So before going off to my mandatory military service (around July of 2020), I want to travel alone in the United States for the first time ever. It'll be my first ever travel alone, and I'm stoked even though it's a year away.
But I do have some questions that I need of help.
I'm currently trying to cover 7 cities in a span of around 20-22 days: Start from Incheon, South Korea - Portland (2 days) (SHOULD I GO?) Boston (3 days) New York (4 days) Philadelphia (2 days) Washington D.C. (2 days) Charleston (2 days) Miami (4 days) Back to Incheon
Now that I have covered all this, I am kind of worried that I'm maybe covering a bit too many cities? Out of all of those, Charleston is a must since I have a friend living there and I want to meet him. I'm more into sightseeing and backpacking instead of kind of staying low and resting in a hotel for a long time.
Also, since I am on a budget, I'm planning to stay in cheap hostels in all the cities except for Miami. I want to stay at more of a private hotel there, which is also a problem. I have no idea how to find those hostels.
I'm planning to use Amtrak a lot for traveling inbetween the cities, but maybe some buses stuck in the middle as well.
Overall I only have a really rough plan since I have never planned a trip on my own. But are there any tips that you guys can give to make this really a thing? Thanks in advance!
Have driven across the USA many years ago,but now I am a ‘senior’i don’t fancy it.our plan is to start in New York and make our way south to New Orleans.probably our first stop Baltimore being about 4 hours away?we would like to travel by bus (in the mornings).i have read very negative reviews regarding this mode of transport in the USA? Our aim is to travel around 4 hours a day then stay overnight.i would appreciate any towns or places that you would recommend, does not have to be a large city, just somewhere that have hotels and restaurants, perhaps a bit of character?
Hello! A few friends and I are looking for a fun place to go for new years. We're all juniors in college so we're looking for a fun environment geared towards people our age. So far, we're considering Austin, Dallas, New Orleans, Nashville, Boston, and Chicago. If you can suggest other cities or things to do in any city that would be a great help!
Hello there. I‘m looking for a ship to take me from anywhere in Western Europe ( mainland) to New York. All I found on my internet search were cruise ships that took their time, or ships that would do a loopThere must be one way trips, me thinks. No cargo ships, though. I‘m looking for a ship that would take a direct route, so 5 to 7 days en route, starting e.g. in le Havre or Lisboa. Do you have any suggestions on where I would find such passenger ships? I‘d return in three months time from New York to Europe the same way.
Probably from 6th September til 11th September I will be in Anchorage. Do you think it's real in this time to go to Dawson city and also do some "bear watching" tour?? Do you have some tips how to spend this time in Alaska???I am mostly interested in some nature/wild animals tours ? Thanks! Phx
I want to ride a Limo along with my family. I want to visit Disney World in Orlando. I search for best limo services like Orlando Airport Limo Services but cant be able to know more about them.Any suggestions?

Hello, does anyone know about websites, where I can find links to official hotel sites of any country in one place? I mean , for example, I search for hotels in US and get urls of all US official hotels websites (not booking). If somebody knows such one - please write.
