Hello everyone
Today I have a Baby girl mini album to share with you all today. This cute album was made on commission for a client in London for a new born baby girl and comes with some really fun interactive pages. I have used Hello Baby Girl collection from Echo Park Papers to build my project. I really enjoyed working with this collection...has a lot of subtle prints and colors......rose pink, brown, lavender and lilac, mint and yellow were some of the colors which I was able to play with in this collection.

The cover of the spine is decorated with some heavenly flowers form ItsyBitsy along with a shaker window in the center which is filled with fun sequins and beads.,,,so fun to play with. I also have done some stenciling on the cover to add a little something extra to the cover.

The album measures 8.5" x  9" with a 4.5" spine and has 6 interactive and cute pages. Since this album was made for a new born, I have given 12 dedicated monthly pages along with ample journalling spots and milestone tags. The spine is kept a little simple to focus all the attention to the cover.

Here is a video tour of this project...I really recommend you watch it to get a better feel of the interactive elements.

Hello guys

I want to share some envelopes and a card I made with the Little Birdie watercolor embellishments. Along with that, I am also here to share my experience of using these products with you.

The entire Watercolor range is really useful and the embellishments are specially amazing. They make life really easy when you are looking for a convenient solution without having to draw pretty sketches.

I am not a watercolor or a coloring person in general…I am always scared about coloring and shading. Its a nightmare for me to stay within the lines while coloring. So watercolors are never my go to choice and I do not have a lot of accessories and colors. But the quality of paper used are awesome…so even when I made mistakes…I can correct them. The ink doesn’t bleed or seep….even after layers of colors and water. After I finished colouring, the paper was still intact which is a sign of real good quality!

These embellishments are unique in design, self adhesive are ideal for customizing with colours of your choice. You can paint them with watercolour paints, watercolour pencils, ink washes, distress inks, markers, color splashes and more to match your projects. These are ready to use and add dimension and interest on cards, scrapbooks. journals, mixed media and more. The high quality paper has great absorbency and avoids wrapping.

For a tutorial to know how I made these please visit the ItsyBitsy blog where the challenge this month is to make anything using the new Watercolor Range. I hope you all liked my projects. I am putting this up at the following blog challenges:
  1. Addicted to stamps and more #336 - Anything Goes
  2. Allsorts Challenge Blog  Week 514- Sentiment is focus
  3. Double D Challenge - Watercolors
  4. HLS Watercolor Challenge - Anything Goes - Optional Bright

Thank you for stopping by.....
Hugs

Hey guys
Today I have a mixed media project which is completely made from cement. I have never used cement in art projects  and that is why I was really excited to play with this product. This is what I have come up with….a Lotus Pond made from scratch using the craft cement. Lotus are feminine and very royal...this "PROJECT FOR ME A MY WAY OF INTERPRETING A PRINCESS IN HER PALACE".

Whenever I think of lotus there are few words that come to my mind…..exotic, luxurious, sacred and beautiful. So I have clubbed all these things to come up with this Opulent Lotus Pond. I have a tutorial for the same on the ItsyBitsy blog and you can go there by clicking HERE

To satisfy the mixed media artist in me, I coated the entire lotus with Little Birdie Texture Paste and white gesso. I let it dry completely which took about 15minutes. I colored the lotus with various tones of pink. I initially used shades of peach and gold and pink but then at the end I changed it because I wanted a bolder look for the lotus.
I jazzed it up with glitter and sparkle and added it to the base plate. I have used M-seal, a fast curing epoxy compound to do this. Then I covered the area around the lotus with microbeads in blue and green to give the effect of murky water and lotus leaves. I sprinkled it with little more gold shimmer and finished it with a fancy lace from my stash. That was the final touch of luxury to my majestic Lotus Pond!! Here are the pictures…I hope you like it.

I am putting this up at the following blog challenges
  1. Rhedds Creative Spirit  - March Challenge
  2. More Mixed Media Challenge - Anything Goes green

Hello guys
I am here to share with you all a mixed media layout. This year I have been doing a lot of positive affirmations.....on my journal spreads, canvas and layouts. I feel we can achieve anything if we just stay focused and be aware of our abilities. Here is a layout which is so full of motivation and positivity and it says "Your Wings Already Exists...All You Have to Do is Fly. This is my DT inspiration for ITSYBITSY and to read a full tutorial please click HERE.

I have challenged myself this time to limit the no of colors used on this layout and rather decided to use tones of the same color.....I have grey and blue as primary colors and everything around is in tones on blues and grey with neutral shades like white, black and kraft. I wanted to add this softness to my layout and so have incorporated cheesecloth and cotton threads in few places....for me it represents cloud and mist.

I love playing with flowers and glitter and I had such a fun time playing with it....sparkly and shiny but yet muted....Happy with the way it turned out this time..I hope you all like it too. Here are a few more closeups....

I am putting this up at the following challenges:-

  1. Love to Create Mixed Media challenge #2 - Anything Goes
  2. Creative Artiste mixed Media Challenge #46 - Anything Goes
  3. Rhedd's Creative Spirit feb Challenge - anything Goes
  4. Nomadicsouldiaries on Instagram.

Hey guys
Today, on Valentine's Day i am sharing a mixed media canvas with you all which I made to celebrate love. We all wait for the one person who will be there with us forever...someone who will have your back, listen to you and come what may never leave your side have but most of us fail to realize that we have that person within ourselves.
I am basically celebrating Valentine's Day with my very first Valentine...MYSELF. Its sounds silly but I think even when you have no one...you will always have yourself...ALWAYS AND FOREVER so LOVE YOURSELF and BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.......and TRUST YOURSELF.
This is also my DT Inspiration post for ItsyBitsy and you can read a full tutorial to make this project by clicking HERE
I love pinks...its my fav color and I tried a lot to restrain myself from using it...but I finally gave into the temptation. I wanted to give this canvas a very delicate and feminine look and so I have used multiple shades of pinks, peaches, coral and whites along with hints of black, grey and beige. To achieve this look I used lacy background paper and a stencil to mimic the look.
It was really fun to play with flowers and embellishments to bring in a feminine look....and the sentiment was framed and mounted with layers of papers to add more interest to the focal sentiment. The final touches came from a lot of sequins, glitter, mico beads and splatters. Here are some more closeups of my project...I hope you all like it.

I am putting this project up at the following blog challenges :-
  1. More Than Words February Challenge - Always and Quote
  2. Mixed media Warriors #37 - All You Need is Love

Hello guys
Today I have a new colors of gaddi box for you. I made 25 of these as a custom order for a wedding ceremony. Though the original purpose of this was to accommodate money bundles.....I however feel it will be an apt gift box or chocolate box. Previously I had 3 colors available in this and I am so glad to include the 4th color this time. You can click here to go to the previous post.
To make these boxes, I have used 300 gsm white cardstock. The beautiful printed papers are from ItsyBitsy from L'Amour collection. The the ribbons, chipboard embellishments and most of the flowers are from Itsybitsy as well. I have gold heat embossed the chipboard embellishments using Ranger Gold embossing powder.I have also added diecut leaves using Curvy Leaves Die from Elizabeth craft designs.

This box is big enough to hold !00 notes of INR 2000....thts a lot of money to gift someone. That is it from me today....I hope you all liked it. Thank you for visiting me and have a great week ahead.

Hello everyone
I am sharing a romantic Explosion Box with you all. This one is made for a client who is celebrating her first Valentine's Day with her Husband. I made this box to give an idea of " A Romantic Date in a Garden" and this is also inspired by the garden in my campus.......with green grass, flowers and butterflies...atleast it looks like that in summer.
My box is 6" by 6" by 6" and has 3 layers which in all hold 24 mats. So you can add 24 to 48 pictures.....but I would prefer you to add 24 pics and journal on the back of the mats. Apart from the picture mats, I also have tiny tags included in the box..they are so cute. I have used beautiful papers from Eno Greetings called as Blue Florals..these are really adorable and the quality is also very nice.

I decorated the entire project with handmade mulberry flowers from ItsyBitsy and other local craft stores in India. I also used gold foil cardstock to add soem shine to my project without making it very blingy. I have also added gold foil leaves....these bring so much extra to this project.

The focal sentiment " Always in My Heart" is also from ItsyBitsy which I have gold heat embossed. Love the way it sits on the entwined wooden hearts.....

The decorative element int he center is my fav.....I adore those cutesy butterflies. They are to die for... The bench I have used is from Mudra Crafts and the lamp post is from ItsyBitsy. I really love the way it all brings the entire garden theme together....
I have tried to create a small garden on every flap of every layer...filled with flowers and grass and art pebbles. I made sure to add browns to complete the look of a true garden.....Here are a few more pics of the flaps.

I hope you all like it as much as I do. Here is a small video of my fun box....I hope you all will watch it.

Hey guys
Today I have a  shabby chic decorative plate for you all. I have never tried image transfer and this will be my first attempt at it.....I have to say I'm pretty happy to see the result I got. Also Shabby chic is my go to style of art and I love to give my projects that feel. For me no project is complete without the touch of Little Birdie flowers.....
Its all about the new Little Birdie Instant Image Transfer Gel this month on Itsy Bitsy's blog and you all can participate on it by clicking HERE. This product can be used for transferring images onto just about any surface including wood, MDF, metal, glass and it takes 5 to 10 mins to dry...so that's a quick image transfer medium!! This is water soluble so it's easy to wipe with soap and water and is also non-toxic.
I have a tutorial for his project on the Itsybitsy blog and you can read it by clicking HERE. I am sharing a few pics of my project here...I hope you all like it.

I  am putting this up at
