Blogging live to you and yours! It’s you boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! So who heard that Sega is coming out with a Genesis Mini? Well if you don’t know now you know! It’s going to be retailed at $79.99 with 40+ games. They are available for pre-order now at your local retailer. If you want to know the games that will be on the mini console click here for the full list. But there’s one game or games in particular that isn’t on the list of games that will be on the Genesis Mini. Then when I looked at Sega’s recent compilations it didn’t appear Sega Genesis Classics Collection, or the Sega Genesis HD Flashback by AT Games. That game I’m talking about is Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.
The last re-release I can think of Sonic 3 had to be on Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection which was released back in 2009. That next year in 2010 Sega put out a four in one Sonic collection for the Nintendo DS. Since then it has been a hard game to come by. When they had a Sonic sale on the PS3 there was no sign of the game and Sega has not sold the game separately whether it be on The Google Play Store or the App Store. Now let’s go back to 2009 for a minute. What famous musician does everyone know of who died in 2009? Michael Jackson. That’s right! He apparently helped on the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 soundtrack. Now Sega has not confirmed this officially, and I’m sure everyone has their own theories about this. So let’s look at the facts.
1. Michael Jackson has worked with Sega before Sonic 3.
Yes he has. He had his own video game. Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker which was on both the Sega Genesis and Arcade. It was developed by Sega as well.
2. Ending music from Sonic 3 closely resembles Jackson’s 96 single Stranger In Moscow.
They do sound pretty similar. Jackson wouldn’t be the only artist to sample music from a video game if this is true. Unless it was his.
3. The Ice Cap Zone and Hard Times.
More music that sounds closely similar. Hard Times was a song by a group in the early 80’s called the Jetzons. The song went unreleased until 2009. The keyboardist from that group Brad Buxer had worked with Michael Jackson for many years and he also worked on the music to the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and confirms Jackson’s involvement.
So I can pretty much confirm that the reason why Sonic 3 won’t be appearing on the Genesis Mini is because of licensing issues with the soundtrack. Now was Michael Jackson involved with the soundtrack of this game. I think so. Everything I listed up above pretty much confirms he had something to do with it. And if that is the reason why Sonic The Hedgehog 3 has pretty much been forgotten about then that just sucks. Especially for younger fans that want to experience all of Sega’s classic library of games such as Sonic The Hedgehog 3. It is probably something having to do with Jackson’s estate. As for the other game Sonic & Knuckles. I have no idea why that isn’t appearing on any of these collections. Maybe its close relation to Sonic 3 since it can all be played as one game technically.
Anyway those are my theories behind Sonic The Hedgehog 3. What do you all think? Did Michael Jackson have something to do with the soundtrack? Is it involved with his estate? Could there be another reason why this game isn’t coming to any compilations? I want to know your thoughts! Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading folks. Keep coming back for more great content.
Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Today’s post is a guest from Patrick Bailey. He talks about how video games and help recovering addicts. And I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who use video games as an anti-drug. I don’t know if you all have read in the news recently but video game addiction is now a mental health disorder. Here’s a link to an article if you want to check that out. Anyway enjoy’s Patrick’s piece and I’ll be back at the end to sum it all up.
Recovering from drug addiction is a process that takes time and requires patience. It requires patience both on the side of the addicts and the loved ones around them. There are two aspects of drug addiction recovery. There is the physical aspect and the psychological aspect. While the physical can be treated using medical procedures and prescriptions, the psychological part uses various forms of therapy.
One of the things that therapy is supposed to do for the addict is to get their mind off the drug. As a result of dependence, an addict’s mind is always fixated on when they can enjoy their next portion of the drug. Any positive activity that can help distract their minds from the drugs should be welcome. This can have a considerable impact on what percentage of alcoholics recover, for example. Gaming is a fantastic way to keep an addict’s mind engaged and distracted from their dependence.
How Does Gaming Help?
Gaming has become quite interesting and fun, especially with all the current developments in technology. There are also a lot of video games available. You’ll find video games on literary every aspect of life. As such, it is highly unlikely that one would not find a video game that they enjoy playing. All the fun experienced during gaming can help addicts gradually take their mind off drugs. After all, they are always looking for fun, although not quite similar to the one experienced while gaming, when they go taking the drugs. The idea is to distract the mind.
Gaming can also be quite helpful during cognitive behavioral therapy. It can help an addict rediscover their talents, character, and ambitions that are often lost when the drugs take a toll on them. Most of the games will trigger the player to think critically and make certain decisions that determine how good of a player they are. This helps to develop their mind and thinking capacity as well. They are, therefore, able to reason better while making various choices and decisions.
Modern gaming consoles and other gaming platforms allow people to compete against each other. You can compete with other players online or physically. This allows you to socialize and engage with people in a way that builds a connection. Drug addicts tend to be withdrawn and find it hard to talk to people and express themselves. In most instances, this makes the situation worse. While gaming, the addicts can converse and express their excitement or sadness, which makes one feel good about themselves.
The bottom line is, gaming is a very effective way of getting an addict’s mind focused on developing themselves. Drug addiction takes someone’s identity away and the drug they are abusing becomes their identity. Addicts do not have anything they are working on in their lives and live for the gulp or sniff of their favorite drug. Drug addiction is more in the mind that it is on the physical body. It becomes quite easy to shun drug use when the mind has been pulled out of bondage.
I think that video games have saved a lot people from drug and alcohol addiction. It is definitely a great alternative and great escape from reality in a good way. Just as long as it isn’t being abused. Great job Patrick. For those of you who want to reach out to him I’ll leave his email down below. And if you want to write a guest post for this site please feel free to reach out and if you stay on topic you are in. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! This is a post that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Listing my top ten favorite LPs or full length albums of all time. Now I have pretty odd taste in music for the most part. But some of you may be surprised what I list on here. I’ll do my top ten alphabetically by artist. They will be ten different artists. After the top ten I’ll have a couple of honorable mentions. I’ll also list any singles/videos off that album, my personal favorite tracks, and any further listening from that artist or producer. Ready? Here we go!
Bone Thugs-n-Harmony: E. 1999 Eternal
If you know me well you know that Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is my favorite music artists of all time. So it was difficult to find my favorite album from them but in the end I had to go with their first LP E. 1999 Eternal. And there are a lot of great tracks on this album so I know I made the right choice. When I first heard Bone Thugs as a youth there style was just so unique. And I feel this album was done in a great way that rap albums weren’t done during that time. Bone has their radio hits but if you want to hear a raw great Bone album I would recommend anyone picking this LP up.
Personal Favorites: Eternal, Crept & We Came, Down ’71 (The Getaway), Buddah Lovaz, Mo’ Murda, Crossroad (Original Mix)
Further Listening: Creepin On Ah Come Up, The Art Of War, BTNHResurrection, Thug World Order
The Click: Down and Dirty
Are you familiar with the rapper E-40? Well this is the group that he started with which consists of himself, Suga-T (his sister), D-Shot (his brother), and B-Legit (his cousin). I listened to this album for the first time a few years ago and I was very blown away by what I heard. It may be from the early 90s but I was very impressed with it. When the group the group got signed to Jive a few years later some of the songs were remixed. However some of the original songs were omitted. Listen to both versions of this album and you be the judge of which tracks are the best.
Personal Favorites: Let’s Get Drunk, Street Life, Tramp Dogs, Old School (1995 Reissue), The Sh*t That Will F*** With Your Brain Boy, Porno Star
Further Listening: Game Related, E-40: Federal, E-40: The Mail Man, E-40: In A Major Way
Coolio: Gangsta’s Paradise
This was the first LP I bought with my own money as a kid. Coolio some of you may remember was one of the hottest rappers in the mid 90s and when I saw that he was putting out a CD with one of my favorite songs by him at the time I knew I had to get my hands on it. It sold well and it is a really good album. If you think Coolio is a G rated rapper think again. He goes hard on this and is one of my favorite LPs to this day. I don’t care what anyone says.
Personal Favorites: Geto Highlites, Kinda High Kinda Drunk, Is This Me?, Bright As The Sun, The Revolution
Further Listening: It Takes A Thief, WC & The Maad Circle: Ain’t A Damn Thang Changed
Gym Class Heroes: The Quilt
This was my favorite LP back from 2008. I loved this CD from top to bottom. Very well produced and I think at the time Gym Class Heroes were very underrated. Cool & Dre produced some of tracks on this album along with Patrick Stump and they all sound good. I feel Gym Class was a different type of band at the time trying to find their sound. And they made it work with this masterpiece. This is their best work in my opinion.
Personal Favorites: Catch Me If You Can, Live a Little, Don’t Tell Me It’s Over, Home, Kissin’ Ears, No Place To Run
Further Listening: The Papercut Chronicles, As Cruel as School Children
Ice Cube: Lethal Injection
Now I know what some of you Ice Cube fans are thinking! How can this be your favorite Ice Cube LP? All of Cube’s work is great but Lethal Injection is my favorite. Some people may criticize it for trying to keep up with the g-funk sound coming out of the West Coast at the time but I feel like he killed it. If you have ever seen him in concert he performs quite a bit of these songs. It’s very well done and isn’t very long. Short and to the point. It was reissued years back.
Personal Favorites: Ghetto Bird, What Can I Do?, Lil Ass Gee, Make It Rough, Make It Smooth, Down For Whatever, Enemy, Lil Ass Gee (Eerie Gumbo Remix) (2003 Reissue)
Further Listening: Amerikkka’s Most Wanted, Kill At Will, Death Certificate, The Predator
Linkin Park: Meteora
Linkin Park was one of my favorite bands from my high school years. This was a difficult one but I feel Meteora was the band’s best work. It wasn’t a long LP so I can run through it quickly whenever I feel like listening to Linkin Park. So many memories off this one and I’m still sad I never got to see this band live when I had the chance. RIP Chester Bennington!
Further Listening: Hybrid Theory, Minutes To Midnight, Fort Minor: The Rising Tied
Michael Jackson: Bad
I remember having this old audio cassette as far back as I can remember. I wish I didn’t lose it cause I’m sure it would be worth a lot of money today….. maybe. I had to get the King of Pop on this list and why not a better LP than Bad. This record has no skippable tracks in my opinion. Michael Jackson was truly a genius. You know you have an excellent album if just about all of it was released as a single.
Personal Favorites: Bad, Man In The Mirror, Another Part Of Me, Smooth Criminal, Liberian Girl, Speed Demon
Further Listening: Off The Wall, Thriller, Dangerous
2Pac: Strictly 4 My N.IG.G.A.Z…
Now 2Pac has had many great LPs. But this one is my favorite. I definitely think its his funkiest album with the production. You kind of can’t go wrong with 2Pac in my opinion because all of his albums were great. But I feel this one flys under the radar. A lot of great songs on this LP. I feel like this is the album that started getting 2Pac a lot more attention than he was already getting during that time. It kind of sucks that none of his LPs have been reissued yet. Maybe we’ll get some one of these days.
Personal Favorites: Last Wordz, Peep Game, Strugglin’, Guess Who’s Back, Representin’ 93, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z…, The Streetz Are Deathrow,
Further Listening: 2Pacalypse Now, Thug Life, Me Against The World, All Eyez On Me
Now I know many of you may not be familiar with the Twinz. That’s ok. Their album was produced by Warren G. This masterpiece is g-funk at its finest. Anytime I turn this the LP on I’m always in for a relaxing time. Regardless of if you like rap or not you have to admit that it at least sounds really good. Look for this one on your favorite streaming service. You won’t be disappointed.
Further Listening: The Dove Shack: This Is The Shack
Warren G: Regulate…G Funk Era
This album introduced a sound that was never heard before. Now Warren G may not have invented g-funk but he sure capitalized on the sound. People to this day still bump his hits like they were made yesterday. Why don’t they make music like this these days?Anyway a great sounding album that featured him Nate Dogg, The Dove Shack, and the Twinz. If it is any track you all should check out on this LP it is Regulate.
Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! First and foremost I want to say thank you to anyone who has recently subscribed to my blog. The support means a lot and if you haven’t already follow your boy on Twitter. I promise I’ll start posting a bit more on Twitter. As far as I’m concerned I ain’t hard to find. LOL! If you want to get in contact with me you should know how to do it.
So the title of this blog! Where have I been? Well the good news is I haven’t been gone that long. I mean I had a post out last month. LOL! But it does feel like an eternity since I last posted on here. So let me tell you where I have been. I’VE BEEN AROUND! I guess you can say I just took a long unannounced break. And as a blogger or content creator in general I feel we all can use a break at one point or another. The burnout can be real and you don’t want to get to the point where you feel that doing something that is supposed to be fun turns into work, or starts to feel like work. But in all honest truth I have been busy and with the free time I did have instead of blogging I decided to play some video games. One thing about being a blogger in the gaming niche is finding time to write about the games your playing. Well in my case anyway.
Well I have still been podcasting. The Game N’ Watch Podcast is the name of it for people who are new to my site. Definitely follow myself and my partner in crime (aka my best friend) Fines Dabbs on that podcast. We are available on many different platforms. Whatever platform you listen to your podcasts on we are probably on there. And with E3 coming we have a lot of planned shows. You don’t want to miss a beat. We are going strong and the future of the show is very exciting.
As for games I’ve been playing. I’ve recently picked up MLB The Show 19 for my PS4. I’ve popped in WWE 2K19 a few times since Wrestlemania as well. But I’m not going to lie I haven’t been doing playing on my PS4 as much. The Switch has been my main console of choice as of late. I’ve been playing Cuphead, Tetris 99, The Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Octopath Traveler. On the retro side of things I’ve been playing Donkey Kong Country 2, Tetris Attack, and Super Mario Bros. 3. I can play a whole ton of retro games but there aren’t enough hours in the day. And with the trailer for Super Mario Maker 2 out I broke out my 2DS XL and started playing some Super Mario Maker for 3DS. Super Mario Maker 2 along with Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order are the next big triple-A releases I plan on getting. I’m very excited about both these games and I know they will hold me over with plenty of content this summer.
As for future plans with the blog I will do my best to update you with content weekly. With the podcast and all the other stuff I got going on during the week I’m hoping I can get at least 1-2 posts out on a weekly basis. I also really want to get back into streaming as well. I know I can set it up to do the basic of streams. I do eventually want the camera pointing at me so you all can see my beautiful face. The room I play games in however is a bit tight. But my goal is to stream for you guys at least once a week. The days I was doing it seemed to be just bad for me. I think with my current idea I’ll be able to deliver on weekly streams if I stick with the schedule. So if you are not already give me a follow on Twitch. Content is coming. Any games you would like me to stream?
As far as plans for future posts I do got some posts coming soon. I’ll leave you all in suspense of what it is. Until next time! Blogging live to you and yours! It’s been your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Stay cool and stay real! Keep coming back y’all! Thanks for the support.
Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Got another interview for you guys. This is a blogger by the name of Ashley Girres and her blog is a A Fierce Mind. Be sure to check out her blog. She’s a great writer. Tell her that your boy 2TALL sent you. And if you have a Twitter follow her on there. Her tweets will have you ROTFL. Without a further ado here’s the interview. Enjoy y’all!
2TALL: Hello Ashley. First things first. Thank you for doing this interview. I really appreciate it. So what was the determining factor that got you into blogging?
Ashley: I have always found writing to be therapeutic. I have been journaling since I could write my name and it’s been a lifelong dream of mine to be a published author. Once I had my daughter, my drive to accomplish this goal and to leave something for her to hold on to, a piece of me for her to have forever became undeniable. I wasn’t sure where to begin, so I decided writing in short story form via a blog would be the easiest way for me to get my feet wet. I’ve since began using my blog entries to start writing my book.
2T: Becoming a publisher would awesome. I hope you get there. You have a supporter if you do. Care to explain what your blog is about?
A: My blog is half a compilation of my life story written in short story form. These entries are styled in a way that depicts my memory of “then” and then ends with my views on said experience “now”. The other half of my blog is “Letters to Siena” which is an ongoing collection of letters I’ve been writing periodically to my daughter since the day she was born. These letters are my way of chronicling milestones as well as giving her advice and sharing with her my thoughts, feelings, experiences, perspectives… and whatever else I feel I have to offer her as her mother.
2T: How did you come up with the name A Fierce Mind?
A: As I’ve made my way through life, I’ve realized my greatest asset is my mind. I’ve experienced a lot of adversity, trauma, and an ongoing battle for my health. But, I’m proud to say I keep a positive mindset. I remain optimistic and no matter how many times I get knocked down, I stand back up and persevere. I credit this wholly on my mental toughness. In sharing my story with the world, my hope is not only that they gain something from it, but also that they walk away thinking to themselves “she is fierce”.
2T: That’s the feeling I got when visiting your blog. What do you enjoy most about blogging?
A: I find it to be extremely therapeutic. It’s a way for me to express myself, process things, and connect with others in some of the most profound aspects of life. When I first set out to share my story, I felt extremely vulnerable. I was worried about relinquishing my privacy, giving others “ammo” to judge me, and exposing myself in the most unguarded of ways, but the most unexpected level of confidence has come from it. I feel more comfortable in my own skin than I ever have in my entire life. Instead of vulnerable I ended up feeling empowered. Exposing myself, robbed others of the opportunity. Owning who I am, wholly, and sharing it with others has given me a sense of “Come judge me when you’ve laid out all of your own skeletons” … which most people are unwilling to do. It’s a powerful thing.
2T: What do you find to be the most challenging about blogging?
A: Time. I wish I had more time. Between owning a business and being a wife and a mother and a friend and now trying to write my book… I just wish I had more time. I have so many things to say. So much to tell. So much I feel people need to hear to know they’re not alone. I want to make a difference with my experiences… but, I often wonder if I’ll ever have enough time.
2T: Yeah I wish I had more time to blog as well. But unfortunately it’s not full time job at the moment. What are some of your favorite blogs out there that you enjoy reading?
2T: What do you expect readers to gain when they visit your blog for the first time?
A: When someone comes to my blog, whether they’re there to read my life story or there to read Letters to Siena, my main goal is that when they leave, they feel like they’d gained some sort of new perspective or they are reminded that they are not alone.
2T: What piece of advice do you have for all bloggers out there? From beginner to seasoned veteran?
A: It really depends on what their goals might be. My biggest tips are: self-host, use social media like crazy, make a writing schedule, and just have fun. Don’t worry what others are doing or not doing. Just do your thing. Be authentic. The rest will all work itself out.
2T: Yeah just be you! Great advice. So we’ve talked back and forth through DM on Twitter. You are big into sports. And also through reading some of your posts you played sports during your youth. What were some of the sports you played growing up?
A: Yes, I was huge into playing sports when I was younger! I did everything from gymnastics, to soccer, basketball, volleyball, track & field… I was a three-sport athlete in high school, sticking with volleyball, basketball, and track.
2T: Wow. Way more than me! Do you play any sports today?
A: After high school I became a high school volleyball coach for 10 years. During that time I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis which has vastly effected my joints and ability to be very physically active, so now I mostly just enjoy sports as a spectator.
2T: What is your favorite sport (or sports) you like to watch on TV? Care to share any of your favorite teams?
A: That’s tough, probably football. Although, I do enjoy watching baseball, college basketball, hockey, and…. Believe it or not, I thoroughly enjoy watching golf on tv. My favorite teams are the Oregon Ducks, Notre Dame, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Cardinals, and my favorite golfer is Phil Mickelson
2T: That’s a wide variety. Aside from sports do you have any other hobbies?
A: My other hobbies would be anything to do with creating and writing. I’m also a huge bookworm. Aside from that I enjoy being with my husband and daughter adventuring.
2T: It’s always great when you have family around you. Now I know you don’t game but I got to ask the question. Any memories of playing video games throughout your lifetime?
A: I remember playing a couple games on our Atari. I also remember playing Mortal Kombat, Sonic, Mario Bros. on our Gameboy, and then Mario Kart.
2T: Those are great games. Time to switch it up now!
A: Tough! Umm, I’m going to have to go with Shawshank Redemption, but there are so many!
2T: That’s a great movie. Favorite cartoon show?
A: Looney Tunes were my jam
2T: Can’t go wrong with them. Clippers or Lakers?
A: Eww. Blazers! Fine, Clippers if you’re going to make me pick
2T: Great choice. The Ice Cube’s Predator or Ice Cube’s Lethal Injection?
A: Lethal Injection, easily.
2T: Favorite color?
2T: Favorite dessert?
A: Ice Cream (one of the few “sweets” I truly enjoy)
2T: Coke or Pepsi?
A: Damn! Coke if I’m just drinking a Coke, but Pepsi products, because Mountain Dew is life.
2T: Favorite cereal?
A: Honey Bunches of Oats
2T: Nike or Adidas?
2T: Baseball or Basketball?
A: Baseball to watch. Basketball to play.
2T: Apple or Android?
2T: Guilty Pleasure?
A: Oh man… umm, I love chips. I’m a sucker for chips.
2T: That’s one of mine. LOL! Mario or Sonic?
2T: Can’t go wrong with Mario. LOL!
I would like to once again thank Ashley for the interview. Like I said earlier definitely check her blog out and Twitter. Who wants to be interview next? Don’t you all come say yes at once now! LOL! I got more interviews coming. So I hope you enjoy the ones I’ve done so far. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading folks. Keep on bloggin’ bloggers!
Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! A lot of games are coming out this month. Several of the games I got my eye on are Cuphead, Dangerous Driving, Mortal Kombat 11 and Days Gone. But there are other great games coming out too that you all should all keep your eyes on. What games coming out this month are you excited about? Let me know in the poll or in the comments below. If I missed any game on the list I made let me know!
What’s good kind folks out there? Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! April Fool’s y’all ! I had no posts that day. I made you all think that I was going to retire. LOL! Had you going didn’t I? Didn’t I? LOL! Just kidding. I was a bit busy last week. But the month is still just getting started. Let me recap last month and then I’ll talk to about what will be coming for this month.
So last month I did several product reviews. Hopefully you guys found them helpful. I know they were Switch related but I’m not going to lie I feel right now it is the console that has the most accessories out for it right now. Definitely go back and check them out if you haven’t done so yet. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to do any game reviews. I’ve been playing games but I’ve really been thinking about how I want to deliver game reviews for you guys. I think the format I have right now that I use to review video games (both current and retro) is a bit boring. So I want to take some time and figure how to do it in a more interactive way. If you all have any suggestions or feedback for that feel free to reach out.
As for this month I’ll still be gaming. I never slow down on that. Lately I have been playing Octopath Traveler. Great game so far. I’m about 10 hours in. I was playing around with WWE 2K19 last night. Yes it was Wrestlemania this past Sunday. That actually gives me an idea for a blog post come SummerSlam. I may need some help with that from some fellow bloggers out there. You know who you are. I got MLB The Show 19. I haven’t cracked it open yet but I will before the end of the month….. hopefully. And a game I’m real excited to play in the month of April is Cuphead. I hear it’s challenging but I’m excited. I have preordered for my Switch. Can’t wait. Wish me luck. I’ve also been playing Tetris 99 which I finally got first place on. One time just isn’t enough though since I keep on playing.
Also last month my guy Matt from Normal Happenings put out another collaboration piece that I was apart of. It was entitled Tracking Shells: Our Mario Kart Memories. Go ahead and check it out. I can be found in the Flower Cup. He also recently just put out a Discord server as well so if you are on Discord and want to get involved in that server definitely reach out to him. It looks real nice. I was also apart of a piece with the Poli Sistas from Double Jump which came out back in February. Not sure if I mentioned it last month but we talk about our Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC predictions. Check that piece when you get a chance and see also what the sistas got going on at Double Jump.
As for blog posts coming out this week I was recently nominated for an award by NekoJonez. If you haven’t visited his blog do yourself a favor and do so. A lot of great content over there. So I will have an award post coming this month. I also have an interview I just done with a very special blogger to be named when I put out the interview. It should be out by the end of the week. And I have reached out to more of you about interviews. I’ll send some more out very soon just be patient with me. And as for The Game N’ Watch Podcast it’s going very strong. If you want to be a guest please reach out. We’ll make it work regardless of time zone or whatever part of the world you live in.
So do you guys out there have any monthly goals you would like to reach? Let me know in the comments below. Until next time! Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading folks. More great content is coming. Thanks for reading.
Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Got another unboxing for you guys. This is a Nintendo Switch accessory called Satisfye The Ultimate Gaming Grip. It looks cool and feels great. And after getting my hands on it I just want to play my Switch in handheld mode all the time. If you haven’t seen the video check it out below.
The Ultimate Pro Gaming Grip for the Nintendo Switch - Satisfye - YouTube
You can also check their website too by clicking here. Aside from the grip they also have some neat cases for it as well as cases for the Switch and your game cards. So here we go.
Here’s the nice rectangular box that it comes in.
Here it is out of the box and standing up. It stands up strong and it beats using the stand that is in the back of the Switch or the other stand that you can buy separately.
It also comes with thumb grips. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Anyone up for a game of Super Mario Bros. 3?
When it is in my hands if feels great and it has definitely changed the way I play my Switch. I’ve been playing a bit more in handheld more. What can say? Feels like a Dualshock controller. It feels real comfortable for me because I have big hands. I’m not a big fan of the joy cons with the small buttons. But it really feels like a regular old handheld with this accessory equipped to the Switch. And for the price it makes it even more worth it in my opinion.
Now I gotta ask you guys. Do you guys also use this grip or is there another one out there that you feel is better? Do you think that the Switch plays well without a grip? I’m curious to know. Let me know in the comments below. Until next time. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading folks. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! So has the future of gaming arrived? The Google Stadia was shown off earlier this week at the GDC 2019 and to the looks of it is a game changer. I discussed this earlier this week on The Game N’ Watch Podcast with Fines. If you want to listen to that episode click here. But as much as it looks incredible I have a whole ton of questions. If you haven’t seen the video you can watch it below:
Stadia GDC 2019 Gaming Announcement - YouTube
I was blown away by what I saw. Google isn’t playing and they want to make a big impact in the gaming industry. I think this is very good and it gives consumers options. Many people thought that Google would be showing off hardware but they showed off a streaming service instead. And it looks like you can stream game on devices you probably already own. From cell phones, to laptops, to tablets and smart TV’s I’m sure if you are reading this you own probably at least one of these. They showed off a nice controller and it looks pretty legit. But I do have questions.
First question is your internet connection going to matter? I find it hard to believe that regardless of your internet connection you’ll be able to get up to high speeds and latency lags streaming these games. I’m curious to see if it will work on a SLOW connection.
Second is how will voice chat work? I’m sure Google has something up their sleeve but I feel more should’ve been presented to us at the presentation. Will they have their own chat service? Will you have to use a cell phone app? Will you have to use Discord? This is something that gamers will want to know. They are going to have to tell us soon what is happening with that.
And my third question that will be my last for this blog post is where are the games? We know that exclusive games are under development. But where are they? We know Ubisoft is going to be developing games for Google but where are they? That is the most important thing I feel not just for them but anyone trying to get into the gaming industry. The games. What games are you bringing to the table that are going to be awesome that isn’t going to mimic Microsoft’s, Nintendo’s or Sony’s first party IP’s? If they are just going with straight 3rd party games that you can play on any of those other consoles that won’t be good. Even if you can just “stream” them.
Now I do like the fact that the consumer has options with what Google is bringing to the table. If you want to play games without any physical media or hardware (with the exception of your controller) then this thing is for you. If you don’t care about owning your games then this thing is for you. And if this thing is for you that’s ok. But after thinking about it for sometime this won’t be the end of owning your games. If they start this service and then a few years they end the service that won’t be good? You can never play those games again. And we’ve seen situations where this has happened. At the end of the day I like the idea owning my games usually from a physical standpoint whenever possible. I think for the more traditional gamer it will be a hard sale for Google. At the end of the day I just need to see more though. It looks to good to be true. All I know is that if they plan on putting this thing out later this year they need to tell us more very SOON!
Anyway those are just my thoughts. I want to read what you guys think. Leave me comments below and I’ll comment back. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! The Price of the PlayStation Classic just keeps on dropping. If you look at the right places you could get it for as low as $40. I finally couldn’t resist anymore so I caved in and purchased one. I probably won’t be opening it up anytime soon but if you really want one they are much cheaper now than ever before.
So right now they are on sale at Best Buy for a retail price of $39.99 here in the states. I have heard that Costco has had sales on them as well. At other places they are still $59.99 and that is a bit too much for my blood. I would’ve loved to see the thing dropped to $20 but I don’t think that is happening. And if it does drop that low I feel that retailers will just be having a clearance sale trying to get rid of the units. And I’m usually bad at getting to those. So I figured I would get one now rather than waiting until later.
So why did I buy the PS1 Classic you ask? To hack it of course! LOL! It gives me a project to work on later on down the line sometime this year. And if you do purchase one I would hope you would want to hack yours also. I’m still disappointed with what they came up for the lineup of games for this mini console. I also thought it was a bit puzzling it didn’t come with a power brick but I got plenty of those laying around. Even though I got one I can say that I’m happy I didn’t spend $100 on the thing. And if you did spend that much on it when it first came out I feel sorry for you. I was very skeptical when doing my research on the thing. Sony should really take lessons from Nintendo on how to put together a mini console.
The hacking technology for the PS1 Classic has gotten better over the past few months. There are a ton of videos you can watch on YouTube if you want to learn about Bleem Sync and hacking the PS1 Classic. I know of quite a bit titles I want to add to it but I’m not going to put on the whole library like some people are. But if you want to do that knock yourself out.
I just wanted to put this post out and let you guys know that the prices for the PS1 Classic have been getting cheaper. If you are interested in getting one definitely go for. So I ask people are you going to buy one now or does it need to get a little cheaper? And if you do buy it are you going to hack it? What games will you put on it? What games should Sony have put on it? Let me know in the comments below! Until next time blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading folks and keep on gaming gamerz!
