I write this piece from a place of love and compassion for those who are struggling with their weight. Over the years, I have coached many people that all have the same thing in common. They can’t shift the bloody weight or as I tell them the fat! Everyone’s story of how they put the weight on is different but their fate is the same. The weight is on now and now is the time to get to work and undo all the damage you caused. Yes, you read correctly, the damage YOU caused.
Firstly, the basics. Why is it so important that we stay hydrated? Well we would think that the answer to this is simple and for the most part it is. However, when living a sedentary lifestyle drinking over 2 litres of water a day is never really top of your things to do list. Quite frankly it should be. Your body depends on water to survive!
