It’s been long since I have updated a post under the crochet. We had a tightly packed winter vacation, and being busy in upgrading our works I was unable to update a post. To have a look on our winter vacation do check out our channel.
I tried these snowflakes in different colors to bring unique effect of Christmas. Click on the following picture on how to make the snow flake.
A very big hai to everyone who are following my blog posts. It’s been long since I have updated my post on crochet works. For the past few days I was busy in writing my new posts on #hyperemesis_gravidarum and #learning_along_with_innus. A small step to create awareness on hypermesis gravidarum. If you are new to the blog do check out our previous posts.
Today let’s have a short description of the pink set, I made for a newborn baby.
Let’s start with the making of booties. Since i had the pattern for newborn baby with hook size 4mm, I ought to change the pattern for 3.5mm. Upon altering some stitches I received the size of the booties.
Then comes the cap or beanie. For the cap I just used two different stitches. They are double crochet and front post double crochet.
To learn the types of stitches…

Then comes the frock. The frock is a derived version of halter tops and I used the above two stitches and the one below.

Hope you have got the stitches behind the baby set. I will try to write the pattern behind the set in future post.
A very big hai to everyone who are following my blog posts. Hope you are all following my previous posts on mix and match series. Today let’s have a glance on mix and match series along with the advent preparations. For the summer, I designed a poncho using red heart thread to have a unique look and to go along with the tie up skirt and black tank tops. See you soon on another mix and match series
A very big hai to everyone who follow my crochet works. From the pic you could have found the idea of today’s post. Yes, it’s about the crochet wear of my princess.
Every mom will become a fashion designer when they have a princess in their life. Being an Information Technology engineer by graduation my little daughter Innus, made me a fashion designer, by passion. For those who follow my blog you are familiar that the art is traveling down our ancestral line from my grandma, and recently I found out that my great grandma too does all kinds of crafts, and this might be an inborn gift from them.
So let’s move on to the picture which I have added in the post. My love for making her unique made me to try some unique outfits under the hashtag mix and match. The weather in Germany made us to have matching caps and cowls to escape the weather.
The picture was captured on iPhone 5s during a barbeque among our Tamil families. Innus was just months old. A mom will remember their kid’s actions from day one and they try their level best to cherish them. To more about our journey with her click on the following pic.
For people who are suffering from hypermesis gravidarum do check out our post on the hashtag hypermesis gravidarum. Since its hard for them to have even single cup of water during their pregnancy. Do check the way we managed to avoid the condition of hospital admission. If you find it may be useful for someone do share with #saveagirlfromhg
A very warm welcome to everyone who are following up my posts.
Today’s post is quite different from my regular posts. Yes, a small makeover of the pattern from a crochet group into a cap.
The pic below will make you to land on the page which am talking about.
The group holds people from around the globe who are fond of crocheting. They upload the patterns which needed testers and the patterns reach the one who agree testing. That’s how I came across the floral pattern in the cap. While testing I requested the crafter who designed the pattern for converting the pattern into a cap. For converting it into a cap I just used the stitches which I used in the pink tops of my mix and match series.
A mom will become a fashion designer for her princess, and that became true for me too.. I love mixing the outfits to bring up some unique attire, so that we will become the heart of the crowd.
Today’s pic is obtained by mixing a crochet top and a trouser. The pic also comes under our treasure hunt series. My little princess found those shoes during her treasure hunt from my boxes of treasure. Yes, those little shoes served me too…
One of the best scene near the river Neckar is the buildings facing the river Neckar and the island Platanenalle. The river forms a small island which holds the maple trees. The island will give you the best scene during fall weather as the leaves turn red before falling.
Hai to everyone. Its been long since I posted under this topic. Today it’s all about mixing and matching the stuff to have a unique look.
Though am not a fashion designer by profession, I love trying unique stuff for my little princess. Its not in the branded outfit or the makeup you wear for standing out of the crowd. As we all know fashion industry follows the crowd. So being unique among the people can be achieved by either spending too much or wearing the outfits which are out of the trend.
My little one is quite lucky since I try something in crochet, matching her outfit.
Today’s pic is from her mix and match collection, which includes a T shirt from Tom tailor and a staccato denim skirt from jette which flew from Germany. To complete her look I added a pair of shoes from firstcry and a beanie cap which I tried using anchor knitting cotton from pradhan embroidery stores.
Hope you will try something unique like this. For more such ideas view post under the heading mix and match.
A very warm wishes to you all who are following my posts…
Today, the post is again for the tag mix and match series. The above pic is from our colachal beach visit during our Indiantrip. The beach is located near our home town, so we planned a day visit to the beach to add up the location in my little ones travel jar. For more detailed view on our travel jar click on the pic below
The jar is full and now we are in search of cute jars for our next visits…
Ok, back to the topic of today’s post…
For my summer lookbook I selected the pink tops which I made with red heart mercerised cotton from shailesh pradhan. Check out the link for the pink tops….https://www.iniyaworld.com/crochet-prinky-tops/
I combined the pink tops with a sleeveless tops from Levi and a black shrug from pothys, with the black Levi jeans. To finish up the look I added esprit sneakers with an ankle length socks.
Though I prefer back pack for holding stuffs for my princess, I use the red kipling hand bag.
A very big hai to everyone who are following my blog posts. Hope you are all familiar with the term crochet from my previous posts.
During my last update I received a query stating “how can we mix and match crochet wear with our regular outfits”. And to answer the query form my favourite friend am going to update you all with my next series posts. The answer will be under the tag mix and match series.
The following pic is what I have chosen for my mix and match series. There is a constant myth prevailing among the crowd….”people who love being trendy spend huge amount on shopping “. The posts under this tag can prove that the statement is wrong.
The mix and match can be done as above.
To prove the statement wrong we ought to calculate amount spend.
Cap= mercerised cotton yarn from kaufland (4euros)
Scarf= yarn from wolle rödel (6 euros)
A tee and skirt= (10 euros)
Crochet skirt = cotton yarn from Lidl (8 euros)
To go along with the weather I combined it with woodland jacket, esprit shoes with ankle length socks.
I had this look for both initial summer and fall weather with jacket, and for peek summer I just avoided the jacket and cowl.
Note…. am not a spender of cosmetics so people who do peculiar makeup can add up with the outfit.
