Psalm 67:7 God shall bless us; And all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

The psalmist says that the ends of the earth will fear God. God would bless the people of Israel. Then the entire world would hear about God and come to reverence Him. What a wonderful promise of world evangelism we find in this verse. God wants the world to know Him. Even in the Old Testament, the idea that the world would recognize God was present.

We can take the gospel and go out with confidence. We know that God will be glorified all over this earth. We know that eventually, all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. Let’s share the gospel.

Vision Baptist Church by Robert Canfield - 20h ago

We had another great service here at Vision Baptist this past Sunday.

On Sunday morning, David Dipboye gave our offering devotion. Then, Joshua Holt, Jordan Cooke, Lydia Littlefield, and Luke Littlefield sang our special with Kristen Mize on piano and Ben Mize on guitar. Then, we had our Lord’s Supper with Bro. Gardner who preached on Jesus coming again.

Then, on Sunday evening, we had two baptisms. Hayley Hardy was baptized by her brother Austin Cook, and Johanna Bush was baptized by Bro. Gardner. Graham Young preached a 5 minute message on 1 Peter and Jeff Bush gave us our Psalm of the day, Psalm 34. Then, Chris Fies gave us a special with Angel Ragsdale on piano. We also had missionary Brendon Wung give an update on his ministry in North Africa. Bro. Gardner gave us a sermon on how God is always at work in Isaiah 52.

If you would like to view this service, please check out our live stream on Facebook.

Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hateth lying: But a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

God’s people not only speak the truth, but they also hate lies. They hate anything but the truth. How is it that some Christians will stoop to lie. They are not living and acting like people of truth.

The wicked man is loathsome. That means to be bad, stinking. It means that he is harmful. He lives in a miserable state. He is hated. He has a bad reputation. We do not want that to be our testimony.  The liar will get embarrassed. He will come to shame. So speak the truth and live in the truth. Those that know God know the truth and want to live in truth.

Exodus 28:36 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

God wants us “set apart” to Him, holiness. God marked the man of God with a breastplate that said this very thing, Holiness to the Lord. ‘God’s man was to be marked by those very words.

Holy means complete and entire. It means that separation from sin and wickedness to God and purity.  Holy refers to being set apart for sacred use, the service and worship of God. That means not for our uses and pleasures but His purposes.

We ought to hunger to be ‘God’s and for God. We ought to desire to be used of Him, set apart for Him and to Him. We belong to Him. We live for Him.
