Kim’s love of family history began as a child while listening to her great-grandmother tell stories of her uncle who, as a boy, ran down the streets of Springfield, Illinois dragging sticks along white picket fences with Abraham Lincoln’s son, Tad. She received a family history research degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and really enjoyed all the different projects she got to research as a Legacy Tree intern. After graduation Kim joined our team as a project manager, and gets as excited as her clients do as the discoveries unfold.

When Robert's family shared stories about past generations and visited ancestral hometowns they sparked an eagerness in him for genealogical discovery. This eagerness developed into a career path as he completed a bachelor's degree in Family History-Genealogy and earned the Accredited Genealogist credential before receiving a master's degree in history. One of the most stimulating aspects about genealogy for Robert is gathering and arranging evidence to construct a strong argument about family relationships. Robert enjoys teaching genealogy methods and skills, volunteering in the professional community, and reading history.
