In a new campaign starring Caroline Vreeland, Agent Provocateur transforms everyday moments into iconic moods. Four archetypal moods are embodied by Caroline Vreeland, singer-songwriter, fashion muse and great-granddaughter of legendary style-setter Diana Vreeland.
Creative Director, Sarah Shotton comments: “We are thrilled to be working with Caroline Vreeland who epitomises the iconic AP woman with her sensational body with voluptuous curves. AP is a brand for everyone and the campaign celebrates Caroline and her body across four moods in an iconic Agent Provocateur way.”
The dishevelled loveliness of Sensual Romance is translated in vintage-style lace in seductive tones of pink and nude; The Mercy corset is the ultimate expression of Seductive Power, with panels of quintessential lace with rigid embroidery that control the body and give the ultimate fifties hourglass look, while a flesh-coloured lining gives the illusion of skin beneath. Daily Elegance is embodied by the perpetually enchanting Hinda Bra and Hinda Brief in versatile black, crafted from delicate French Leavers Chantilly lace, while the Clea Wireless Bralette and Clea Brief define Weekend Indulgence. Crafted from a soft, smooth black modal fabric and cut for ultimate comfort, they feature the Agent Provocateur branding in playful pink.
Caroline Vreeland comments: “It has been quoted that a great dress disappears when a woman wears it. This is the closest way to describe how I feel in Agent Provocateur lingerie. The set, of course, is wildly-breathtakingly visible. But an AP set, no matter how complex or decadent, does not wear the woman. She wears it. At the shoot, when I saw my curves, my tummy, my breasts, accentuated and celebrated by the lingerie and not hidden by it or disguised within it that is when I felt sexy. AP lingerie is a celebration.”
Making the world’s finest socks from the world’s finest yarns, Pantherella‘s Autumn Winter 2019 collection delivers a variety of luxurious socks that have been made in the same family owned factory in Leicester since 1937. Launching in January 2019, the Luxury and Vintage lines offer classic designs inspired by the history books and Scottish landscape, while Modern+ looks to video games and the digital world for its creative designs. New for AW19, Pantherella’s Merino Royale socks give weightless warmth and superior softness, thanks to ultrafine 120s Tasmanian merino wool. Featuring elegant bird’s-eye jacquards and diamond motif patterns, these designs are presented in winter tones of dark oak, Bordeaux and bottle green – creating the ultimate dress sock.
Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, the latest Luxury collection features classic designs and sophisticated motifs across a range of key winter styles. Knitted from Mongolian cashmere, the brand’s cashmere socks offer a palette reflective of the country’s mountains, deep lochs, ancient woods and hidden beaches. Combined with highlights of magenta, copper and ice blue, Heather Marl and Loch Marl are given a modern update, while still delivering supreme warmth and comfort.
The Vintage Collection combines the history books with the medieval fantasies seen in current popular culture; a magical array of traditional styling, brought up to date with a modern take on design classics. Historical herringbone, houndstooth, windowpane and paisley patterns are given modern digital details and vibrant colour touches executed through fine gauge Merino Wool and Fil d’Ecosse.
Pantherella’s Modern+ Collection sees directional styles inspired by video games and the wider digital world. Looking to social media and the news trends, the designers use oversized bold patterns and smaller scale digital details to create a range of wearable, contemporary socks. Explosive colour combinations of mustard, petrol blue, chilli red, burnt orange and emerald contrast with diagonal arrows, abstract diamonds and paisley patterning, to deliver a trend focused collection of socks for the modern, fashion conscious man after a dash of individualism to finish his look.

The UK’s favourite size inclusive and body positive tights brand, Snag, is launching a new line of Chub Rub Shorts so that customers of all shapes and sizes can enjoy their summer completely chafe-free. ‘Chub rub’ often occurs during the summertime when the skin on the inner thighs is moist and starts to rub together, causing uncomfortable friction and chafing.
Snag’s Chub Rub Shorts are enhanced with a special lab-tested Nilit® Breeze cooling yarn which is proven to keep the body temperature almost 1 degree lower, keeping the wearer feeling refreshed and comfortable when the temperatures rise. Chub-rubs are also equipped with moisture-wicking fabric and cotton gussets, to help customers to feel fresher and rub-free while the bottom part of the legs are free to soak up the sunshine.
Snag’s new 80 Denier Chub Rub Shorts collection feature five colour shades, including raspberry pie, beach bum, hot chocolate, builders tea, and black. Every shade comes in a variety of sizes which vary in height, width and body shape, ranging from sizes 6 to 36.
Transgender model Munroe Bergdorf has posed in Bluebella swimwear as part of its #LoveYourself campaign championing female empowerment. Munroe shared pictures on her Instagram of her wearing the Samar swimsuit in coral and white, plus the Ionian swimsuit and Caspian bikini from the MORE by Bluebella collection. She wrote: “I know I’m not alone in saying that I’m someone who has had a complicated relationship with their body, especially during the summer. Advertising selling us the dream of the perfect beach body is so damaging, especially when we as women come in an endless array of shapes, sizes, abilities and gender identities.”
“Personally, the beach has always been a difficult space to navigate,” she adds. “I spent so much energy trying to hide my body, that I forgot I deserve to enjoy it. My weight fluctuates. I have self-harm scars. I’m transgender. I get cellulite. But I deserve to feel the sun and sea on my skin during summer as much as anyone else! I refuse to let other people’s judgments of my body become how I see myself. Which is why I’m proud to support the @bluebella #Loveyourself campaign wearing my gorgeous Bluebella swimwear.”
Bluebella founder and CEO Emily Bendell said: “We love seeing Munroe looking so confidently beautiful in Bluebella swim on her recent beach trip. As Munroe so eloquently tells us, all women, whatever their age, shape or gender identity, should celebrate self-love on the beach this summer. You don’t have to do anything to be beach body ready apart from getting to the beach. That is what #LoveYourself is all about.”

New British lingerie brand Posie debuts for Autumn/Winter 2019 with the ‘Transfigure’ collection. Manufactured to the highest ethical standards in the UK, the luxury, eco conscious lingerie brand encourages women to harness and appreciate their own uniqueness with each piece in the range.
The inspiration for the collection was drawn from the graceful Atlas moth, representing transformation and metamorphosis by contrasting delicate and bold elements. This is represented by the fabrics used throughout the collection: delicate tulle and soft cotton velvets sit alongside gold embossed clasps and contrast strap detailing which complement and frame the body.
Within the Transfigure collection there are 3 ranges: Attacus, using organic cotton and sheer tulle embellished in embroidered wing motifs designed in house; Noctuidae, a chic black range using embroidered tulle and strapping to create a strong, dark ethereal mood. Last but not least, Metamorphosis explores past the realms of harmful printing inks and dyes, using lasers instead to etch a bespoke print onto jade coloured cotton velvet, making it the first lingerie brand to use this type of technology.
In addition to providing opulent detailing, Posie’s signature adjustable strapping gives the wearer a choice of underband sizes for the perfect fit. Posie bras come in sizes 32A-36DD and briefs are available in sizes 6-16 across the entire range.
