Beautycon is an annual beauty festival, which takes place in London, Dubai, Los Angeles, and New York City. Beautycon celebrates and embraces beauty with countless celebrities, content creators, and brands. While you get to explore loads of booths, Beautycon provides meet-ups and panel discussions with your favorite talents.
Here is the list of the talents.
Endless scrolling, I know.
Beautycon is where you can experience the latest beauty trends. Brands come up with fun ideas from small games, temporary tattoos, and even taking pictures with half-naked models covered in colorful paint (lol). On top of that, you get to see all of your favorite influencers in one place. I mean, if you’re into makeup, how would you resist such an enormous festival? Come on, Zendaya was there giving a speech.
Beautycon expands each year, and this year’s Beautycon was very special to K-Beauty lovers. The primary focus was health & wellness, and Korean Beauty.
Beautycon launched a section called “K-Town” solely dedicated to Korean Beauty. Many Korean brands such as Seolhwasoo, Laneige, Amore Pacific, and Soo Ae represented K-Beauty.
In the heart of K-Town, Besfren Beauty proudly represented three of their top selling brands it carries. Donginbi, Jayjun, and Elensilia. To give you a brief information about Besfren Beauty, it is a multi-brand Korean beauty retail store founded in 2016. It is like Sephora for Korean beauty, which sounds absolutely heavenly. Besfren Beauty is already making its way up in the competitive beauty industry, and is quickly expanding.
On these two magical days of Beautycon, Morgan Stewart (a.k.a. Morgansbeautybreakdown and Morganallisonstewart on social media platforms), partnered up with Besfren Beauty, and represented three of its best brands.
Besfren Beauty had a wheel of fortune in front of the booth, which formed an endless line all around the booth.
Donginbi, KGC ‘s cosmetic brand that uses 6 year old Korean red ginseng as the key ingredient for mainly anti-aging fuction, has repackaged their whole skin care line, which has not launched in stores just yet. Despite the availability, its graceful packaging and exceptional quality drew many beauty gurus.
Elensilia, the brand known for its signature snail mucus cream, has brought their sheet masks, ampoules, face and body soaps, perfume sticks, and other types of creams. Amongst them all, French Propolis Ampoule was undeniably an attention grabber of the weekend. Because of its affordable price and generous amount of gold flakes in the product easily hooked many.
Jayjun, relatively a new cosmetic brand that gained its popularity for being founded by the top surgeons in Korea, and for its remarkable collaboration with the legendary actress Drew Barrymore, flaunted its newest lines, Anti-Dust and Real Water Brightening line, along with its top sellers of all time. Beauty gurus could not keep their eyes off of Anti-dust line with the gorgeous floral packaging and Barrymore’s life changing sheet mask, the Intensive Shining Mask.
The beauty of Beautycon is bumping into famous people left and right.
Liah Yoo, Irene Kim, and even Lucy Hale hung out at Besfren’s booth.
It was personally my first Beautycon ever, and I must say, ‘twas a magical weekend I’d never forget!
Ellie Choi, (a.k.a. Elliejellyb3an on Instagram) shared her tips on getting the perfect, glass looking skin on her social media. It quickly went viral without a doubt, because her skin was flawless. Clearly, who wouldn’t kill to have skin like hers.
As you'll see in the rest of this article, I don't use the same products as Ellie does. I formed my skin care routine on what product works for me, and what doesnt. Simply because skin care products may not have the same effect on different skin types. Hence, I strongly suggest you do the same.
Without further ado, here is my version of Korean Glass Skin Routine.
Note: I have dry & sensitive skin.
Step 1: Garnier Micellar All-in-1 Cleansing Water (Oil Free)
I recently started using this product about two months ago, as I started getting my eyelashes extensions. I had no choice but to use an oil free cleanser to protect the permanent glue on my lashes. In the midst of finding a good oil free makeup remover, I came across this Micellar Cleansing Water. I soak the cotton pad, then gently wipe away makeup at the end of the day.
It's time to double cleanse! Although the micellar water is supposed to remove all the makeup without rinsing afterwards, I still see some makeup residue on the towel after I dap my face with it. Always, always, always, double cleanse! It's the most basic, yet most essential component of Korean skin care. I cannot stress this enough!
I've been using this cleansing foam ever since it came out in the market. I can easily say this is one of my holy grail items. Everything about this cleansing foam is JUST. RIGHT.
If you're interested in skin care, perhaps you're already aware that you shouldn't exfoilate your skin too frequency, especially if you have sensitive skin. Other than how often you should exfoliate your skin, choosing the right exfoliatior is crucial in this step. Because I have such sensitive skin, I went ahead and picked up a product with the least abrasive beads. After I leave the mask on for about ten munutes, I gently rub my face in a circular motion, then I rinse it off with water. I use this product once a week to get rid of any dead skin cells on the surface of my skin.
Step 4: Toner – Cosrx Centella Water Alcohol Free Toner
Next up is toner. But it specifically has to be alcohol free. The first thing you need for supple skin is deeply hydrated skin not just on the outside, but from the inside. First, I spray generous amount of toner on my face, and gently dab for better absorption. I either repreat this step about two or three times more, or wet the Etude House Soonjung Dry Capsule Sheet with the toner, and leave it on my skin until it's dry.
Last step of my glass skin routine is this guy - Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask. Jae's review on this mask got me hooked up, and I had to get one for myself too. Although this is an overnight spa mask, you can still use this as a daily cream to lock all your previous hard work.
Glass skin is not about being shiny or oily. Rather, it is about clear and supple skin that glows from the inside. Won't you try it as well?
My goodness – coffee is beautiful, charming, delightful, wonderful, and lovely. The taste. The scent. The effect. Everything about it. I literally live across Starbucks, so it was always so easy for me to fulfill my addiction for coffee. My favorite coffee drink is Soy Latte.
However…! I recently quit coffee – for the second time in my life…
Why? I felt extremely dehydrated. All the time! I would have a big fatigue crash at the end of the day. I wasn’t on proper sleeping pattern. Worst of all, I was experiencing GERD symptoms – periodic and persistent gagging reflex (For real, it’s so annoying). To sum it all, I was going through all the negative physical effects of high caffeine intake. My body was screaming and pleading to make some changes with my bad habits.
Instead of relinquishing all intake of caffeine, I have decided to adjust to a healthier intake of caffeine than from multiple espresso shots in a latte.
Specifically, green tea. Matcha. When I went through my previous period of quitting coffee, I came to rely on tea. It surely offered a subtle and gradual effect of caffeine. Moreover, I wasn’t experiencing all those negative reactions, anymore. It was a change I need to make.
If you weren’t already aware of the reasons of the matcha craze, it is because green tea has countless numbers of benefits for your body, inside and out.
1. Antioxidant powerhouse – lowers risk of cancer and helps fight against free radicals, which also means it fights against signs of aging! 2. Reduces inflammation 3. Cleanses out toxins 4. Antibacterial properties – battling against acne provoking bacteria 5. Reduces puffy eyes and dark circles 6. Tightens pores
Green tea makes you feel and look beautiful. Now, go enjoy a cup of green tea or a matcha latte as you pamper on some of those greens on your face.
Here are some beauty products with green tea in our curation:
If you are motivated to quit coffee like me, remember that there are way more types of tea you can enjoy. Earl grey, oolong, chamomile, English breakfast, black tea, chai, milk tea, and many more! …Or, just enjoy that cup of coffee – just don’t let it eat you up.
Have you guys tried out the new My Real Squeeze Masks from Innisfree yet? So what's the deal? Let me break it down for you.
The original name of the masks were It's Real Squeeze, and now they are called My Real Squeeze Masks. Also, they changed the packaging a little bit.
What do you think? I personally like the new design much better:)
Oh! and pay attention to the small figures in the corner! Aren't these brilliant?
As you can see, the new My Real Squeeze Masks consist of three types of masks: watery type, essence type, and cream type. I'm not completely positive that the original version has three different types or not, but I think that this is a very thoughtful idea. I personally appreciate small details for I believe when small things gather up, they can make a huge difference.
I was very curious how these three masks were different from one another. So, here you go! I tried all three.
I definitely saw the difference among the three masks. The watery type and essence type were similar, but watery type was a bit lighter on the consistency of the ampoule. The cream type however, was soaked in heavy, rich cream.
Look! Did you know that Innisfree incorporated this Easy-Peel design for the New My Real Squeeze Masks? This was an interesting and convenient invention for sure. Well-done, Innisfree!
Although I only tried three out of many masks they offer, I hope my review was helpful in picking your next mask to try out!
New York’s weather has been extra erratic these days. Just last week, the temperature went above 70’s – in February! The day after, it went down to 30 degrees. Huh..? What am I supposed to prepare for?
These days, I get confused how to prep my skin in the morning. Instead, I’m very preoccupied with recovering my skin through my night routine. But, I’m going to be honest and admit – I’ve been lazy and been slacking off from the ‘one sheet a day’ routine. I was so busy with work, travels, and social life, I’m so drained by the time I get home. When I have only five hours left until the alarm rings for the next morning, there is no way I can fit in 20 mins for a sheet mask. Reality sometimes wins over you. So I’ve started to rely on a fast yet effective alternative method – sleeping masks! More than that, some of my favorite Youtube influencers have been mentioning these two products – LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask and COSRX Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask. So, I was curious and thought it would be fun to try and compare these two products.
I promise it is not because of my bias for COSRX! I do prefer the experience of Laneige – the application, absorption, and cooling sensation. On the other hand, I felt secure with COSRX Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask. On the account that COSRX Rice Overnight Mask’s sensation, I think I will end up reaching out for Laneige during the warmer weathers. The cooling sensation would play that extra asset to calm down heated skin during summer months.
I’ve only been having 5 hours of sleep, in average. Maybe, on some good days, I got to sleep 7 hours. For those who gets 8 hours of sleep would probably have better results for both products. Alrighty~ I hope this comparison review helped you guys figure out which one would work better for you.
Hi M-Friends! It’s been a while since I’ve written a review on sheet masks, so I’m finally back with another review! Today, I’ll be trying Gram’s Double Chemi Ban Ban Sheet Mask.
Ban Ban (반반) directly translates to Half Half. So, this mask is literally separated into two parts: T and U.
T (Pore out mask):
Sebum taping + pore tightening + softening Air-dry sheet: Ultra-light fiber sheet sticks to the skin and delivers active ingredients effectively.
U (Moisture wrapping mask):
Long-lasting + firming + Dewy Honeycomb protection sheet: Sophisticated and strong honeycomb sheet penetrates concentrated ampoule to skin.
First, I washed my face and prepped my skin with a toner. Oh! For the side note, I've beeing using Garnier's micellar cleansing water for about a couple of weeks now, and so far I'm loving it!
The first mask looked very interesting. As described in the back of the package, the hard, green sheet is only the protector for the thin, white mask. I'm going to be using. It was sort of hard to separate the two, because the actual mask was sooo thin! o.O
Then, I put on the second mask on my U-zone. I know what you're probably thinking... "This girl does not know how to properly apply sheet masks! Why is it so crumpled?" I know, but my ezcema gets awful around my upper lip area time to time.. and I have to rip that part of the sheet masks whenever I'm using one. Just to avoid irritaiton.
I had some dry patches and ezcema around my cheeks so I was a bit hesitant to do a review on a new mask. I was worried if using a sheet mask would cause a burning sensation but this mask surprisingly soothed my skin!
About 10 minutes later, the T-zone mask was completely dried up. This thin sheet had perfectly stuck onto my skin, like a peel-off nose mask. When I was pulling it off, it made a crispy sound, which I thought was so crazy XP!
I waited extra 10minutes until I took off the U-zone mask. I was pretty startled at the U-zone mask and how refreshing and soothing it was!
I have never tried Gram's skin care products before, and I would generously give a 4.5 out of 5 for the quality of this mask.
HOWEVER, I do want to mention that after I pulled off the T-zone mask, my forehead and nose area felt a bit too dry. I mean, it's supposed to take out all of your sebum, but my skin being extremely dry and sometimes almost flaky, the T-zone mask was not the best of choice for me. Nonetheless, I want to note that it did not irritate my sensitive skin though. I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone whose skin is not as dry as mine! I think Jae (sensitive and combination skin) would surely love this mask more than I did:) So I went ahead and applied some cream on that area before I went to bed. On the other hand, the U-zone mask did a fantastic job on soothing my dry patches. It has definitely cooled down my skin and soothed irritaiton as well.
I grew up watching Drew Barrymore on the screen. Charlie’s Angels. 50 First Dates. He’s Just Not That Into You. When Charlie’s Angels came out, I wasn’t even ten years old. I cannot believe she is already 42. Talented actress. Strong mother. Founder of beauty, and wine corporations. Seriously!? Wine + beauty = my life. These two things define who I am lol. I declare her as my new role model.
“There is no end to masks. Don’t mess with your face. I’ve not used fillers or tricks yet. So I turn to innovation in skincare and beauty. Let me turn you on to attainable solutions. Be your best YOU.” - Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore loves and respects skin. I really love her philosophy for beauty. Yes, the technology and the quality of the substances matter when it comes to skincare. However, I truly rely on the core beliefs and attitude of the cosmetic leaders. They motivate and inspire their contributing members, and decisively arrange the future of the company’s commodities.
Drew Barrymore established her own beauty brand called Flower Beauty in 2013. In the interest of learning and improving her beauty line, Drew recently had a research trip to Asia. She, not only, has picked up more than knowledge and insight, but she also found a new beauty staple i.e. Jayjun Baby Pure Shining Mask. It wasn’t a big surprise, since Korea really is the motherland of sheet masks and skincare.
“The biggest game changer is, no question, Korean beauty. You get all this amazing moisturizing without the oil. I’ve used really expensive products and really inexpensive products, and most moisturizers break me out. The Korean masks have changed my life. The one I love the most is Jayjun Baby Pure Shining Mask. When I take it off, I look like I got out of a facialist appointment.“ – Drew Barrymore
Her constant adoration of the product, in all likelihood, played a role for her latest collaboration with Jayjun. I was very surprised with the news, but definitely was excited to find out all the details! Just like her favorite Baby Pure Shining Mask, the collaboration masks were all three steps masks, as well.
More than Seanol Wrinkle-care mask “Skin energy presented by the sea” with Ecklonia cava extract.
Steps (1) serum (2) mask (3) eye cream
More than Nutrition Brightening Mask “Skin nutrition presented by super grains” with rice gran, black bean oil, and lentils. Steps (1) cleanser (2) mask (3) cream
More than Green-Tox cleans mask “Skin vitality presented by nature” with lemon, spinach, and broccoli. Steps (1) cleanser (2) serum (3) mask
Gorgeous packaging. Impressive arrangement of cleansers, serums, eye creams, masks, and cream! Hopefully, these masks are not for limited time, and would be available shortly in the states. From what I last heard and checked, all three of the “more than” Jayjun masks are only sold in Korea at the moment. As a beauty junkie, just like Drew, I cannot wait for more and interesting items to come from Jayjun. Crossing my fingers for great new products for our site’s future curations.
Woah is it already February? 1/12 of another year has flew by! It's still pretty cold in New York City, but in a couple of months, spring will be here :) Today, I'll be talking about some new beauty trends of spring and summer 2018! Without further ado, let's get started. Shall we?
Shiny, Glittery, and Glossy Lips
I'm sure you've probably already seen this trend on your instagram feed. For the longest time, matte lips were everywhere. Yeah, I have to admit that I have a ton of matte lipsticks in my collection, but my dry lips were secretly crying out loud. I'm really happy that lip gloss trend is back, better than ever! I personally hated the classic glitter lips for its overwhelmingly unnatural look, but these Kira Kira lip glosses make your lips look luscious and dreamy.
With the matte lips trend, Instagram brows were taking over the internet by storm, for the longest time. I always appreciate clean brows, but ya know. Fake can never beat the natural! I think by this time, a lot of people had enough with the "perfect lips" and "perfect brows", and are now longing to go back to the natural look. I love the full, up-brushed brows, but if you're not blessed with the brow-department, mimicking the brow hair instead of filling them in completely, would do the trick.
Natural Base Makeup and Rosy Blush
I've recently noticed in many celebrities' and beauty gurus' selfies, that they've been using less foundation to achieve real looking skin. Even Kim Kardashian! (I'm pretty sure she doesn't bake her face as much as before). On the other hand, rosy cheeks are seen quite often! I think that rosy blush with bare (or almost bare) skin creates the fresh, innocent, and sun kissed look.
Classic Red Lips
Oh boy! Red lips will never go out of trend. With all other new beauty trends in 2018, red lips can definitely amp up the makeup for more classy and elegant look. I mean, you can never go wrong with signature red lips. Is there any other explanation needed?
Peanut Butter Eyelids
I saved the best for last. "PEANUT BUTTER EYELIDS!" Have you ever heard of it yet? It blew my mind when I discovered them. These are peanut butter inspired eye makeup look that one of my favorite makeup artists, Terry Barberon (@Terrybarberonbeauty) created. Glossy/wet eyelids have newly become popular, so instead of using eyeshadows, Terry Barberon went ahead with a liquid concealer to create this wet peanut butter look.
In spring and summer of 2018, natural look seems to be winning the makeup game overall. I can't wait to try these trends myself, especially the peanut butter eye makeup! :)
Last week, I left New York for 4 days. I went to Los Angeles! All the way from the East to the West. But…I went there for work… Excited and stressed at the same time. Because my skin is so sensitive, I get anxious about not being able to bring my whole vanity with me. Have you ever heard of the phrase, “My home is where my skincare is.” Oh yeah. I wholeheartedly agree a thousand percent. Nevertheless, I needed to tweak my everyday skincare a bit, so I could fit everything in that TSA approved zip bag. Doesn’t the zip bag look so small when you are about to pack? I own so much skincare. How do I work this out? There are some ways I accommodate.
First! I need to see if any of my skincare products come in travel sizes. 1. COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Kit
Oh yes, COSRX. My bias. It comes with three COSRX products – Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser, One Step Pimple Clear Pad, and Holymoly Snail Mask. I would use the cleanser for the morning, and use the exfoliating One Step Pimple Clear Pad in the evening.
COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch
The size of this item is travel friendly on its own. It always stay as my necessity for all of my healing acne wounds.
It’s Skin It’s Top Professional Touch Finish Multi Stick Brush
This merchandise comes with three different types of brushes – blending brush, pencil brush, and angle brush. Instead of brining the whole bulk of brushes, I can just bring this since it’s just a size of one brush. Very handy.
Skinfood Mist Bottle
Since the original merchandises’ sizes tend to be too big for travelling, I need to transfer them into a small bottle. I’ll just pour my everyday toner of choice, COSRX Centella Alcohol-Free Toner, into this little bottle. COSRX toner in Skinfood marked product. LOL!
Banila Co. Clean It Zero Purity
This is my first step for the evening cleanse. The consistency is in a balm texture. So, it is a painless transfer over to a small travel container.
In all honesty, there are some products I tend to use specifically when I’m travelling.
I like to mix and match the JAYJUN masks depending on my mood. If you match certain Jayjun masks together, you can carry all the essential skincare routine. For example, you can bring Real Water Brightening Mask + Baby Pure Shining Mask. This combination will provide cleansing foam, essence, eye cream, and masks to share with your travel buddy. When you bring Anti Dust Therapy Mask + Whitening Mask, this combination will provide cleanser, ampoule, under eye corrector, intensive cream, and masks to share. The pairings are perfect to end your busy day, right. Since you can throw out the package once you’re done, your bags will be lighter on the way back!
Jayjun Real Water Brightening Mask
Step one of Real Water mask is a cleansing foam. Step two is vita snow essence. And, the final step is a sheet mask.
JayJun Baby Pure Shining Mask
Step one of Baby Pure is blooming essence. Step two is the intensive shining sheet mask. Step three is hydro eye cream.
Jayjun Anti Dust Therapy Mask
Step one of Anti Dust Therapy mask is the fresh foam cleanser. Step two is the therapy sheet mask. Step three is the intensive cream.
Jayjun Anti Dust Whitening Mask
Distinctively from the other three Jayjun masks, the first step of Anti Dust Whitening mask is luminous sheet mask. Step two is the luster ampoule. Final step is the Under Eye Corrector.
There are some additional items I would like to suggest for those extra and/or particular situations.Xenoch Party Girl Mini Ceramic Multi Iron
I cannot give up on my hairstyle. Do you know the importance of my hairstyle and the status of my bangs, and how it can really predict my mood for the day? This hair styling tool is compact and practical. This will definitely save some space for your luggage.
Etude House Soonjung Dry Capsule Sheet
Sometimes, the differences in the water content of different states irritate my skin. Has anyone else experience this, too? At those moments, I calm my skin with my toner. It can be very soothing to use your toner as the sheet mask for the day. Not only, it helps to calm down your skin, but it also promotes deeper penetration of the following skincare substances.
What travel plans do you guys have this year? Somewhere far from home? Staycation? Where ever you may be, I hope you will be able to gain new perspectives and experiences. Learn more about yourself and freshen your mind.
Sometimes, that question alone stresses me out. Throughout my life, I always suffered from some kind of conditional problems with my skin. Since the day I was born, I was diagnosed with eczema from head to toe. It was very severe until I graduated high school – always red, inflamed, and scarring. Meanwhile, all the growing adolescent hormones, ugh. Not the best combination for my self-esteem. Right when I got into college (when I thought I was done with all the crazy hormonal activities), I started to get pimples on my face. And now, it is full adult acne. My face is constantly struggling between dry cheeks and oily forehead and chin, with whiteheads, blackheads, and cystic acne. Also to mention, I still have occasional breakouts of eczema. And I can’t exclude out work stress. Coffee has been very supportive to overcome these hours. However, I’ve been very busy with my social life around the holidays, so I wasn’t acing with the lifestyle goals to eat healthy meals and to avoid drinking alcohol. They probably all factor into my deteriorating troublesome skin as well. Every night when I cleanse, and every morning before I cover my skin with the makeup, I have a moment of high peak of stress and self- doubt. Isn’t it so easy to come to the conclusion that your life is falling apart, just by the glance of your skin?
If you guys haven’t figured it out yet, I work in the beauty industry. I’m always surrounded by cosmetic marketing techniques with promises of the magic item that will cure all my skin troubles. Sometimes, many of them look like a genie in a bottle. Rub, rub, rub, and poof, maybe this product will grant my wish of clear skin. In all honesty, that one item of your interest really can be the missing piece in your vanity. But! Because there are so many products out there, and many more waiting to break out into the market, it tends to feel overwhelming at times. So, how do you know? How do you not get stressed out from the thousands of choices? Why do I have to be stressed out from the fact that I’m already stressing out about my skin? Stressing about stresses that were caused by stresses. Oh, the mental life of an emotional, extroverted introvert girl. It takes just few moments to have a full breakout, yet it takes months and maybe years to recover all the damages to your skin. I don’t want to sound pessimistic. Nevertheless, it is the truth.
Why am I mentioning all this? Why am I not just leading you to the products? Because…really…a lot of your skin recoveries has to do more than just the merchandises. It also depends on your motivation, effort, commitment, and knowledge. I work hard every day, and take the time to write these blogs so that you can understand my experience, and feel even a drop of relief or comfort or faith to make that decision to try a product. Because, your skin will change. It can be the weather. It can be because of age. It can be the sun. It can be the stress. It can be the water. It can be the food. You get the idea. Skin can change due to countless number of reasons. Therefore, you will be trying a lot of different skincare products. Optimistically speaking, you will be able to find your steps and learn more about your skin through our curations and blog reviews. Our team really works with determination to curate and discover “your” product (and also mine lol – but seriously, truth).
There are some tips and advices from my experiences at my lows.
1. Know that your skin will change.
It may have changed for the worse now, but it will change for the better.
Skincare is crucial. But, so is your mood. Have some tea. Maybe, some scented candles? I love the aroma. It really helps me to calm down after a long day.
3. Sleep well.
I absolutely adore the MegRhythm Steam Eye Mask. It warms up and soothes my eyes – the eyes that stares at the computer screens and smart phones, all day. Seriously, this steam eye mask is…perfection. I NEED this when I sleep.
4. Moisturize. Moisturize. Moisturize!
You can drink more water. You can put on more of the moisturizing serums and creams. You can try ‘one sheet a day.’ You can routinely spray mists throughout the day. My current favorite is Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Mist. The spray is very fine, so it doesn’t clump on top of my makeup, too!
5. Understand the risks and accept it.
Trying new products may scare you. You should know that there can be a chance of breaking you out, but there is a higher chance that it would help you. All skincare products were researched, tested, and made to improve your life. It will teach you which substances to avoid, and which substances to include in your skincare routine.
6. Stop comparing.
Comparing your tired skin with someone else’s perfect complexion won’t help. I find this step to be the most difficult. But, as you own your skin, it will teach you and direct you to the right path.
Did we share some of the same feelings and struggle?
I know I’m not alone with these problems. Although, I am struggling right now, I know my skin will improve. Crossing my fingers and hoping my new tests of products will not disappoint – currently trying out Skinfood Royal Honey Line.
Have fun. Don’t be a troubled-skin- obsessive monster, but become a healthy beauty enthusiast (since we are here, why not, K-beauty lol).
Take care, Jae Kim
