. Your job as ranged DPS in Overwatch is to poke the enemy team whenever you got the chance and to help your supports or tanks when enemy flanker comes. Of course, the flanker is the main priority for you, and as any other role, you should never be chasing and overextending to kill people, as you are the main source of damage in the team. Being greedy can be rewarding, but in most cases, it will cost you wiping your team. The patience is the only way to become a better ranged DPS in Overwatch.
Flanker in Overwatch
The flankers are used to seem as the too hard role, but it is not as hard as it seems. Flankers are there to bother enemy team so they have to focus on them, while your team tries to pick someone when they put too much focus on the flanker. The flankers have a lot of escape abilities which makes them good for overextending a bit. As the flanker, you should watch out on your position and your health, if you are on low health, you are open to your healers to heal you but in the same time, you should be out of sight to enemies. If you have ana or Zenyatta, you can get healed on the range, but in case you don’t, you either have to focus on health packs or pulling back to your team. You shouldn’t be entering into their team if you don’t have the kill 100% and an escape plan after a kill. If you miscalculate and enter into their team and still don’t kill anyone and get picked off, you might lose your team the whole team fight. So basically, you need to annoy them as much as its possible but in the same time to be perfectly safe. As with every role, if you get over greedy, you might be costing your whole team a point. The patience is the most important thing on way to become a better player in Overwatch.
Whatever role you play, you need to be focused on your position, and to do what your role requires you to. You should not get greedy at any cost. As we stated, we know it can be rewarding to get greedy and make some kills, but if you don’t have everything calculated well (who to kill 1st, who to kill 2nd and how to escape when you get low health) you might be just losing the game for your team. To become a better player in Overwatch takes a lot of effort, changing playstyles, learning, focusing etc. It’s not a thing you can do in couple days/weeks. But if you follow our guide how to become a better player in Overwatch, we guarantee that you will see improvement fast. And by fast, it can mean days/weeks, because we are not all learning the same speed, and changing our behavior either to people or playstyle. But following our ” How to become a better player in Overwatch ” article, you should be able to increase your Overwatch rating, and place yourself higher in Overwatch games.
Overwatch overview by MMO Boosting Service
Shortly about Overwatch
Overwatch is FPS ( first-person shooter) game which is team based. Overwatch is published in may 2016 and can be played on PC, PS 4 and Xbox One. The announcement at end of January was that Overwatch is played by 20 million players, which makes it one of the most played FPS game. Overwatch is the game where first of all AIM matters as in every FPS game, but don’t worry if you don’t have really good aim, you still can play champions where AIM is not as important. There is a lot of factors that matter in Overwatch. Besides the AIM you need fast decisions, tactics, team leading, luck etc. So we are sure that anyone can find his position in Overwatch.
Entering the game
As in every game, you start from Overwatch Level 1, and you progress further by gaining experience from finished games. Of course, the wins give a bit more experience, but no one can win every game right? So you get decent experience even for lost games which makes the progress anyway.
Well, there is no much about content in Overwatch. Its pure PvP (player vs player ) game, from time to time some PvE event appears which will reward you with some sprays (tags) and that’s it, everything else is PvP based. You can choose to play between Quickplay, Arcade or Competitive games. More about incoming content in Overwatch you can see by clicking here: Overwatch new content
Overwatch Quickplay is the place where most of the people playing champions to practice them, or just to chill in the game without worry about the Overwatch rating ( we will talk about it later). As well the quick play is full of trolls, but guess some people enjoy trolling so at least it’s better to do it in quick play.
Overwatch Arcade games
In Overwatch Arcade you can find multiple options, as Deathmatch, 1v1, 3v3, 4v4 etc. Each win will fill one bar at 3 bars you will be rewarded with an Overwatch box which can contain multiple rewards. The rewards from boxes are skins, sprays, voice lines, Play of the game intro , victory poses or coins. This is clearly the best way to farm Overwatch boxes, but it has a limit, you can have up to 3 boxes each week out of there which is 9 wins in any arcade mode. About Overwatch arcade games you can find more by clicking on here: Overwatch arcade games
Overwatch Competitive Play
As in most of the games, Competitive games are most played mode. Who doesn’t like to prove to others that he is better, right? Well, actually there is a minor population of people that don’t care about proving, but in our experience its really low population ^ ^. But as it is the most played mode, we will be giving the most focus on it.
Starting Overwatch Competitive
To start Overwatch competitive play you need to be level 25 ( which basically makes new ppl get some experience and learn about the game before they start playing it). As soon as you hit 25th level and you are ready to enter competitive play, you will have to do Overwatch Placement games, which will decide you first rank and Overwatch rating ( SR – Season rating ).
The tiers in overwatch are the following Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grand Master, and lastly there is Overwatch top 500 players in region ( lowest to highest). You will need to play 10 Overwatch Placement games in order to get your first Overwatch rating. Of course, if you win more games, the better you will be placed. By our experience, the new Overwatch accounts with all wins in placements can get up to 3900 Overwatch rating (most we ever got on fresh accounts ) , which makes you in Master tier. Of course the higher tier you get, the harder games are, Tiers are metric for skill ( in most cases). As soon as you have done your placement games you can play more competitive games to increase your Overwatch rating ( tier).
After you have done your Overwatch Placement games you can continue to increase your Overwatch rating by winning the games (which is not an easy task). You can climb up to any tier, but everyone eventually gets stuck at some point (mostly due to playing vs ppl on same skill level, so a little mistakes decide who wins or loses ). But as in every MMO team game, the teammates can perform bad and no matter how hard you try, you can lose the game, so the best tactic is to play your best and improve even in games that you lose.
More about how to play and tactics in next blog, this was simply quick Overwatch info.
