This couple session in Venice was really magic and amazing!
Couple session, also called engagement sessions, are a photo shoot to do before wedding day. No matter how far in advance they are taken, the important thing is that they take place before the big day.
This couple will really get married in a very short time. They has reached Venice after a lot of kilometers from Switzerland to this romantic Italian city.
The joy that shines through the eyes of couples while we photograph them during this kind of photo shoot is unique. Their expressions contain all the excitement of those who are preparing to take a great step. At the same time include a unique and particular carefree attitude.
I wrote it on our Instagram account when I shared a preview of their couple session in the rain and I firmly believe: “It was surreal, challenging and magical at the same time. Because the important thing is to draw the positive aspect and the advantage from every situation, even from a day when it has not stopped a second to rain. You might be amazed by the effect of this way of looking at things. “

How magical can a winter wedding on the top of a mountain be?
This couple has really realized their dream … they wanted to exchange their vows and celebrate with friends and relatives in one of the places they love most: Mount Lussari in Tarvisio.
And so it was! The first part of the day was characterized by a dense and suggestive fog and when we approached the time of sunset, we began to see the mountains, even more spectacular thanks to that unique atmosphere! To give that extra touch, the couple adorned all the fences of the shelter where they celebrated with lights. The result? Pure magic!
It was possible to perceive perfectly how the couple was in harmony with that place. They were happy, carefree and ready to party with their friends! Seeing so much harmony, complicity and affection is always a pleasure.
The sound of footsteps muffled by the snow on one side, the music blaring on the other, the peace that a mountain panorama is able to give … are all ingredients for that day of relaxation and joy that the bride and groom had wanted.

Italian wedding is a dream. Italy is a country full of wonderful landscapes, ancient traditions and excellent food and wine. Many couples, coming from all over the world, choose Italy to get married and among the preferred territories of the couples there is certainly Tuscany. This region offers wonderful expanses of meadows cultivated with vineyards, and winding hills. The intimate atmosphere that reigns in his villas is perfect for celebrating your italian wedding in total relaxation and with the right intimacy.
We, as photographers, have the good fortune to visit places like these and to tell the love stories of couples in this splendid panorama. A few days ago, we had the pleasure of being invited by the owners of Villa Buonvisi for an Inspiration wedding day, in which industry professionals had the opportunity to exchange experiences and opinions. Being chosen to participate in this event was truly an honor for us. In this villa we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of peace and relaxation typical of these places and enjoy the beauties that both nature and industry professionals have been able to create. Beautiful floral arrangements have adorned this historic villa making it even more welcoming and elegant. We spent two stimulating and inspiring days … the right extra charge to face this exciting and intense wedding season.
Each couple has its place of heart and that of Gabriella and Andrea was Venice. It was a beautiful sunny spring day and the city was full of tourists. So, we had fun taking unknown roads, getting lost in the calle of Venice, admiring really suggestive views and discovering areas never seen before. The beauty of this city is just that … getting lost to discover new wonders! This photo shoot in Venice has been a continuous discovery.
Afternoon light filtered through the buildings and created truly irresistible plays of light. You could breathe a typical spring air and being in the sun was very pleasant. Time literally flew by! In Venice it always happens this way: between one calla and the other and a bridge and the other, the minutes run at their own speed!
We show you some photos taken during this photo shoot in Venice and at the end of the post, if you wish to see more, you can find the slideshow!

Who has never had the opportunity to visit Burano, do it! Take a free day and lose yourself in the colorful streets of this country, admiring the combinations and the multitude of colors of the facades of the houses. You can imagine how exciting it is to do a Burano photoshoot.
After the ups and downs to reach the island, as soon as you dock with the ferry you can already admire the first colorful houses that are just a taste of what awaits the tourist as soon as he takes the first road.
Getting lost in the streets while you are looking for a specific color is very easy and the inspirations are certainly not lacking. There are really nice views that deserve to be savored. It almost seems to be in a parallel reality as far as this place is unusual.
Anna and Mauro had never visited it and it was a great discovery … anyway, how can you not be fascinated by such a beautiful place? Now I show you some photos taken from their photo shoot in Burano.

This is my favorite season and it’s also a great time to have a spring engagement session before the weather starts to get too hot!
The days begin to lengthen and a splendid sun offers breathtaking sunsets. This couple has chosen this time of the year also for the wedding that will take place in a decidedly different setting than the engagement photos (I won’t tell you anything else!).
They were moments of relaxation and light-heartedness, in which to laugh and talk about wedding day … and even fantasize a little!
Below we show a selection of images taken that day about this spring engagement session, but if you want to see more, click on the Play button in the video at the end of the post!

Today I want to tell you about this romantic engagement session that took place in Slovenia, by the sea, with a simply splendid sunset light.
In some cases it happens that the bride and groom, while preparing to do their photo shoot, are a little scared from what will happen. In reality, after not even five minutes, the couple understood our approach during the shooting phase and relaxes, letting go to the emotions that the moment feels.
Accompanied by a warm and golden light, this couple enjoyed that time spent together, in total carelessness and extreme spontaneity.
At the end of the post, you will find a video in which you will be able to see more photos than the ones I will illustrate below … this is another new of this year and we are curious to know what you think!

I will tell you the story of this mountain wedding proposal.
We love taking pictures of wedding proposals. The reactions are always different from the other … there are those who start jumping on the spot, those who scream and those who remain breathless and speechless, as in this case.
Max had been planning this surprise for months. When we met to talk about the details, he told us that he wanted to give his girlfriend a photo shoot gift and that he would propose to marry her on that occasion! It had to be all top secret.
Linda had the desire to have some photos of them in the mountains, surrounded by an enchanting snowy landscape … so why not surprise her in surprise? The location remained a secret until that morning and Linda’s eyes already read immense happiness. We had thought of everything … we just had to wait for the perfect moment. So with the excuse of positioning ourselves in a certain way, we made sure Linda turned her back on Max. It was time.
A warm sun lit them, an extremely pleasant temperature, a breathtaking view around us. When she turned around and saw her boyfriend kneeling, with the ring glistening in the box, she was literally breathless and speechless. It was an incredible moment, so intimate and full of meaning. This is why I believe that such a moment deserves a memory, because it is the beginning of something wonderful.
Celebrating the wedding at the Castle of San Giusto in Trieste is a great way to be immersed in the history of the city while admiring the splendid view of the Gulf.
This couple had chosen to marry a few days before Christmas and that magical atmosphere typical of this period has helped make that day even more engaging.
They were beaming and their smiles showed the impatience of meeting and exchanging promises and at the same time, there was the tension of someone taking a big step. I find it unbelievable the way love makes it possible to provoke emotions apparently so conflicting with each other and I say apparently, because in reality, in their heart, the desire was only one and it was common.
The bride, above her dress, had a beautiful hooded cloak that conveyed an incredible feeling of warmth and softness. Needless to say that when the groom saw her, he was speechless and breathless!
It was a very heartfelt and engaging day, made up of hugs, smiles and sweetness with the peculiarity of having taken place entirely after sunset. An unusual choice that, however, in my opinion, was apt and perfect for their idea of wedding.
This is important. The whole day of the wedding, from the choice of the dress to the location, should reflect the couple, their history and their way of being, to make them feel fully at ease and to fully realize their dream. And I can assure you that for this couple, it was their big day.
