East Coast Rapper, Nudi Blockchain makes his presence known in Hip-Hop and more

Nudi Blockchain is a rapper who resides on the east coast, The New Jersey and New York City area to be exact. His ties to the streets kept him in and out of the studio part-time. Nudi was born in New Orleans, raised in Bremerton, and beat the odds in Seattle, Washington. Although life for Nudi Blockchain was rough growing up, he stuck to the G-code and is making a presence in the underground scene. He moved to NYC/NJ in his mid-twenties and landed a sponsorship deal with All Access DVD, and the Dogg Pound Next Generation. He turned down offers from Tommy Boy Records and The Dogg Pound in order to remain in control.

Lately, Nudi Blockchain (also known as Boy Face) is doing big things. He has been spotted in clubs shaking hands with celebrities like 50 Cent. He got the moniker ‘Blockchain’ from being a cryptocurrency expert and owns a website for a cryptocurrency called bankkup.com. His new short film “The Perfect Song” just landed on Amazon Prime Video where he makes his acting debut. The film is written by Nudi and depicts how wicked the rap industry can be and features his songs and other east coast artists. During this time, he launches a site to sell his rap verses called barsforbeats.com and a Rolling Paper line called ‘Groovy Hooman’ rolling papers for the “420 hippies.” They can be found on Amazon and webuyblack.com.

Recently, his new single Slaptastik is a dope west coast track, with some killer east coast type lyrics to complete the perfect hiphop unity. “Slaptastik” reminds people that Nudi spends time in the west coast gang culture, and made his way to the east to set up business permanently. While his Spotify streams are steadily climbing, Nudi’s new single has similar expectations and will be available on 06/25. The single is produced by Frankgotthepack and packs that fire for streets!

Nudi Blockchain has been featured in the ‘Urban Magazine’ publication and is looking to book shows in the New York area. Follow the rest of his journey on social media and digital music platforms like Instagram and Soundcloud.

He told his fans that he feels like the world needs feel-good music and said he feels that he can produce them better outside of hip-hop. Back in 2017, OnlyJame moves to LA to further his career. After the move, he changed his sound and style to a more melodic rap some songs even seeming more R&B. This change has pushed Jame’s career up another level. The Music Collective, K.U.T.G.O.I. releases their latest project, “Reboot” on all digital music platforms

Formed in August 2018, in Brampton Ontario Canada, Jay Kellz and Dre Day came together to establish the Music Group K.U.T.G.O.I (Knowledge Undermines the Greatest of Ignorance) consisting of Jay Kellz and Ghostt as the artists and Dre Day as the Producer/Engineer who also dabbles in the spotlight of a recording artist.

Individually, Jay Kellz and Dre Day began creating music 13 years ago while Ghostt is a fresh body on the scene holding 2 years under his belt. Dre Day was creating beats out of Los Angeles and Las Vegas while Jay Kellz was writing, rapping, and performing in Canada, but neither seemed to scratch the surface with their individual efforts. Jay z, 50 Cent, BG, Mos Def, Andre 3000, Michael Jackson, Nas, Missy Elliot are a few of the musical influences of the members of K.U.T.G.O.I.

What K.U.T.G.O.I creates artistically isn’t seen as the norm for what rap/hip-hop is geared towards today. Knowledge and empowerment are heavily placed within their music to give a message to their audience alongside a funky beat not so similar to what we normally hear, this is what sets them apart from other groups.

Jay Kellz style is gritty and old-school, you can tell what era his passion flows from. Ghostt has an uncanny rapping style alongside a lisp that draws a slow flow and well thought of metaphors to create a picture for the audience. Dre Day is the heart and soul of the group, the gears that keep the others going, the mastermind behind the production and engineering of their music who enjoys to throw down an old school 3 verses with an energetic and comedic side.

“The Chew It Ups Vol. 1” – a mixtape from K.U.T.G.O.I -released in September 2018. The project is compiled of single releases – makes its debut periodically on Tuesdays on Instagram, and Soundcloud. Presently in 2019, will be a breakout year for K.U.T.G.O.I, as they gear up to release a plethora of singles to distribute starting with “Reboot.”

Watch for many solo projects in which they prepare themselves to be heard and seen more.

Bricen Mac releases official music video for“God First” featuring Hux
Better known by his stage name, Bricen Mac is an American spoken word artist, poet, writer, and filmmaker from Danville, VA, and uses these platforms to publicize his art. They allow him to share a personal story of pain to progress in ways that spread positive vibes and energy to those in need.
Recently, Bricen released the visuals to his newest track. “God First”. Like many, he was raised to believe that putting God first meant to put myself on the back burner and have compassion for everyone else. It meant that he had to treat others with thoughtfulness, love, and kindness, but not out of selfishness. It meant that everyone else mattered and he had to “be good” by putting himself last. Bricen says of the track “Putting your thoughts, feelings, and desires last is like putting God last. When you believe that you must deny the real you because this is the good and loving thing to do. You disconnect from your truth and when you disconnect from your truth you disconnect from God. You have to know your worth and treat yourself with love self-care isn’t selfish. God lives inside all of us it’s not about religion it’s about a relationship.”
Traumatic events at the age of 5 years old left him scarred. Unable to stop the pain inside of him from growing, the journey from pain to progress began. Bricen began his journey by defining what happiness means to him -true self- love and inner peace. Bricen Mac hopes that the narratives of his struggle will help to lead people to self-knowledge, self-love, and most of all, inner strength. He started the slogan  From Pain 2 Progress to not only tell his story but also to promote positivity, knowledge of self and key values such as self-love, He explains his struggles in depth through his spoken words because he always states his struggle will be someone else’s strength.

KING LOUIE SIGNS PARTNERSHIP DEAL AND RELEASES HIS FIRST SINGLE “TESLA” IN FIVE YEARS

2019 marks the return of King Louie. The godfather of Chicago Drill rap returns with “Tesla,” his first single in five years after signing a new partnership deal with Chicago’s Machine Entertainment Group.

Before the remix to Chief Keef’s 2012 hit “I Don’t Like,” King Louie was already anointed Chicago Southside royalty. He gave, and continues to give, hip-hop everywhere a colorful view into the darkness of his tribulations and surroundings. Crafted by fellow Chicagoan C-sick, King Louie’s new track “Tesla’s” drum-heavy, menacing production perfectly underscores King Louie’s innovative approach at articulating the hustler’s plight.

On his new partnership, King Louie says: “It’s exciting partnering with Machine and finally being able to get the music out to the supporters. Patience is a virtue, M.U.B.U.” Machine Entertainment Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Bowden adds: “We believe in King Louie and are looking forward to a successful partnership together. We’re excited to continue to grow the Machine Entertainment Group roster with premier talent.”With the return of “Tesla” and more new music on the way, 2019 is the year of the resurgence of Louie – the street rap King with a million dollar smile.

More on King Louie:

King Louie birthed the next generation of Windy City MCs like G Herbo and inspired colossal collabs with homegrown stars like Twista (“Koolin”) and Yeezy (“Send It Up” ). Intuitively, Louie introduced himself to early fans by first feeding the streets from which he came with initial mixtapes Boss Shit (2007) and Cloud 9 (2009).

Most impressive is that Louie’s career accomplishments––from growing his career online before “Internet Rapper” was a term, to appearing on the Yeezus album––were conceived between professional turbulence and personal tragedy. At the end of the last decade, a car struck him, suffering two broken legs. Despite having to relearn how to walk, he continued flooding fans with new mixtapes: More Boss Shit, Chiraq Drillinois, and Man Up, Band Up. 2014’s Tony, which featured his biggest records to date––“B.O.N,” “Live & Die In Chicago,” and “Til I Meet Selena”––and led to his 20-city Tony Tour.

Tribulations would persist in 2015, as Louie would suffer a bullet to the head. However, due to his persistence and the fidelity of his fanbase – being added as direct support on Chance The Rapper’s Be Encouraged Tour in 2017 – the music has prevailed above all.

New artist, Unidentified Music, uses his painful past to connect with others overcoming depression and anxiety

Unidentified Music has experienced a lot of highs and lows for someone so young. The up-and-coming artist out of Southern California said his experiences with depression and anxiety have given him a unique point of view of the world. And it’s through that lens that he finds powerful words that he hopes will inspire others and help them along their own journeys and challenges.

His new single, “Give It All I Got” is the perfect testament to who he is and what he’s trying to accomplish with his music. He relates a time in his life not too long ago where he “hit a low,” and one of the only ways he’s found to climb out of that is through music. His passion for writing and creating amazing sounds has been therapeutic for him and this song examines the ways that this can be true for other people as well.

“It’s one of the first songs I ever wrote,” he said. “It’s a symbolic song for me because, at the time of writing it, I was in a position of investing myself full-time into music. I was making the mental decision that I’m ready to give it all I got because if I don’t, I’m gonna die. That’s a reference to the depression and anxiety in my life. I’m not there yet. I’m kind of like in-between the let-down and the come-back. I hit a low and I’m trying to find my way back to being happy, which is what I would call the high. I’m living my life in a personally successful kind of way and this song is kind of the middle ground of that journey.

It’s kind of me saying, ‘I don’t really know where this is gonna go but I’m gonna give it all I got.’”

Unidentified Music said he really wants to become known for making meaningful and understandable music. His lyrics are more relatable for the average person going through life and dealing with their own highs and lows. People who have lived a happy life and never dealt with any hardship or loss or sadness might listen to his music and wonder why he’s whining about things. But he knows that those people are few and far between because the majority of the world has experienced some kind of pain or hardship or loss. They’ll understand the struggles he talks about in his music.

“My connection with the general public when it comes to my music and my ability to be versatile is what sets me apart,” he said. “I also like to hit different corners of the same genre and through that, I have the emotional music and the lyrical music while also creating the crowd-pleasing, commercial sound. More than anything, I want to make music that encourages people to pursue their passion relentlessly and never give up.”

Unidentified Music not only motivates people with his original sound, but he also runs his own non-profit organization that he created to bring healing and awareness to depression and anxiety. He started doing that before he even got into music and he hopes that his songs will become successful enough to help him fund it and reach out to more people worldwide.
