Today we are looking at 5 Beautiful Wedding Ceremony Arches! Whether you are looking for something simple, colourful, or more extravagant, these might inspire you! Let us know what you think in the comments below! We love to hear from you!

Lavish

The small details of this ceremony arch are very elegant. The flowers, chandelier, and even the umbrellas on the beach look amazing!

Blue Oasis

I think this simple arch with hanging flowers looks lovely. It really brings the focus to the ocean and the blue ribbon on the chairs.

Tropical

If you are going to have a destination wedding somewhere tropical, why not stick to that theme! You can have unique flowers and bright colours that will look incredible.

Pretty in Pink

I really like this option because it’s so cute! If you want your ceremony arch to be girlie and fun than this may be a great choice.

Gazebo

I know, this isn’t an arch but I couldn’t help but include it in here! If you are wanting to save the effort in thinking about how to decorate your arch, it may be beneficial to use the resort gazebo!

Are you ready to look your absolute best on your wedding day? If you had some simple wedding accessories, it could add to your overall look. These are some suggestions that we thought might be perfect! Tell us what you think in the comments below, we would love to hear your feedback!

Rings

When it comes to a destination wedding, wearing more rings are becoming more and more of a trend. If you want to feel even more fabulous, wear rings that will bring out your confidence. If you are having a destination wedding, you can be bolder.

Shoes

Find shoes that look amazing and are comfortable. It seems impossible, but we promise, they are out there! Sometimes it’s fun to pick a different colour rather than white. Have fun with your shoes, and it doesn’t hurt if they have some bling as well!

Veil

Wearing a veil may seem more traditional, but you can have fun with it. Find something with a unique hairpin or material. I personally really like lace but if you want a veil, go for it!

Necklace

Indian wedding jewellery has to be the most stunning! I love the combination of red and gold, and she looks like absolute royalty. The statement necklace with the matching earrings is breathtaking.

Belt

What I love about having a belt is that it can be very flattering. You can accent your hips and get one that has jewels and colours that will add something unique to your wedding dress.

Headband

Lastly, if you are looking for something even more special, why not a headband? You can find a vast amount that ranges from simple to more complex. If you are looking to add something to your hair, this could be the perfect accessory!

Summer is here! We wanted to celebrate by showing off some fantastic Summer Destination Wedding Dresses. If you are looking for some inspiration for your wedding dress, hopefully, these will help. Tell us in the comments what you think!

Full Lace with an Open Back

How beautiful is this dress? This dress would be perfect for a destination wedding because it’s open, free, and you won’t overheat. You will also find that this will show off your figure amazingly!

Simple A-Line

If you are looking for a simple dress, this is a great option. It is not only flattering but elegant. The lace, spaghetti straps, and flowing train will have everyone in awe over you. Plus, with a simple dress, you can fun with the accessories.

Strapless

When it comes to a strapless dress, I like this option a lot. You can wear your hair any way you want, dress it up or down with accessories, and still feel supported with the right fit. Make sure that you find a dress that makes you feel comfortable and that you can dance in with no problem!

Short and Strapless

Now, for summer destination wedding dresses, you have to include a short option. I usually don’t prefer short dresses but how gorgeous is this one? It’s fun, playful, and talk about comfortable. Destination weddings are all about having a great time in the sun with your friends and family, and this dress could be the perfect one to do that in!

Two-Piece

Something that is trending at the moment is two-piece dresses. I like to suggest this type of dress if you are looking for something more casual. Don’t be fooled, and you can still make a two-piece dress very elegant.

Unique Lace

Lastly, if you want a dress that stands out, look for something with a unique lace pattern. Another trending dress style is having lace everywhere with a little more revealing than usual. I think you can get away with showing a little bit more at a destination wedding!

When it comes to unique bridesmaid dresses, you might find you’re stuck on some ideas. Today we have some great options that your girlfriends will love and will bring an extra flair to your beautiful destination wedding. Let us know what your favourite one is or send us a picture of your unique dresses!

Floral with Different Cuts

A prevalent trend that is going on at the moment is giving your bridesmaids different dresses. What I like about this idea is that, usually, friends have different shapes and sizes when it comes to their bodies. This option might be excellent for all of your girls to look beautiful and festive.

Sparkly Rose-Gold

I like this idea if you are looking for something shiny. When you have a destination wedding, you can get away with almost anything for your bridesmaids. If your wedding is about having fun and letting loose with your friends, this might be a great dress!

Different Colours

If you are thinking about having multiple colours for your bridesmaids, make sure they are colours that blend. Talk to your bridesmaids and share your idea, you might be surprised at how many girls either want the same colour or are entirely excited about picking their own.

Boho Chic

I love these dresses! You don’t have to make your girls wear ugly dresses, that is such a myth! The colour scheme is also very stunning because they will match your dress perfectly. Give your girls some lovely accessories to bring out the boho goddess in your best friends.

Two-Piece

No, I’m not talking about swimsuits! This dress is a really fun idea for your bridesmaids because you probably have never seen a two-piece bridesmaid dress before. If you are having your destination wedding in a hot location, this might be a great idea for something light and easy for them to move around in on the dance floor!

When it comes to planning a destination wedding, you can feel a little stressed. My advice is to take a break and start planning your Bachelorette Party! There are a variety of ways you can plan your party. You can do it before your destination wedding, on the way to it, or when you arrive. This blog is going to be a short guide to how to plan the best bachelorette party! If you have any additional questions or need extra advice, please feel free to contact us, and we would be happy to help!

Time

So the first thing you have to ask yourself when planning your Bachelorette Party is when you are going to have it! If you are planning a destination wedding, you could have it before, on the way, or there! Picking the time is essential, you want to consider cost, weather, and all the activities you plan on doing for it! Write down your ideal Bachelorette Party, and the answer will become more clear.

Location

Once you have decided when your Bachelorette Party is going to be, you want to find the best place. From my experience, don’t just go to a local bar and wing it. Plan it out and leave room for some spontaneity. Whether it’s a beach party, concert, strip club, or significant event that you can celebrate with all of your girls, find somewhere that’s going to be busy and fun. You want to celebrate with your friends but also get a little attention while doing it.

Activities

Now, you have to decide what kind of Bachelorette Party you want for yourself. If you want a lovely relaxing time with you girls, I suggest having it at your resort before your destination wedding. You can spend the day at the spa, pools, and even take a boat out for some alone time with your friends. If you are looking to have a big blowout party, make sure you have some great stuff planned that will give you the best “last night” ever!

Attire

Something that I love about Bachelorette Parties is the fun outfits. If you want to make it simple for yourself and your friends, you wear white, and they wear black. Comparatively, if you want it to be a little more extravagant, have matching accessories such as hats, drinking glasses, t-shirts, and whatever else you can think of for all of you! You want to feel special and have a great time, so wear what makes you feel the best.

Advice

When it comes to your Bachelorette Party, you may feel entirely comfortable or a little worried about your partner’s party during your own. The primary goal you should focus on is having fun and not putting too much pressure on yourself to go all out. If you have your activities planned, outfit ready, and the perfect location, you are going to have a great time no matter what. Enjoy your time with your best friends!

If you have ever been a bridesmaid, you know that it’s fun at times, and can be stressful other times. Today we have some secrets to being a bridesmaid that might help ensure that you and the bride have the best time together. Let us know in the comments below if you have any experience being a bridesmaid!

ALWAYS Offer to Help the Bride with ANYTHING

When it comes to secrets to being a bridesmaid, this has to be number one. The maid of honour is sometimes busy with organizing things before the ceremony or helping the wedding planner. Make sure you can help in any way possible.

Do Your Best to Be Low Maintenance

In my experience, I’ve seen a bride get a little worried about some of her bridesmaids. If you are getting your hair and makeup done, have pictures ready and keep it as simple as possible so you aren’t taking up too much time with the artist.

Don’t Be Afraid to Be on Your Good Side for Pictures

Ladies, you know what I am talking about when it comes to pictures. We all know that one side is better than the other for photos, so, make sure you run to the right side when photos are about to start. The only time you shouldn’t care is if you’re on your good side is when it’s with the bride for individual pictures, good luck trying to get the bride to switch.

Watch How Much You Drink

Sometimes when you start getting ready early in the day, it can be easy to start celebrating with your friends. You don’t want to drink too much when you have to walk down the aisle! Slow down, and make sure you keep an eye on how much you are drinking but still have fun!

Eat!

The moment that there is food at the reception, start eating as much as you can. Once the music starts and the bar is open, you won’t want to eat anymore! Eat at the beginning to get through the night so you can remember the night.

Pick the Right Shoes

Coordinate with the bride and the other girls when it comes to picking shoes. You don’t want to pick heels or flats that will either make you look too tall or short in pictures. One of the best things about a destination wedding is that after photos, you can run back to the room and grab shoes to dance in!

Accessories

Lastly, don’t forget about accessories. Unfortunately, I completely forgot to grab some cute matching earrings, bracelets, rings, or even a little clutch. I was unprepared, so make sure you don’t go overboard but have something simple to make your dress standout!

Welcome to our Resort of the Month Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort. This feature is particularly unique because Liz and I went on a site inspection with the lovely events coordinator there, Leslie Chavez. She took us around the property highlighting some beautiful options for a destination wedding. Today, we are going to give you 9 Wedding Facts About Secrets Puerto Los Cabos.

Spring is the High Wedding Season

Did you know that the most popular time to get married at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is April, May, and June according to Leslie? What I love about this area is that the weather is always going to be beautiful, so if you want to have a little more privacy or come during a low season, you are still going to have a stunning wedding here.

The Wedding Gazebo Area is the Most Popular Location

When you see the wedding gazebo, you will understand why brides love it so much. The palm trees, flowers, and the ocean in the background create a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony. The area can also fit a maximum of 200 people. However, Leslie told us that even with 90 people, you have plenty of space for chairs.

They Have an Average of 70 Weddings a Year

Leslie was telling us that 80% of the weddings that they have here are Americans, about 12% are Canadians, and the rest is Mexican. What is so great about flying to Los Cabos is that if you have guests flying from the West Coast, the flights are short and direct.

The Best Time for Your Wedding Ceremony is Before Sunset

So, Leslie was telling us that she always recommends to her brides that they have their wedding ceremony an hour and a half before the sun goes down. That way, you have plenty of time for your celebration, and when you go to take pictures, the sun will be setting.

The Barracuda Terrace the Most Popular for Wedding Receptions

I am obsessed with this terrace. It was being rebuilt at the time of our visit so I couldn’t capture the entire area, but it was a large, free-standing terrace, directly on the beach. They can fit up to 100 people, with a bar, dance floor, and is very private. I would highly recommend this location!

There are Beach and Garden Options for Your Wedding

Furthermore, Leslie took us around to all of their garden and beach options for a destination wedding. What I loved about the idea of having a reception at one of their gardens is she was saying they can get creative with the decor. She explained that in the past they had put lights in the palm trees to create a very romantic setting. They have plenty of space for bands, a bar, and close to the main lobby.

They have Incredible Wedding Packages

You will find that resort chains such as Secrets have great wedding packages depending on your budget. Individual packages will include everything you need to make things a little bit easier when it comes to your location, decor, food, and drinks. You can look at them in more detail here, but Leslie also told us if there is something that you want to be upgraded, such as chairs, they have great partners to find exactly what you want! She is so accommodating and wants to help make your dream wedding a reality.

Want Something Indoor? They Have a Ballroom

Leslie took us to the large indoor ballroom where they can host weddings and provided linens (whatever colour you want). She said it isn’t as popular of choice but can still be done. What I liked about it is that if you’re going to have an ample space inside to decorate, this location would be perfect.

There is a Nightclub for Afterparties

So, after the reception, if the wedding guests are still wanting to keep the party going, they have a lounge with a DJ available. There is a bar, dance floor, and is perfect for the guests looking to celebrate. It’s open from 10:30 pm until 1:00 am. Also, it’s close to the garden reception options so you won’t have to walk far!

Conclusion

Overall, this massive resort is a magnificent place for a destination wedding. One thing that I didn’t mention was the excellent Spa and Golf options for your guests. The spa is fully equipped with a bridal suite, and the golf course surrounds the resort. So if you are looking for a beautiful and fun place for your wedding, these 9 Wedding Facts About Secrets Puerto Los Cabos hopefully convinced you that this is resort might be the perfect location!

There are many fantastic things I can say about Sandos Finisterra in beautiful Los Cabos. Whether you are whale watching from this beachfront location, enjoying a drink while watching the sunset, or getting married to the person you love in such a romantic setting, you will be glad you stayed here. Let me give you some substantial reasons why our Resort of the Month Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos could be perfect for your destination wedding.

1. There is Something for Everyone

When it comes to picking a resort, you want to find one that fits your guest list needs. The great thing about this particular resort is that it caters to couples and families. There are non-stop activities that will keep the children and adults entertained for your entire stay! Definitely, a bonus when you want to have some alone time with your partner.

2. Amenities

Now, when it comes to the rooms, you are going to find out there are plenty of options. There are connecting rooms, ocean view, and deluxe suites that will ensure you enjoy every moment of this stunning property. Once you are ready to leave the room, enjoy plenty of a la carte and buffet options which also make ideal places for a reception!

3. Fun

This section may count as amenities, but I think it should get its own category. You can stay fit at the fitness center, receive the ultimate luxurious treatments at the spa, or play tennis or volleyball with newfound friends. When it comes to romance, you can have a torch-lit dinner on the beach with your loved one or go on fun excursions in the region.

4. Your Wedding

Finally, the most important aspect of picking the resort. Your wedding. What I love about this resort is that because it is newly renovated and destination weddings are growing more popular, there are some incredible places to have your ceremony. Not to mention the perfect backdrop for your wedding pictures. Once you get there, the wedding coordinator is going to make sure that you have the stress-free wedding that you have always wanted.

If you haven’t heard about Save the Date Beauty, that means you haven’t been reading our blog! We did an introduction feature on this company a few months ago, and we couldn’t wait any longer to write another. Today, we are showcasing some incredible pictures from a photo shoot that they did in Playa del Carmen. Now, as you look through the beautiful images, make sure you read the 5 Reasons Save the Date Beauty Loves Playa del Carmen.

Save the Date Beauty

Facebook | Website | Instagram | Twitter

The Location

Firstly, our incredible photographer Adrian of Dean Sanderson Weddings whisked us out of the center of Playa del Carmen to the much more tranquil destination of Xcalacoco Beach.

The Beach

A beautiful white-walled winding pathway with tropical plants amidst little resting areas lead to a gorgeous blond sand beach. Also, the peaceful beach was quiet and calm as the sunset in the distance.

Beauty

Our stunning model Saabrina Wehner wore an effortlessly pretty lace bodysuit and flowing breezy skirt by Kathryn Bass Bridal, a long lace gown with keyhole cut out by Pure Magnolia and vintage silk black slip from Far Out Vintage complemented by the vivid colours of Phaulet’s kimonos and printed scarf.

Inspirational

The inspiration for the styling was natural, beachy, easy beauty, focusing on loose waves, with wild floral details and golden highlights on the eyes and cheeks, keeping the eyes bright and soft.

Perfection

Lastly, we went for a pop of colour on the lips to highlight the tones in Phaulets pieces. In conclusion, the amazing beaches of Playa del Carmen, Mexico make the perfect backdrop for the perfect destination wedding for all those natural beauty boho brides.
