Summer is the season to enjoy ice cream & shakes .And Mango milkshakes is all time hit among kids.In this recipe ,I have chosen Mango as the main ingredient ,with some yummy vanilla ice cream to enhance taste and texture.
Let us start with

INGREDIENTS:---

  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • 1 & 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Few chopped cashew nuts
  • Few colour full gems
  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 wafer biscuits.
-----------------------------------------------------
Serving:----- 2 glass shakes

How to make:-------
  • First take a blender and add chopped mango and sugar.
  • Blend it for 1 mins.
  • Now add milk and blend for 1/2 minute more.
  • Add crushed ice and ice cream and blend it for 1 minutes.
  • Now check sugar ,you can add more sugar according to your taste.
  • Transfer the shake into a glass and add cashew nuts and gems on the top ...
  • Dip one wafer biscuit to make it more tempting.
  • Serve chilled.

Raw Banana Sabzi/ Kache Kele Ki Sukhi Sabzi 


Kache Kele ki spicy sabzi
Kache Kele ki sabzi is a delicious dish prepared using Raw Banana as the main ingredient with amchur powder. Amchur powder adds some tanginess that makes the dish more succulent.

Preparation Time:10 mins
Cooking Time:20 mins

Ingredients:
  • 2 Raw banana
  • 2 Medium size potatoes
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp amchur powder
  • 1 tsp kitchen king
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder(optional)/black pepper
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 & 1/2 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste
Method:--------
  • First in a mixing bowl add coriander powder, amchur powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, kitchen king,garam masala, salt and ginger garlic paste ,mix all masalas by adding 2 Tbsp water, to make a paste.
  • Now peel potatoes and cut into round pieces.
  • Now peel the outer covering of bananas and cut into two pieces. Take one piece fill masala, by making deep cut in the banana piece like we do in bhindi.
  • Apply masala on potato pieces also.
  • Heat oil in a cooker.
  • Transfer masala filled bananas and potatoes.
  • First, keep it over low flame.
  • When one side turns crispy turn it to other side and cover it for 2 mins.
  • Now after two mins, turn the flame high to make all crispy and brown more.
  • Wait for 2 mins and add 1 bowl water and close the lid of the pressure cooker.
  • Cook for 3 whistles.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapatis.

  • 1 chopped cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp soaked chana dal.
  • 1 chopped potato
  • few curry leaves
  • 2 green chillies
  • few coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 &1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 1 tsp maggie magic masala.
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 Tbsp oil
How to cook:--
Time:
Prep      : 10 mins
Cooking:20 mins
  • First heat deep pan on a low flame.
  • Add 1 Tbsp oil in pan.
  • Now add mustard seed and grated ginger.
  • When seed start cracking add curry leaves and green chillies.
  • Add turmeric and chopped cabbage.
  • Mix well and add chopped potato.
  • Add salt .Now cover it for 5 mins.
  • Keep stirring in between.
  • Cook for more 10 to 15 mins by keep stirring in between.
  • Cook until cabbage and potato cooked properly.
  • Add coriander powder,amchur powder and maggie magic masala.
  • Turn off the burner .
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapati...

I have chosen all ingredients that are easily available in your kitchen.
Simple and quick recipe all will like it...

Ingredients:--

  • 5 whole wheat bread slices.
  • 1 bowl chopped onion
  • 1/2 bowl chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 bowl chopped spring onion
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves
  • Few curry leaves
  • Few coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 or 2 green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 bowl milk
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1/2 bowl chopped tomato.
  • 1 Tbsp oil

How to cook:--

Time:
Prep:10 mins
Cooking :10 mins
Serve:2
  • First cut whole wheat bread slices into small square pieces.

  • Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a pan on low flame.
  • Add mustard seed in hot oil.
  • Add curry leaves.
  • Now when mustard seeds crackle, add chopped onion.
  • Add chopped garlic cloves and keep on stirring.
  • When onion and garlic turn light brown add chopped  capsicum .
  • Keep stirring and add spring onion and chopped tomatoes.
  • Add turmeric ..stir it properly.
  • Cover it ...for 3 to 4 mins.
  • Now add small pieces of whole bread slices.
  • Add salt and sugar,mix it properly.
  • Add milk and mix it.
  • Cover it and cook for more 2 mins.
  • Now garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Turn off the flame .
  • Serve it hot ..
  • Enjoy as breakfast or evening snacks.

MAKHANA KEEMA MASALA(veg)

Makhana ,we think of Makhanas when we are fasting.That is why ,it is called as Fasting food.But its healthy benefits are superior to those of dry fruits such as almonds and walnut. Makhana s are good source of Proteins, Carbohydrates, Fibre,Magnesium,Potassium,Phosphorous,Iron,Zinc..High in fibre and low in calories,it enables weight losss.So lets discuss about how to use it in Keema Masala......
Makhana Keema MasalaMy recipe is very healthy as I have formulated  it keeping in mind to feed kidoos vegetables in any form.So I used Lauki/bottle guard and paneer to enhance its nutritional value...Most of the kids love paneer so they will  try it easily..
Time:
Preparation:10 mins
Cooking:    25 mins

INGREDIENTS:----
  • 1 cup phool makhana
  • 100 gram paneer cut into small pieces.
  • 1 cup grated Lauki or bottle gourd
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  • few coriander leaves
  • 1 and 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi
How to cook:---
  1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a nonstic pan.Add Makhana /lotus seeds . Stir-fry them,stirring constantly until they turn golden brown and crispy.Please don't make them black.
  2. Put  Makhana in a bowl and keep aside.
  3. Now in the same pan heat the remaninig oil.And add first cumin seed ,add grated ginger .
  4. Saute on low flame for 1 to 2 mins  until you see cumin seed turning brown.
  5. Add grated Lauki  and mix well for 5 to 6 minutes over low flame. 
  6. Add tomato puree ,and saute for another four minutes.
  7. Now add dry powders:: turmeric,corainder powder,cumin powder,red chilli powder saute for another  5 minutes.
  8. Add water to make gravy and also add  kasoori methi and  salt and keep the flame medium. 
  9. Cover it for 5 minutes and keep stirring in between..
  10. Add Makhana and paneer .Cover and Cook on low flame for 4 minutes.
  11. switch off the flame.Garnish with corainder leaves.
  12. Serve hot with chapati or pav or puri whatever u like..
TIPS:
In Tomato gravy recipes add water according to thickness of gravy you like...

  • 4 Whole Wheat Bread slices
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 cubes salted butter(increase as per your choice)
  • 1 Tbsp boiled corn
  • 4 Tbsp cooked poha(poha cooked with any veggies including potato as per your choice)
  • few coriander leaves
What is needed: Sandwich maker

How to cook:-----
Servings:2 sandwiches
Time:
Prep: 10 mins
cooking:10 mins
  1. First, take 2 bread slices and spread 1 Tbsp butter on one side of each slice
  2. Take one buttered bread slice and place  2 Tbsp cooked poha on the side with butter.
  3. Then add 1/2 Tbsp corn,1 Tbsp onion.
  4. Now add few coriander leaves and cover with another bread.
  5. Now make another sandwich with the same quantity of filling.
  6. Place both sandwiches in the preheat sandwich maker.
  7. Grill for 1 to 2 mins until sandwiches turn golden.
  8. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.

Ingredients:--
  • 20 gm milk powder
  • 2 cup full cream milk
  • 2 cup boiled and  sliced sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • few cashew nuts
  • 2 drops strawberry essence
How to prepare:--
  • First, mash sweet potatoes.
  • Then take a blender jar and add cashew nuts, strawberries and sugar
  • Then add 1/2 cup milk first.
  • Blend it for two minutes
  • Now after blending, add 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes and blend for more 1 min.
  • Now add remaining sweet potatoes and strawberry essence.
  • And add 1/2 cup more milk and blend for 1 min.
  • Now after blending properly, add milk powder and 1 cup milk.
  • Now blending is complete.
  • Transfer it into an Ice cream box. Keep it in the freezer for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours take out from the freezer and blend it again.
  • And keep it in the freezer to freeze an Ice cream.
  • It takes normally 2 to 3 hours to freeze an ice cream properly
  • Enjoy your Sweet Potato strawberry Ice cream with your kiddos.

  • 1 glass of  chilled  full cream milk
  • 2 Tbsp sugar 
  • 2 drops vanilla essence
  • 1 bowl chopped strawberries
  • ice optional
How to shake:--.
  1. First, take a blender jar and add chopped strawberries.
  2. Add sugar ,vanilla essence and half glass milk.
  3. Blend it for two mins.
  4. Open the jar and stir it with a spoon.
  5. Add remaining milk.
  6. Blend it for 2 more mins.
  7. Check its temperature, you can add ice(optional) to make it more chill.
  8. You can add more sugar if you like it.
  9. Serve it chill.
