Congratulations on buying your own house. However, I’m sorry to tell you that this is just the beginning. After numerous visits to the bank, going through multiple official papers, and getting ahold of your finances, you still have lots to do.

The first thing that you must have is cleaning supplies. When you move into your new house, there will be places that haven’t been cleaned properly.
If you are a clean freak like me, you would not be satisfied unless you have cleaned every nook and cranny with your own two hands. That is why you should have all the necessary cleaning items, such as a vacuum cleaner, cleaning spray, towels, detergent, window cleaner, etc.
Whenever you move to a new place, you never know what the insect situation may be. However, you should make sure that the insecticides or pest repellent that you use are marked to be used indoors.
You should also know how to use the insect repellents as they come in different forms such as sprays and dust. For example, if you have an ant infestation, you should buy a safe indoor spray and also know how the ant sprays work.
Another thing that you will need once you have started moving is a toolbox and all the essentials that go with it. For example, nails, hooks, etc. There are going to be numerous things you need to hang on the walls and if you have a toolbox at your disposal, you can start hanging them as soon as you move.
Otherwise, they will be lying around the house. If you have young children, this can lead to a number of possible disasters.
After all the moving and cleaning, you are bound to end up in the shower. That won’t be possible if you don’t have the bathroom essentials that you may need. You need to have your toilet paper, towels, rugs, shower curtains, cleaning essentials, and toiletries. You need to make sure to pack them, so you don’t have to end up in an uneasy situation.
Curtains and Extra Lights
When you move into a new house, you may also need curtains and additional lighting. You don’t want the neighbors peeping through the windows and seeing you cleaning your mess. It’s better to put on the curtains before getting started.
Extra lights are also essential. It can never hurt to keep a few bulbs at hand as they are sure to come in handy sooner or later in the moving process.
A Location List
Last but not least, make a list of what you are packing and the things that you pack together. Not only can this be a great deal of help while unpacking, but it can also be a checklist that helps you know what is missing. Try to pack things that are supposed to be together in the same box so you can do one thing at a time without much hassle.

Manifesting what you want in your life takes work.
First, you need to step back and reflect on your life and identify what you truly want. Nothing can happen unless you put your mind to it and take action. Sounds pretty easy, but having positive thoughts or feelings every day can be harder than it sounds.
So, how do you attract positivity?

The Law of Attraction is a universal principle which states that we can attract whatever we focus on. It’s the power our brain has that’s able to translate our wants and desires and turn them into our reality.
So, if we focus on feeling anxious, frustrated or stressed, then we send out negative energy into the universe. But, if we focus on feeling happy, excited, and appreciative, then we send out positive energy. This type of positive energy attracts the same energy back to us and makes it easier to achieve the goals we set.
So, do you wake up thinking, “I can’t do it, I’ll fail”? Or are you thinking, “I want it, I’ll choose it, I’ll do it”?
These thoughts and feelings you may be having, either positive or negative, create your state of being. Your brain will respond to both energy vibrations.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t choose the best one for you. It only relays the energy that you are creating and gives you more of the same. Because these energy waves attract the same energy you give back to yourself, you’d want to make sure that you are sending out thoughts and feelings that resonate with what you want.
What is Manifestation?
Manifesting is choosing to create what you want. By intentionally creating what you want, you are believing that you can bring anything forth into your physical reality by using your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. You can use the Law of Attraction to manifest anything you want. This could be happiness, love, money, and success.
But you can also manifest negativity without knowing it.
You may not be aware of it, but you are constantly manifesting your life experiences. Everything that you have experienced can be tracked to your thoughts and feelings you consciously and subconsciously have practiced in the past.

Why Can’t I See Results?
Maybe you’ve tried to apply the Law of Attraction into your life…only to fail at manifesting what you want and never seeing your thoughts actually come true.
It’s difficult to manifest what you want when you are still focused on your present circumstances. For example, I may feel poor and try my hardest to manifest money and success. This is not a bad thing to want, but it’s harder for me to imagine what it feels like to have my wish fulfilled if I’m obsessing over not having enough money at the moment.
We have to allow ourselves to imagine our future and pull the positive energy into our lives. If we try to manifest positivity when we feel stressed, annoyed or angry, then we are unknowingly manifesting that negative energy…Oops!
People are not aware that they are responding to their pre-existing environment that is keeping them in the same mood, feelings, and experiences.
You want to make sure you are in a good emotional state. You don’t want to confuse the universe with wanting something positive, but feeling and thinking negatively. The Law of Attraction is universal and it’s going to work with or without you.
So, why not take control of what you’re attracting and make that change?
The foundation of manifestation is to believe that it works. It’s important to take time to think about where you are in your life right now and where you want to be. Once you have a clear idea of what you want, your brain can prepare your mind and connect those thoughts to your actions. You just have to work hard, trust in your work, and ask the universe.
Now that you understand manifestation, here are 4 steps you can use to start:
Step 1: Clear your mind. When you clear your mind, you are then able to focus specifically on what is important to you. An easy way to clear your thoughts is through deep breathing. We breathe subconsciously, but take the time to close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths in, and exhale out until there is no oxygen left in your lungs. This can help you become present in the moment and calm anxious thoughts.

Step 2: Write down your goals. Writing down your goals will help you solidify the dreams and feelings you want to achieve into your subconscious mind. When you write your goals down, try changing “would like to” to “will”. For example, “I will get that promotion at the end of the year.” The power of “will” can help you feel positive feelings of excitement, motivation, and happiness.
Step 3: Visualize your goals. Picture yourself already achieving your goal. What emotions will you be feeling? What will you be wearing? Where will you be standing? Who will you be with?
Visualizing your future will serve as a great reminder of what you want. Something that can help you visualize your goals is by creating a vision board. You could start by going through magazines and finding pictures or words that resonate with your desires. Put all of your pictures and words on a board and place it somewhere you can see it everyday. By doing this, you are putting real energy and commitment on what you truly want.
Step 4: Take action. Now that you know how to attract positive energy, you can take action and start manifesting. You may feel scared or worried about failing, but choosing to take action will only get you closer to manifesting your goals. Just remember to clear your mind, write your goals, visualize them, and take the actions necessary to get closer to reaching your goals.

Trying to force something to manifest simply doesn’t work. If you say, “Universe, I want to be a billionaire” without taking the steps to become closer to that goal, then you may not see it come true. As you continue to work towards manifesting in your life, you will notice the small changes in your behavior, attitudes, and actions. These are just a few examples of how you can take your ideas, choose to live it, and manifest it in your life.

Every day, I find myself saying things like, “I’m glad I chose to go on this trip”, or “This was the biggest mistake I’ve ever done”. And I try so hard to get things right and avoid all the wrongs — including making bad decisions in life.
The thing is, I really just don’t want the consequences of my decisions to turn into a Friday the 13th horror movie that people talk about for years.
I mean, imagine having a great business idea but then making the wrong decision on how to execute it. The business would tank royally and I would be so embarrassed. The family will not stop yammering about how I blew all our cash and failed in a blaze of glory. Let’s not mention the cushy previous job with decent pay that I would have to leave to make this come true.
So you end up frozen, not wanting to make the wrong move. And yet, not making a move then guarantees not that the wrong decision will be made, but that the right one won’t ever happen.
I once wanted so badly to reach out to a VIP for my business but started thinking about how unprepared I would be if I do it then. So, I waited. I thought I’d be ready a couple of days or even a few weeks later.
Then, one day I was skimming through my notes to look for something completely unrelated and found: “Call X”. It was dated three years prior to the day I found that old note! Three years ago!
I never did win his business.
So, how do we stop making the wrong decision without self-sabotaging?
Read, write, and repeat long before you ever need to
Many people believe that luck is when preparation meets opportunity. What’s interesting is that the evidence for this is right in front of our eyes: our own experience.
The other day, my daughters went to their swim lesson. One of them slumped around and had a massive frown on her face. She looked up at me and begged, “Do I have to do this?” The only thing that I can say to her was: “You’ll be glad you did this one day”.
She looked at me with a blank face. Suddenly, I remembered the years of my own swimming lessons when I was a little kid. Like her, I also looked up to my mom and begged, just like my daughter did.
One hot day, years later, when I was a bit older, I found myself being tossed around underwater by a really strong riptide. The current had kept me underwater for longer than I was able to hold my breath. I didn’t know which side was up or down until my left cheek slammed a hard surface. Before I could react, though, I felt my body being dragged back out into the ocean.
Another panicked moment went by and I was still underwater. It might’ve been a few seconds, but it felt much longer. See, people say your life flashes before your eyes in times like this. For me, though, I was just looking to find a way to go up for air.
“I couldn’t have been that far out from the beach”, I thought. Then my arm hit a hard surface again. “That was definitely the beach!”, I thought.
I knew I only had seconds to spare. So, I pulled my legs in next to my arm to try to find a footing. I don’t know how long I was scrambling, but I found the ground. Then, as I expected, the water started pulling me back out into the ocean, yet again.
With all that a tiny little kid could muster, I dug my hands and feet into the ground against the water. The water left and I stayed behind.
I was alive.
I never told anyone about this. Maybe because I was embarrassed to admit that the skills I built from years of swimming lessons, including from the days when I thought the lessons were worthy of multiple eye-rolls, actually did serve its purpose. It saved my life.
Today, I always thought about how ten years worth of swim lessons just boiled down to the 2-3 crucial minutes of my life. I think business and life decisions are like this. It’s worth doing the homework long before we ever need to draw from our learning.
Define the goal of the decision
Decisions are crossroads and roads have to lead somewhere. If it’s a dead end, you will simply turn around and find another road to get to your destination.
My worst experiences making decisions were when I didn’t know where I wanted to go or what the end goal should be.
The swim lessons are no different. All I probably had to say to my daughter to motivate her is “you might find yourself drowning one day, and everything you are learning here will be the only thing you need to stay alive”.
This is much more tangible than: “You’ll be glad you did this one day”.
The goal needs to be defined as clearly and specifically as possible.
If the decision I’m making is whether or not to pursue a business idea, then I may want to get clear on whether the goal is to:
Increase revenue (and if so, what are the specific ways to make this happen?)
Diversify my offerings (and if so, how will the idea diversify? Should I diversify, to begin with?)
Add meaning (and if so, how will this idea expand on my definition of meaning?)
Stopping on my tracks for five minutes to ask myself these questions can help me decide if I want to commit to begin with. And if I do, what are the reasons why I will stay committed?
Since I learned a lot from my near-death experience, I’ll swallow my pride and accept that there are child-rearing gems that I can also apply to decision-making. Even though I’m now much older, I wonder if self-imposed time-outs can be healthy for our decision-making paralysis.
If you’re ever in doubt about your goals, how you define them, and whether you’ve made the right decision, it’s worth to:
Shelve your questions for the time being.
Get your mind off it and do something fun, go eat something fatty, binge watch your favorite TV show.
Come back after 1-2 weeks as a new and improved person and see if you still feel the same way about your decision.
There are multiple versions of you: you today, you yesterday, and you tomorrow. Fortunately and unfortunately for your decisions, three different versions of you can make three different decisions.
But sometimes, the majority simply wins. If you find that your opinion stays the same after a couple of weeks, it seems fair to give yourself the chance at bat and green-light the decision.
Scenarios are not usually just black and white
The problem with drawing up a list of pros and cons is that you’ll only see the pros as completely good and cons as utterly bad—which, as we all know too well, is not usually true. Some pros have disadvantages and some cons can actually work to your benefit.
If you’re a list-making person, it’s almost better to get quantitative and draw up at least six scenarios to give you a better flavor of the consequences.
Good scenario. If just one or two of your goals happen, this would be a good scenario.
Better scenario. If most of your goals happen, you’d consider the decision that you made not just good, but better.
Best-case scenario. This would be your ideal situation where it all came true.
Bad scenario. OK, this is if one of your priority goals didn’t happen.
Worse scenario. This is if most of your goals had gone sideways.
Worst-case scenario. This would happen if all of your goals are upside down.
If you realize that your worst-case scenario still doesn’t stop you from moving forward, this might be a sign that you’re ready to deal with whatever the consequences.
If you also realize that the best-case scenario suddenly doesn’t really make sense in your overall vision for what you want to do, stop right now and walk away.
The eye-roll track record probability test
We usually either go to our mentors, colleagues, friends, and family for counsel on our decisions or we just don’t. If we do, we usually know what types of answers they will give. If we don’t, it’s usually because we also know that they would roll their eyes and give us the “here we go again” treatment.
Either way, track record does paint a better picture of the past because:
If our dear ones had rolled their eyes once, twice, or more times to a similar decision that we made, and yet the result actually proved them right, we need to see where we went wrong first before taking another leap.
But if they had rolled their eyes to a similar former decision and yet the outcome had proven you right most of the time, then—again—the majority wins.
But what about the exception to the rule? The time when someone defied expectations?
The top 10% rule
I always love to think that geniuses and the top 10% are lucky and exceptional in some ways. It’s probably true to a certain degree. But if I’m honest, I use this as an excuse to give myself permission to announce that I’ve tried my best.
Two more important questions, though:
Do these top performers got some of the eye-roll, too, and proved everybody wrong?
Is defying the eye-roll actually the secret ingredient to being in the top 10%?
If we don’t have any track record to work with, the only thing left for us to do is to look at our heroes, those who have braved the storm, survived the most vicious criticism and made it to new territories full of promises.
Be the author of your story
It’s one thing to imagine your future. It’s another thing to write your story, draw vivid images of the story, and have a word-for-word script for the story.
I remember when I was younger. School plays are always tricky, mostly because everyone wants to be the hero or heroine. And there’s usually only one or two spots for this.
Sometimes, there are a few supporting roles that are ‘better’ scenarios. Then, there are the roles that you don’t care about, like being a cloud, a tree or any of the non-speaking roles. But there are certain roles, like the villain, that, if you found out you’ve been cast for that role, not only make you upset but also makes you devastated!
It’s weird to think that this actually plays well into adulthood and it really does! One way we can figure out which ‘roles’ and storylines we would like is to fill in the blanks in our own pretend story as it relates to the decision that we have to make.
For instance, we can say: “If I don’t pursue this decision now, I would have to do (e.g. plan B)”. Now, if you find yourself squirming at the sound of plan B, you need to get over it and just pursue plan A, whatever that might be.
Sometimes, something doesn’t sound awful until you say it out loud or you read it back to yourself. If your story makes you want to pull your hair, rip out the pages, and start completely new, why bother spending the rest of your days living something that you hate?
Rewrite it until the prospect of the end makes you want to close the book happily, drift off to bed with a giant grin, and reread it again the next day.
It should be no less than interesting.
Don’t self-sabotage your story. Rewrite it as many times as you need. Then, go to bed.
It’s July 2003 and you’re a sophomore Harvard student named Mark Zuckerberg. You’ve been playing around with a pet project. You’ve got no commercial aspirations for it. It’s just fun to code. It’s a “hot or not” photo comparison site. You call it FaceMash and your friends love it. Then, it finds its way onto the main Harvard servers and your education as a young entrepreneur begins.
Facemash shows you how an idea can go wrong and how an idea can be snuffed out — not because people don’t like it. They did. Its first four hours online attracted 450 students and 22,000 photo views. Facemash was snuffed out because it was deemed inappropriate in a number of ways by the Harvard administration.
As the Harvard Crimson reported in November 2003, the charges against you are for security, copyright, and privacy violations and you’re staring down the barrel of expulsion from Harvard. There’s also an angry backlash from women, in particular, not least the Association of Harvard Black Women.
The charges are subsequently dropped but the experience teaches you that an idea is just the start. Although Facemash wasn’t a startup per se, if it had been, the regulatory issues and the backlash from women would have strangled it at birth. The idea that it generated, Facebook, would need to overcome significant obstacles, regulatory, financial, staffing, competition and so much more.
Survival of the fittest didn’t just apply to biological life
It applied to startups, too.
Zuckerberg and Facebook went on to achieve great things, but why do nine out of ten startups fail?
You have solid ideas and you know your markets. You know your ideas can make money. So, what happened to your vision?
Patel summarizes that if a startup is already attracting a lot of customers, like Facemash, you don’t really need a business plan until you go out and get funding. Otherwise, it’s vital.
Planning from the start is among the key reasons your startup company will fail early. It sets the scene on your entire vision. Know your market universe. Know your strategy.
Bill Gross of IdeaLab also wanted to know why so many companies fail. He looked into some of his own successes and disappointments at IdeaLab and some of the where-are-they-now companies of recent times. He discovered something he didn’t expect.
Your timing, when you launch, at 42%, was by far the most important factor between a project that succeeded and one that didn’t.
“Your timing is vital,” said Gross. “Are you too early? Do you need to educate the market first? Or are you bang on time? Airbnb launched at the height of the recession when people found it really useful to rent a room or two out and draw in a little extra money. Or are you too late, there are already too many competitors?”
Second in the list was your team at 32%. Your people. The people who make the whole thing tick, their adaptability, the all-important customer experience. Gross says a company has to be prepared to be shouted at by unhappy customers. Things will go wrong.
It’s how a company reacts that defines the company. Gross quotes Mike Tyson, former world heavyweight boxing champion, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.”
The uniqueness of the idea came in 3rd at 28%.
Gross said he wasn’t surprised by Business Planning (24%) and Funding (14%) if a startup already has some traction. If your customers are demanding what you’re producing, you can develop a plan later and intense funding can easily follow.
If you’ve got no market traction yet, like the vast majority of startups, the Business Planning and Funding pieces are vital to your survival.
Your business plan will tell an investor if you and your idea are up to it. But, more importantly, it will tell YOU if you’re up to it. “It’s at this point,” says Gross, that “…sensible people see a bad idea play out on the page and just leave it alone right there.”
In three years time, what are your startup’s projected sales? How much do you need to spend to get those sales? How many people will you need to employ and train, how much server space? What are the costs of giving away the free version before you monetize it?
“You will find there’s a lot more than you thought,” says Gross.
Out of your business plan will emerge a map
Suddenly, there’s a real business opportunity. Your business plan covers it all — revenue models, ad campaigns, and how to design a seamless customer experience.
It will tell an investor two things:
You can run a fifty million dollar company.
Your startup will give them a Return on Investment (ROI) they can work with.
So, now that you’re funded, you take a moment to enjoy the feeling. You give someone a hug. Can this be your dreams coming true? You’re dizzy with the buzz it gives you. As Chris Herd writes on Hackernoon, “Welcome to the most exciting time in your life.”
Now, it’s time for you to crank up the engines. You do all the things you said you would in the business plan. There are deadlines, people to find, marketing agencies to meet, and prices to negotiate.
Neil Patel says “It’s now time to focus harder than ever. Ideas spring up everywhere but, unless it’s a free energy idea or London to Sydney in six minutes, do not bother your current strategy with it. Focus. Keep your eye on the ball. You’ve still got so many more obstacles to come.”
Before long, your idea will be copied. Products will hit the market that are cheaper than yours, maybe have a few nice ideas yours doesn’t. It’s inevitable. That’s why you chose the blitzkrieg option, saturate, colonize, and cling on to your market share with all you’ve got.
The nice ideas on those other sites? You were first to market. You’re the market leader. Build them into your future releases.
You were the first to set yourself as the first right from the start. Keep improving it, inventing, and creating new products with your brand all over them.
There is another factor that so many entrepreneurs ignore or simply don’t believe is important. It’s the fundamental essence of ‘survival of the fittest’.
If you invent a machine that can produce free energy, what are the big power companies going to do? Insist quite strongly you sell it all to them? Tie you up in lawsuits till you lose the will to live?
It doesn’t matter if it’s the biggest energy company in the world or a company just a bit bigger than you. If they lose market share, they’ll want you stopped. Life was just fine before you came along.
Patel says, “This is the stage where your whole vision can be torn up and stamped on and this is the stage where it’s most damaging. This is where all that hard work can vanish down the plug hole overnight.”
Your competition is fighting for its survival. You’re under attack. That photo of you on Facebook doing something nefarious? Your less than exemplary school record? It all finds its way into the media and your brand suffers.
When the co-founder of Facebook, Eduardo Saverin, underwent a week-long induction ritual at Harvard, he had to take a chicken with him everywhere he went. He couldn’t imagine later being accused of animal cruelty but eventually, the negative publicity was used as one of the reasons to write him out of Facebook. Zuckerberg had learned well from his Facemash experience.
This is survival of the fittest in its most corporate form.
It’s not fair, you say. It’s all going so well. Everything is on plan. You didn’t do anything wrong.
Or did you? You didn’t see it coming but you should have. And where in the business plan did it mention anything was fair?

Your CDO needs to engage anti-hacking measures and have strategic contingencies in place for anything that comes after you. It could be industrial espionage, a negative PR campaign. The bigger you are, the nastier the things they say about you. You will even need to watch out for sabotage from within.
Lyons says, “It’s not paranoid. It happens. It’s real. If you want your baby to get past childhood, realize what sort of world we’re in and get ahead of it.”
So, why do nine out of ten startups fail?
According to some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, including Neil Patel and Bill Gross, it’s bad planning. You took your eye off the ball and natural selection wasn’t considered.
Bill Gross said, “The startup is one of the greatest ways we’ve got to make the world a better place. If you take a group of people with the right equity incentives and organise them in a startup, you can unlock human potential in a way never before possible. And to do that, you must miss nothing.”
Mark Zuckerberg’s human potential was unlocked with Facebook but Geoffrey James, writing for Inc.com had one more word of advice for all the future Mark Zuckerbergs out there.
“There is one thing and one thing alone that every great entrepreneur absolutely must possess: courage. When all’s said and done, you can plan and strive and do all you can but if you don’t also have the pig-headed courage of an entrepreneur, you won’t be an entrepreneur.”
If Mark Zuckerberg had a business plan for Facemash in 2003, he would have learned about the woes about to befall him.
Whether he would have done anything differently, only he can say.
To me, consciousness is about emotional self mastery. It’s the energetic and spiritual awareness of yourself and others and having the tools to be empowered and effective in whatever you do. Knowing how to become more conscious starts with that and letting go of a few things in your life.
Here are some things to eliminate in order to become more conscious, happier, healthier, and more resilient.
No one ever owes us anything — not even our parents. I live by the motto, “If it is to be, it’s up to me”, which reminds me to get things done for myself.
That’s not to say that we can’t ask for support, help or assistance from others. It’s just that we can’t expect others to be or do anything, other than to be true to themselves.
Expectations feel funky to the person on the receiving end. When someone has an agenda, that person’s energy doesn’t feel like kindness and caring.
Carrying Your Baggage Around
We aren’t taught in this life how to process and release things and let them go.
It’s important to find a practical way that works for us and our particular psychology. Sometimes, if we’ve had trauma, we need therapy, a psychologist, counseling or a coach to help us.
A lot of people get very hung up on forgiveness as some sort of moral badge of honor. I don’t agree as this is not pragmatic. It is overwhelming for someone injured or abused.
As an empath, I’ve never found I could get free of other people’s stuff by forgiving alone. Instead, I focus on healing myself and understanding where they are functioning from.
Then, I set boundaries knowing that they will always be true to that. To presume they will change or to justify their choices is to short-change them and me.
We’ve all been taught ways of looking at life and absorbed belief systems that shape our filter and our experience of the world.
It can be helpful to consider whether what we were taught is helpful, because sometimes, it’s not. If not, than we need to dismantle these beliefs as they will continue to hinder our progress and development.
We all wanted to idolize our parents as children, but sometimes, they have issues. They may have not been taught emotional intelligence and may do things that don’t serve their highest good, or ours, even if they were loving towards us.
That doesn’t mean we don’t love them. Instead, it means they are human. Searching for our highest truth and being aware of what we’ve decided is essential to a life well lived.
Real love is the most freeing thing there is, but we love in a real, human and messy way. I talk about “radical appreciation”. This is when we adore someone/something in all its awesomeness without expectation.
Everything in this reality is temporary. It is possible to adore people, contribute to and receive from them, without a heavy or binding attachment with them.
Attachment to situations, places or people can be good. However, often times, we confuse need with love. We place conditions on others or do control so that we can feel safe or secure.
Worshipping At The Alter Of Your Feelings
Everything in personal development references feelings, and I think this is overemphasized.
I’m big on body wisdom. Our body is like a huge radio receiver, constantly giving us information and reacting to things to give us instant awareness. This is what I term emotion (soul reaction channeled through the body).
Feelings are, in my opinion, body sensations based off thoughts. So, they can only be as healthy or useful as the beliefs of which our thoughts are based.
Therefore, feelings are often not helpful — other than as a guide to where we have great or lousy beliefs or thoughts. What’s good to know is if you change your thoughts, your feelings change, too.
When we are unwilling to own what is and are not ready to look at our own behavior or beliefs, we pass off responsibility to some convenient target. This is toxic for everyone.
Others are responsible for their poor behavior. It has nothing to do with us and everything to do with them. Our reaction to it is everything about us and nothing to do with them.
Conclusions And Judgements
When we judge something, we pass it through the filter of our past experience and conditioning and arrive at a conclusion. It is where which we attach a positive or negative electrical charge (judgment).
That then limits us as we cannot receive anything from that person or situation that doesn’t match our judgment. Awareness is different. It knows what is, but stays open to all possibilities.
