On today’s show, we talk with Travis Kukovich. Travis is the owner of William Travis Jewelry. He is a fifth generation metalsmith and the son of Polish immigrants.

He started his own metalsmithing business out of his garage and now operates a storefront that’s more than 2,000 square feet!

But his journey has been anything but easy. An accident in early childhood left him unable to read and write, while a showdown with breast cancer threatened his life in later years. He has nevertheless used these experiences to empower him on his journey. Travis has been recognized with many industry awards and has used his platform to advance causes including women’s empowerment and a living wage.
