Coin.Space now supports Dogecoin
Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency that was created as a joke — its name is a reference to a popular Internet meme. It shares many features with Litecoin. However, unlike Litecoin, there is no hard cap on the number of Dogecoins that can be produced.

The EOS.IO software, created by a software programmer, Dan Larimer (who also created Steem and Bitshares) introduced a new blockchain architecture designed to enable vertical and horizontal scaling of decentralized applications(dApp). This is achieved by creating an operating system upon which applications can be built. The software provides accounts, authentication, databases, asynchronous communication, and the scheduling of applications across many of CPU cores or clusters.

EOS was previously a part of the Ethereum blockchain and recently, it has recently announced their mainnet launch and has concluded their year-long ICO, and no longer relies on Ethereum as its underlying layer, as per the EOS coin news. After this launch, EOS no longer relies on ERC20 wallets and has its own new sets of wallets.

For this reason we have now added support for EOS as well as creating and funding a new EOS wallet.

Dear Coin App Users,

If they want to get their Bitcoin SV (BSV) now you need to export and transfer private keys from BCH to another wallet which supports BSV.  As expected, the November 15th Bitcoin Cash hard fork resulted in a chain split and two different cryptocurrencies. While Bitcoin Cash undergoes scheduled upgrades twice a year, the split was caused after two different development teams proposed incompatible upgrades – Bitcoin Cash ABC and Bitcoin SV. At this time, it appears the community has reached consensus that the Bitcoin Cash ABC implementation will retain the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) name and Bitcoin SV (BSV) has emerged as an independent chain and coin.

As we communicated previously, Coin.Space users who held Bitcoin Cash (BCH) before the fork will be credited with both coins When we add the support for BSV. For example, if you held 1 BCH in CoinSpace Wallet at the time of the fork, you will now hold 1 BCH and 1 unit of BSV.

All the best,
Team CoinSpac

As we continue to grow the user base we also work towards being a universal crypto wallet. Over the last 5 years we have been focused on bitcoin and litecoin but the crypto ecosystem has changed and grown so we are changing along with it. Starting on May 8th we will be moving away from CoinSpace and Coin.Space naming and changing to Coin and Coin Wallet.

These changes are better to have Coin Wallet be known as a simple, fast and secure crypto wallet that supports many more cryptocoins than just Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. We will continue to add the top 50 coins just like we added ERC tokens to Coin.

The old coin.space will redirect to coin.app for the next few months and  all mobile apps will auto update to the new API.
