I always love the energy of the full moon – well … almost always. Sometimes it gets a bit intense, which is why I ask people that tune into moon energy to let me know, in advance … what to be mindful of. I’m one of those types of people that would rather have awareness ahead of time … than not … so … Here is some great info for this month’s FULL MOON by Melissa Corter – Enjoy – SDJ

May 18th Full Moon in Scorpio

Each Full Moon is an opportunity to witness our predestined intentions coming to fruition. The goals, dreams, and desires we now see before us are the culmination of our alignment during the last New Moon, two weeks earlier. The Scorpio Full Moon escorts emotions to the surface; ready or not, they serve us and call us to view the obscure layers within the mind.

The Full Moon represents the hidden self, the shadow side of our psyche and being. We unconsciously try to hide this from others; yet every now and then we give them a glimpse and allow our vulnerable side to shine through. The gift of this Scorpio Moon is often hidden in the potentiality of experiences. Reach beyond the facade of fear – this is not a solid reality, only a temporary experience. This Scorpio Full Moon can accentuate latent fears, not to cause harm or create discomfort, yet to assist you in revealing the necessary shifts a part of you has been called into creating. This is a blessing, as it allows you to witness the energy brewing beneath the surface for the release of stifling beliefs. The more constraint you feel internally, the greater the desire will be to spring forth from the cocoon you have now outgrown.

The May Full Moon is also known as the Flower Moon, providing evidence of spiritual abundance as tiny buds open, reminding us to keep an open heart in the presence of change. Scorpio energy can feel intense, although the Moon’s essence is supportive in nature if you allow this to be the preeminent intention during this time.

Depending on the tribe, May’s Full Moon was called the Full Flower Moon as well as Mother’s Moon, Milk Moon, and Corn Planting Moon. The May Moon marked a time of increasing fertility with temperatures warm enough for safely bearing young, a near end to late frosts, and plants in bloom.

(Farmer’s Almanac)

Full moons influence the undercurrent and emotional aspects of our being, the divine feminine – receptive, open, and always listening. Scorpio is a water sign, so be mindful of heightened emotions and sensitivities around the subjects of love, relationships, and passion. Allow this Full Moon to expose the internal dramas. Release them to the light of the moon for transformation, liberating the Scorpio energy of internal emotion, transforming it into pure, creative, expression. Scorpio energy can help align deep truth, making clear agendas from the human ego, moving the mental patters into the heart for new levels of channeled creativity.

“Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness.”
~Anne Frank

Tips for May 18th Full Moon in Scorpio:

Open your heart to those who deserve more of it at this time, be patient with yourself, and make the time to honor those who been a part of your journey.  Witness the tricks of the mind and allow the emotions to flow through you. Let the element of water guide you with divine knowing of how to help you move, clear yourself and your mind. Channel emotion into creativity – an abundance of ideas are now ready to move through you, allowing past projects to take on a new form. Be mindful of what needs your attention and energy at this time and release what feels like it has become flat.

Ways you can allow this Full Moon to support you:

  1. Find out when the moon rise is in your city by going here: http://www.timeanddate.com/moon/
  2. Find a place where you can see or sense the energy of the full moon. Preferably a comfortable position with the moon in sight. If you can sit outside, on the earth for this exercise you may notice a larger shift.
  3. Have your journal, or a piece of paper and writing instrument nearby. Tune in to your body, and ask your body to bring to surface a situation you would like resolution with.
  4. Follow your breath, and breath in and out deeply and slowly for five cycles of breath. You can even count like this: 5…. I am breathing in….5 I am breathing out. 4…. I am breathing in….4 I am breathing out. Continue to breath in this manner until you feel settled and present.
  5. Now, bringing your awareness back to the body, notice if there is wisdom and information for you in the form of tension, relaxation, spaciousness, emotion, color, or sensation.
  6. Get curious and stay present. Start writing about the sensations and continue asking internally for your body to reveal more.
  7. After about five to ten minutes, ask your body to provide you with some form of insight to your situation. Notice again, the information in the form of sensations and continue to write anything that comes to you.
  8. Examine your writing, is there a step you can take it letting go, forgiveness, or surrender? The Full Moon always contains potent wisdom for you in the form of subtle guidance.
  9. After you spend a few minutes in reflection with your writing, you may burn your papers to transmute any energy that may have come up for you.

**Reminder: each full moon will impact you for up to 3 days prior to the full moon and 3 days after the full moon.

Full moons are always powerful times for releasing and letting go. Try creating your own ceremony or honoring of this time to embrace the energy that this time has to help you create space in your life for what you truly desire. As always remember, you are not alone in experiencing this phase, be mindful of this when encountering others over these next few days. Send them love as they are also shining a light on themselves and may be extra sensitive during this time. The next full moon is in the sign of Sagittarius on June17th, it is known as the Full Strawberry Moon.

April 19th 2019 Full Moon in Libra

Contrast is key as we navigate the energy of the April 19th Full Moon in the sign of Libra. So often we fear entering into the unknown, facing darkness, and witnessing the shadow; yet this is precisely the gift of contrast. The unknown brings miracles and the shadow can only exist with the presence of light. There is nothing for us to fear as this Full Moon calls us to face contrast. The Full Moon reminds us to face our own inner contradictions with love. The power of love heals, while the energy of the Moon provides a conduit for the healing to unfold.

Another theme of the April Full Moon is decision-making; trust you will make the right one, always going with your instinct. Trust your intuition, and decide from a place of conviction, even if all of the evidence has not yet arrived in your current view of reality. The universe will deliver; confidence is the catalyst to you receiving the signs that all is coming together and can be witnessed further in a few weeks during the next New Moon phase.

This Full Moon also highlights the importance of bringing energy and mindfulness into relationships. This includes your relationship to self, others, and to spirit (or your higher self). Gifts of communication are present with this moon … utilize that for the greater good and for deeper understanding and clarification of intentions. Holding this space for someone is precious and you are invited to provide this exchange with an open heart and a grounded perspective.

The Air sign of Libra strives to have balance, yet be mindful to include holding this intention for yourself. Instilling boundaries and healthy level of self-awareness is important while honoring the intentions of those around you. Invoke the charming heart of a Libra and you can’t go wrong when expressing your needs and desires from a place of love. If the indecisiveness nature of this sign gets you feeling a little unsure of yourself, fall back to your instinct and give yourself space to talk through your thoughts. Communication is key, and moving energy from the head down into the heart bring enormous clarity during this time.

April’s Full Moon, the Full Pink Moon, heralds the appearance of the “moss pink,” or wild ground phlox, one of the first spring flowers. It is also known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and the Fish Moon.  (Farmers Almanac)

Balance is a favorable word- this includes your finances and watching for unnecessary self-indulgent purchases sparked by emotion. When the intention is grounded in practicality, the success of the investment will feel more in alignment versus the distraction of emotionally spending. Use your emotions to guide and lead you with opportunities for deeper healing; be aware of any impulses to spend money when you may wish to do some journaling or self-care instead.

“Wise men put their trust in ideas and not in circumstances.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Tips for April 19th Full Moon in Libra:

Practice healthy levels of empathy, discernment, and detachment this month. Every Full Moon can affect us differently, and while we strive to show up in our best light, the shadow is rampant during this time. Have compassion for yourself and others while taking personal responsibility for you own reactions. Let go of wanting to control the perceptions of others, especially those linked to your communication and intentions. Their response is not your responsibility; expressing yourself in a manner that is aligned and rooted in truth and compassion is for you to look at, assess, and readjust as needed.

This Full Moon is ripe with potential energy to shift communication, opportunities, and relationships into harmony. Do not let the illusion of temporary discomforts deter you from trusting in your decisions. Give a little room for finding your flow in communication and detach from the outcome as best as you can.

  3. Have your journal, or a piece of paper and writing instrument available. And a burning bowl or fireplace to safely burn your papers in.
  4. Begin with closed eyes, begin to take a few deep cleansing breaths. Releasing any tension or worry from the body and your energy field. Bring your internal attention to an experience needing some further communication for healing. This can be something involving someone that causes discomfort within you when you think about them or the situation.
  5. Take some time now to journal writing out all of the things you wish you could say to this person, but perhaps the words get caught, you feel fear, or maybe even a sense that they will not understand you. Let it all out without judgement or censoring.
  6. Now, let yourself let it go, knowing your words were received and understood by your higher self. Burn your papers while imaging the communication coming to a healthy end or resolution. This helps you honor the experience, your expression, and to fully let go.

The next full moon is in the sign of Scorpio on May18th and is known as the Full Flower Moon.

March 20th 2019 Full Moon in Libra

A Full Moon in Libra, during Mercury Retrograde might have you feeling a little on edge; do not let the energy fool you, it is a powerful and mystical time, ripe with opportunities to cultivate deep inner peace. Regardless of what is happening externally, you are the master of your inner world and can shift from uncertainty to feeling balanced and focused. Become a witness to your environment, and commit to aligning with empowered and uplifting vibrations.

Mercury goes Retrograde about three times per year; basically, Mercury will be going in reverse. Right before and during Mercury retrograde many people go into fear; believing the next few weeks will be hell … in communication, technology, and life in general. This does not have to be YOUR story, in fact, Mercury retrograde can be extremely beneficial and insightful if you are open and ready to work through the hidden layers of your soul’s personal journey. You can actually feel empowered during Mercury Retrograde.

Mercury Retrograde invokes unnecessary fear and anxiety in many people, when it is an opportunity during this time to invest energy into the areas you wish to harmonize with while employing your tools of well-being. Meditate, rest, revisit beliefs, and focus on appreciation for the energy moving beneath the surface of conscious awareness. Libra strives for harmony, balance, and clarity rooted in powerful positive intention.

Air signs such as Libra are known for having powerful mental energy; this Full Moon can tap into this quality if seen with a grounded and clear mind. Meditation and balance bring this into view, otherwise you may feel scattered and unsure of your own decisions. Deep breathing coupled with meditation will calm the mind to help you bypass the mental confusion.

March’s Full Moon is also known as the Full Worm Moon. As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter. (Farmer’s Almanac)

As with all Full Moons, including and most notably those falling within a Mercury Retrograde period, releasing is a key experience offered within the Full Moon phase. Manifestations come to fruition, dreams birthed, and ideas having a solid foundation or form to them. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the Full Moon energy, ask your higher self to help you find your own rhythm within the experience.

“Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.”

~Wayne W. Dyer

Tips for March 20th Full Moon in Libra:

Take advantage of this auspicious time, the veils between worlds are thinnest during a Full Moon, and there is tremendous potential to shift old habits and dissolve self-defeating patterns. You may feel as if you are discovering something for the first time; when in truth your intuition has lifted the veil for you to see and know more clearly.  Trust this guidance and insight, yet be mindful of any emotions that may get entangled in the process; this is likely the mind making a “story” of the information versus the intuitive impression the higher self was inviting you to know.

Let this Moon serve you to find balance and harmony within, and to invoke the magic of releasing to create space for something new to manifest during the next Full Moon phase.  You are surrounded by divine intelligence and a universal field of consciousness; the Full Moon provides a window in to retrieve the pieces that align for you and to thank, honor, and release the ones that no longer fit yet held an important role in your journey.

The full moon is the feminine aspect of our being, she can help release and reveal all things ready to find a way to the surface.
  4. Begin with closed eyes, focusing on breathing deeply, releasing any tension or worry for the body and energy field. Bring your internal attention to the world “appreciation”, repeat this word like a mantra as you get lost in your breath.
  5. Start pulling images and thoughts of appreciation into your mind, choosing to see everything as a miracle. Stay present to this…. Breathing, and focusing on everything that floats through your mind, breathing deeply for a cycle of 10 to 20 breaths.
  6. Write about your experience in your journal, was there something that popped up that surprised you? How does it feel to open up to appreciation in this way?
  7. If you find yourself releasing…. you may safely burn your paper to honor the transition and release.

The next full moon is in the sign of Libra on April 19th and is known as the Full Pink Moon.

February 19th Full Moon in Virgo

February’s Virgo moon may just be the boost you have been waiting for! This Full Moon brings the adventure, and invokes a sense of freedom highlighting success, romance, and cha cha cha changes. Do not let the mind tell you change is scary when you’ve got this powerful Moon cheering you on, as it sets the stage for courageous acts unfolding and leading you to victory. Think back to how you were feeling and what you were intending a few weeks ago, the energy here is a manifestation of those intentions. This is wonderful news for those who set goals and desires into motion with the energy of the New Year.

This Full Moon is about aligning the heart with personal power. Consciously choose to use your inner strength and gifts in services and actions that are weaved with integrity; and pull back from reacting to others who may not have the same morals. This is a time of spirit emerging to reveal deeper truths; not all of them are glamourous, yet even in those experiences live golden opportunities for wisdom to be gained.

The Moon represents the subconscious minds and influences certain aspects of our being; especially intimate relationships, home life, and personal issues within these areas and others. The energy of this Moon connects to these matters along with the Virgo influence of independence, ambition, success, power and fame. Balance is key in these areas; there is nothing wrong with them as they stand, examine the energy behind them for yourself to decide where your own personal truth is being called into light. The Moon also has a way of revealing the shadow, nothing to be feared, just another layer of information and intuitive guidance to learn and heal from.

Full Snow Moon: February- Traditionally, the Moon we see in February is called the Snow Moon because usually the heaviest snows fall in February. This name dates back to the Native Americans during Colonial times when the Moons were a way of tracking the seasons. And the Native Americans were right. On average, February is the USA’s snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service. (Farmer’s Almanac)

Full Moon Self Care for February:

  • Physical- Virgo is an Earth sign, physical activity is excellent during this Moon phase. It also places emphasis on the intestines and the nervous system.
  • Emotional- During this Moon, work on the inner or outer critic, being mindful of expression. Shifting from the critical voice to conscientious.
  • Spiritually- Allow the analytical mind to work with the intuitive aspect of your being. Meditation can help bridge them both together.

“Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is. At all counts, it forms an unconscious snag, thwarting our most well-meant intentions.”

~Carl Jung

Tips for The February 2019 Full Moon in Libra:

Dedicate your energy to the goals and dreams you set in motion over the last few weeks. This Moon is supportive of those endeavors and even holds potential for you to go beyond and surprise yourself with how much you can achieve with discipline and intention. Use meditation and deep breathing to calm the mind or any doubts that can arise as you step into the energy of your desires. You are more capable than you allow yourself to recognize; this Moon can pull the veil back to witness this capacity within you.

Believe in experiences even if you have never had any prior evidence of their unfolding. Moons are magical times of divulging the unknown, hidden talents, intuitive impulses and the innate mystic that resides in your bones. Let this become new, allow yourself to acclimate to possibility. Take a step forward to honor yourself and personal intentions; you’ll then be met with support and profound guidance.

Ways You Can Connect to This Full Moon:

  1. Find out when the moon rise is in your city by going here: http://www.timeanddate.com/moon/
  2. Find a place where you can see, or sense the energy of the full moon. Preferably a comfortable position with the moon in sight.
  3. Reflect upon your New Year’s Intentions. Goals, or desires. If you did not create one, ask your higher self to allow something to rise up now.
  4. Tune in to the intention. How can you create space for this to arrive? Is there something needed to nurture the intention.
  5. Go deeper into the awareness of the moment, listen and be present to the moment.
  6. Take 5 to 10 deep breaths creating even more space and stillness within, the body absorbing the breath and opening with expansion.
  7. Now, open your eyes and spend a moment reflecting upon anything that came up. If there are emotions, feelings, or sensations that are not pleasant; consider journaling and burning to release them.
  8. If you feel a sense of peace and received guidance on how to proceed, honor and that and commit to taking some form of action in the next few days.

**Reminder: each full moon will impact you for up to 3 days prior to the full moon and 3 days after the full moon.

New Year, New You? How About A REVIVAL Instead?

That time of year is almost here. In a week or so, the world will be joining a gym, starting a diet, and setting mind-boggling self-improvement goals.

“This year I’m gonna lose 30 pounds and get in shape.” Or maybe something like, “This is the year I’m going to fit into those old jeans.”

Pretty soon we’ll be bombarded with advertisements to join everything from Gold’s Gym to Jenny Craig. And all those New Year’s Resolutions? The same old, same old plans to make this year THE year that you finally get the body you’ve always wanted?

Kind of exhausting, isn’t it?

If you’re anything most people, you might’ve made a promise or two like that about 364 days ago. Are you where you want to be now?

If you said, “NO,” you’re in GOOD company. No shame there.

Maybe it’s time for real change. Not just the usual New Year’s weight loss fitness and weight loss “rah-rah.” Those promises that you make to yourself that fall by the wayside before Super Bowl Sunday? Yep, we’ve all made them before. And broken them.

I know that you want more for yourself this year.

Instead of just another diet or another gym membership, how about something different this year? Instead of forcing your body to change, why don’t you REVIVE it instead?

Let me introduce Body Revival.  The FREE 5 Day Body Challenge – Click HERE for all the details!

Body Revival is not your average “get your body back” or “shape up for the New Year” program.

It’s a movement.

Body Revival isn’t about getting the scale to spit out the number you think will validate your existence. It’s not about squeezing into the pants size that’ll solve your inner pain, either.

I’m not going to tell you what to eat, nor am I going to teach you the most badass fitness routine. (Honestly, I’ve never been a gym rat, so you probably don’t want me planning your workouts!)

Body Revival is about more than changing your outer image. It’s about taking your power back. Pulling in your Soul and bringing you back to yourself. Retrieving your energy from the people, choices, and experiences that might’ve drawn it away from you.

We’re talking about getting your inner being back. Making sure that the beliefs, thoughts, and bullshit you might’ve gathered over the years relinquishes its power over you. It’s about taking your power back from a conscious and present place.

A beautiful and healthy body is not just about what you eat or how you work out. It’s about loving your body as if it were your best friend. It’s about committing to your own self-love and meaning it this time.

It’s not just about your body, either. You need to align your body, your mind, AND your spirit. Do this with love and your whole life can change. And in a way that actually LASTS.

THAT is what I mean by “Body Revival.”

The FREE 5 Day Body Challenge – Click HERE for all the details!

This Body Revival journey … I’ve lived it. I didn’t go to school to learn about it. It didn’t just read about it in a book and then share it. It’s a journey I’ve walked personally, and it’s been going on for over 30 years now.

And let me tell you, it hasn’t always been pretty. In fact, it’s been a battle.

Trust me. I get it. I’ve had disease. I’ve healed disease. I’ve had weight issues, and I’ve healed them, too. I’ve been through the eating disorders, the body shame, the bullshit stories and the ugliness. I could recall that pain in a heartbeat if I had to.

But you know what I feel now when I communicate with my body? Gratitude.

Now I feel such gratitude for this amazing body. I have so much appreciation for the journey that I’ve taken, no matter how scathing it has been. I’ve learned, grown, and expanded. And now I have the privilege of sharing that journey with you.

I’m not gonna lie. Some of this 5 day challenge will stretch you way beyond your comfort zone. It might make you feel uncomfortable. There might even be considerable pain. But I can promise you one thing: releasing the pain that is keeping you stuck hurts a lot less than holding onto it, in the long run.

Are you ready to go on the journey with me from wherever you are right now to genuine, loving, full appreciation of your body? Because believe it or not, my friend, your body is the perfect vehicle for your Spirit in this lifetime. That’s why you chose it. And your body can be your best friend … if you’re willing to be a best friend back.

The FREE 5 Day Body Challenge – Click HERE for all the details!

Once you re-engage your body with your mind and spirit, miracles start happening. When you treat your body with love, kindness, and appreciation, it’ll respond in ways that will blow your mind. That I can personally attest to.

Now, I’m not a doctor. I am not a nutritionist or a physical therapist. I’m not a personal trainer, nor do I have a college degree. I’m not here to give you scientifically proven information. If that’s what you’re looking for, there are plenty of options out there.

But what I AM here to offer you is true, honest-to-God LIFE experience. Twenty years of working with other people. Thirty plus years of slogging through my own body issues, body shaming, bouts with disease, and weight issues. Not to mention finding body acceptance, body joy, and body love in the process.

So, if you’re interested in hearing a new spin on an old topic, the 5 day Body Revival challenge is for you. If you’re ready to have massive expansions in your awareness, your insight, and your mindset, stay with me. If you’re prepared to make new choices, commit to your own self-care, and finally start LOVING the skin that you’re in, then your timing is perfect.

Throw out the scale. Ditch the diet. And get ready for real, loving, LASTING change.

Are you ready?

Register here to get all of the details and worksheets. Feel free to share with your friends and loved ones.. Challenge them too:)  Click HERE for all the details!

I always love the energy of the full moon – well … almost always. Sometime it gets a bit intense, which is why I ask people that tune into moon energy to let me know, in advance …  what to be mindful of. I’m one of those types of people that would rather have awareness ahead of time … than not …  so … Here is some great info for this month’s FULL MOON by Melissa Corter – Enjoy – SDJ

This Cancer Full Moon can be considered the Full Moon of family and blessings of prosperity! This moon stirs up feelings of home, deeply fulfilling connections and relationships, and a loving connection to self. The element of Cancer is responsible for igniting the desire to give and receive. Anyone who chooses to tap in to the nurturing aspect of their being will see things manifest in beautiful ways; intuitively they will channel the soul of giving. The wisdom of this Moon is in knowing how and when to give, but more importantly, the energy behind the intention of giving.

This cancer Moon also is the perfect time to invest energy and understanding in nutrition, self love, and acts of service to the physical self that align with health. It’s the time to book that massage, go for the hike, and clean up the diet if you’ve been feeling a nudge to eat better. It favors actions for the body, especially those that are done out of love. This Full Moon reminds you to treat yourself like the precious gift that you are, and act as if you are royalty, and you will extend this wonderful vibe with those around you. The key idea for this time is to pamper yourself and those you love with presence, and intention while finding balance between your home, self, and family.

Full Cold Moon: December- In Native American cultures which tracked the calendar by the Moons, December’s Full Moon was known as the Full Cold Moon. It is fittingly associated with the month when winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark. This Full Moon is also called the Long Nights Moon by some Native American tribes because it occurs near the winter solstice, the night with the least amount of daylight. (Farmer’s Almanac)

Full Moon Self Care for Cancer Energy:

  • Physical- Cancer is a deeply intuitive sign. It rules all of the nurturing aspects of our physical body, the breasts, the stomach, and the chest. Speak kindly to your body and watch how it flourishes.
  • Emotional- Cancer connect to the water element and feels at home. Bring attention to the home and helping it feel warm and cozy. This is the perfect time for tradition and connection. Crystals to work with are carnelian, abalone shell, moonstone, opal, and rose quartz.
  • Spiritually- Work with water to deeply discover intuitive gifts, abilities, and desires. The water element can reveal hidden patterns and emotional blocks for healing during this Full Moon.

“Chase your dreams but always know the road that will lead you home again.”

~Unknown

Tips for The December 2018 Full Moon in Cancer:

The water element is about intuition, going deep, and embracing our emotions. It can help us move through experiences if we choose to find our “flow”. At the same time, we can easily get swept up in an undercurrent of emotion when things build up and are not expressed during important and necessary conversations. This Full Moon is one of connection and trust, listening to intuition, yet being ware of unhealed patterns triggered by emotion. As you gather and spend time with loved ones over the holiday season, choose to focus on actions, words, and deeds of the heart. This is where the gift giving begins; allowing yourself to witness the best in everyone, including how you see yourself. This starts the cycle of spiritual abundance and giving and receiving for all involved.

Let the water element wash away your worries, and create space for true abundance, prosperity, and connection in your home. Spirit speaks through the elements, the water carrying prosperity and abundance into our hearts, homes, and lives as we get in touch with our desires. Allow the Cancer energy to open you up to new forms of connection and prosperity.

  2. Consider practicing this following ritual while taking a hot bath, to invoke the water element of Cancer. You may wish to use nurturing scents, salts, and oils for your bath.
  3. Light candles, fill the air with beautiful scents that feel “like home”. While soaking in the tub, take 5 to 10 deep breaths, and imagine the water washing away any worries or fears you may be holding onto.
  4. Now bring to mind a positive quality that you love about yourself. Hold a sense of love, appreciation, and gratitude in your heart as you focus on this loving quality.
  5. Continue to breathe, and imagine extending this feeling of love into the rest of your body, the tub, and the room you are in. Imagine this feeling of love flooding your space and filling your home.
  6. Imagine your family feeling and receiving the love from your heart. They may be in your home, in another city or state, or even in spirit. Enjoy the rest of your bath, as you bathe in the sensations of love and gratitude, knowing you have shifted the vibration of your home.

The next full moon is on January 21st, it is known as the Full Wolf Moon

November 23rd Full Moon in Gemini

The Gemini Full Moon is a messenger of sorts with communication and social connection a theme. This is a wonderful time to connect with others, get out, and socialize. A Gemini Full Moon can invite us to release inhibitions and find joy in trying new experiences and open up to a new dimension within ourselves. We may notice a sense of relief after a tough September and October, Mercury has now gone direct and left us with a new vibe to attune to.

This energy is more fun and playful, creating opportunities of discovery and lighthearted adventure. Delving soulfully into the heart with fresh eyes and an open mind, the air element of Gemini seeks to uncover latent territory. This Full Moon shines to ignite the carefree nature within, the agenda of the inner child to have their time to guide you. One of the greatest traits of this full moon is the ability to have an open mind. The energy supports becoming flexible and able to connect with others and see the world from their perspective.

Full Beaver Moon – November This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon. (Farmer’s Almanac)

Full Moon Self Care for Gemini Energy:

  • Physical- Use your hands to create something or express yourself. Focus on following through to ground the energy of this month. Gemini rules the hands, fingers, arms, shoulders, upper ribs, lungs, nervous system, and brain.
  • Emotional- Gemini connect to the air element, place attention on communication; your words are your wands. Affirmative statements are also beneficial at this time. Stones to work with are agate, Aquamarine, Emerald, Tigers Eye, and Citrine.
  • Spiritually- Work with air to clearly articulate and communicate, be mindful of the dual energy of Gemini. Use this to see both sides of a situation or problem. Gemini has yin and yang energy, channel this in your endeavors.

Thought is the wind, knowledge the sail, and mankind the vessel.

~Augustus Harraces

Tips for The November 2018 Gemini Full Moon:

The air element connects us to the intellect, yet the influence of the Full Moon mixes intellect and emotion together in a playful manner of childlike wonder filtered through wisdom. This is a time to lighten up, hand over fears of things “getting too good” and let them be replaced with a deep sense of faith that all is coming together for your greatest good. This month can bring blessings of abundance, connection, and social interactions of celebration 9if you keep your heart open to the possibilities.

If the mind feels very busy, it could be overstimulated by the Gemini Moon. The energy might feel intense and create over thinking or a desire to control or reason things away. This response to the Full Moon can shift if you release the need to control and allow the energy of Moon to support you. Sometimes people internalize the energy instead if allowing it to move through them. Use your breath (think of the quality of the air element) to help you let go, and allow the thoughts to pass while focus on gratitude and appreciation.

Ways You Can Connect to This Full Moon:

  1. Find out when the moon rise is in your city by going here: http://www.timeanddate.com/moon/
  2. Find a place where you can see, or sense the energy of the full moon. Preferably a comfortable position with the moon in sight.
  3. Take 5 to 10 deep breaths as you feel and sense the air element flowing through your body, and perhaps a breeze on your skin.
  4. Now bring a loved one to mind whom you wish to connect with. They may be here walking the Earth or in spirit. Hold a message in your heart, words you wish to share with them, let the words flutter through your body, mind, and spirit.
  5. Now with your next breath pretend to blow out the words into the universe…. let the wind carry your words to the heavens or out into the world. Feel the pull of the moon, amplifying this effect, knowing your message has been sent.

**Reminder: each full moon will impact you for up to 3 days prior to the full moon and 3 days after the full moon.
