How you start a game of Fortnite usually dictates how the rest of the match will play out. At the beginning of the battle bus trail, you are faced with a decision that can alter your chances of winning the game. Some people want high kill wins, while others are just struggling to get the win. What most people don’t know is that to increase your chances of doing well in the game, you must land somewhere that gives you a competitive advantage over the average player.

At first, it may seem overwhelming: twenty-one major points of interest (POI’s); at least fifty unnamed significant landing sites; and even more small houses with tons of loot. There are over one hundred potential drop spots, so picking one that works for you is vital to you becoming better at Fortnite.

Landing Spots for People, with the main goal of winning the game
1. John Wick's House

John Wick’s house is located just east of Paradise Palms. This house was recently added to Fortnite at the start of season nine and is a top five landing spot for achieving wins. Throughout the house, there are six chest spawns with lots of floor loot spawning everywhere.

Usually, in an arena match, you can rack up 500 wood, 500 brick, and at least 300 metal from all the cars around the house itself. This is such an awesome spot because you will get one to two people maximum going there, depending on the bus route. Frequently you can kill the people right away, loot up, and eventually take a hoverboard to the rifts in Paradise Palms.

2. Junk Junction

Although Junk Junction is a named POI on the map, not many people go there, and the loot is abundant. There are ten possible chest spawns, one likely vending machine, and a fair amount of floor loot.

Coming out of Junk Junction, you should expect to have everything you need and at least 1,000 - 1,500 materials. The only time you should expect more than two players here is when the battle bus route starts right over it. If “sweaty”, low-kill wins are the priority, this is the spot for you.

3. West World

West World is one of the most under-rated landing spots in season nine. Back from seasons five to seven it was a reasonably favorite drop spot since big streamers such as Tfue began landing there. Since then the chaos has died down, and it is safe to say it’s a fantastic landing spot. First off, there is around fifteen chest spawns throughout the village.

This gives you great opportunity to get an uncontested early game and increases your chances of winning the game dramatically. While farming the trees, fences, and the village walls, you can rack up 500 wood, 500 brick, and 100-150 metal depending on your chest luck. There are many rotation items around this spot to get to the zone. In West World, there is a quad crasher spawn that can be used to soar in the sky or used as a regular vehicle.

Additionally, there are zip lines you can take to the Paradise Palm’s rifts. Lastly, if there are none of the above for rotation devices, you can head to the slipstream station right next to the paradise rift spawns. West World is an unbelievable drop spot that can take your game to the next level.

4. Happy Hamlet

Happy Hamlet is a slept-on place in season nine of Fortnite Battle Royale. It has every essential loot pool that you need to win a game of Fortnite. In Happy Hamlet, you can rely on rotation items (including ballers), all weapons that you may need to win the game, and usually, there are up to five people who will drop with you.

Throughout this loot castle, there are a total of twenty-seven chest spawns, two vending machine spawns, and a total of eight baller spawns around the area. Coming out of Happy Hamlet, you should be able to rack up a few kills, have at least 500 wood, 300 brick, and 200 metal, and have a baller. This is the favorite drop spot for so many big players such as NRG, Mr. SavageM and NRG Benjy Fishy; and now you understand why. There is so much loot with a potential for everything in the game in such a small area.

5. The Block

The Block has been in Fortnite for a few seasons now, and for the first few seasons, people didn’t think much of it. Since the World Cup online qualifiers have started, many people started to drop here after they realized how excellent the place was. Every week this unique location changes based on something that the community builds in the creative mode.

Nine times out of ten, this place will have tons of ammo, materials, and loot and will always have one secret, golden chest that guarantees you a legendary weapon. This place has become popular because Tfue and Cloakzy drop here, causing their biggest fans to follow their footsteps. This is unique compared to all the other POIs on the map because of the constant change you must adapt to when going here.

6. Salty Springs

Lastly, Salty Springs has been around since the game first became public. Surprisingly, the place is still one of the best places in the game for loot and kills. This is one of the more populated POIs on the map but the loot does not disappoint. There is one vending machine spawn, at least twenty chest spawns, and tons of kills.

This place has always been very popular since it is one of the oldest places on the map. Coming out of Salty Springs you should expect 500 wood, 400 brick, and 500 metal. Salty Springs is also in the middle of the map, which means you will always be very close to the circle or actually be in it. Salty Springs is usually very contested, but in the end, the loot reward is out of this world.

Conclusion

Fortnite is a competitive game and it is very overwhelming to choose a spot that can make or break your game. Six landing places are listed here and all six are excellent. Experiment with each one and figure out which one fits your play style the best.

Fortnite is a game of choices and decision making. One wrong move and you’re back to the pre-game lobby. There are at least one hundred drop spots, and these are the top six drops spots for becoming the next Ninja in Fortnite Battle Royale.

A new threat has risen on the planet Jupiter in the Gas City that brings along a new enemy type. An alliance has formed between Alad V and the Sentients and the only ones who can stop it are the Tenno. God Introduction:

Vamana the Fifth Avatar of Vishnu is an ability based warrior within Smite that provides great frontline potential for any team he is on. This is because when he goes into his ultimate, he becomes a walking giant that can ignore all of the enemy crown control, deal damage and heal himself while he is doing it. Due to the buff in patch 5.23, Vamana has become an even more viable option in Smite.

    Abilities:
    • Passive
    • Ability 1
    • Ability 2
    • Ability 3
    • Ultimate
    Sleeping Giant

A percentage of Vamana's Physical Protection is converted to Physical Power.

    • Physical Protection Conversion: 20%

    Clear the Path

Vamana infuses his umbrella with his armor, reinforcing it while he strikes forth, doing damage to all enemies in a cone.

    • Damage: 85/140/195/250/305 (+70% of your Physical Power)

    Armored Umbrella

Vamana infuses his umbrella with his armor, reinforcing it while he strikes forth, doing damage to all enemies in a cone.

    • Damage: 85/140/195/250/305 (+70% of your Physical Power)

    Umbrellarang

Vamana spins an umbrella out in front of him, hitting everyone in its path for damage and slowing your enemies' attack and movement speeds. After reaching its destination, the umbrella returns back to Vamana, hitting everyone in its path again.

    • Damage: 50/85/120/155/190 (+50% of your Physical Power)

    • Attack / Movement Speed Slow: 30%

    • Speed Slow Duration: 3s

    Colossal Fury

Vamana grows to an enormous giant. While Vamana is enraged, he is immune to Crowd Control, gains Protections, Physical Power, massive regeneration and his Basic Attacks now damage all nearby enemies. When Vamana is in Colossal form, taking damage from gods increases the duration. You may cancel his giant form early.

    • Protections: 15/20/25/30/35

    • Physical Power: 40/55/70/85/100

    • Health Regeneration: 1% per .2 seconds

    • Colossal Duration: 6s

    Colossal Duration Increase:
    Lanes/Roles:
    Solo:

Vamana in the solo lane takes some time to wind up. He is mana hungry (meaning his abilities use a lot of mana) so make sure that you always have the blue buff in order to sustain in lane. You’ll want to level up “Umbrellarang” first as it can easily hit the full minion wave and potentially hit the enemy god as well. After that, level up “armored umbrella” next to have an easy to hit ability that can proc gladiator’s shield. Come mid, use your ultimate to initiate and focus primarily on the enemy mid lane as your CC immune ult provides a great way to chase down enemies on rotations. Late game, switch to focusing on the enemy archer.

    Jungle:

Jungle is different for Vamana as you have more freedom in how you want to play. Generally, you’ll want to level up “armored umbrella” in order to clear as it’s quick and easy to hit the full minion camp. On ganks, if you don’t have blink then you’ll want to start with armored umbrella, then chase with “clear the path” and hit “umbrellarang” to slow the enemy so you can hit them more easily. Late game, it’s important to remember that you are somewhat tanky with your ult but not tanky enough to be the sole initiator so wait for your tanks to take damage first.

    Update Section:

    Smite Patch 5.23: COLOSSAL FURY

    • Vamana now also gains a stacking Health Shield every second equal to 0.6% to his max HP per .2s. This Shield fades when Vamana’s ultimate ends.

    • Changed his heal to tick every 0.2s instead of 1s

      • Vamana still heals for the same amount of health each second as he did previously.

    • Can now pass through Player made walls while his ultimate is active.

    Pros and Cons List:
    | Pros:

    Tanky, Mobile, CC Immune Ultimate

    | Cons:

Little CC in his kit, mana hungry, countered by Anti-Heal

    Builds:
    Solo Lane
    | Start:

round shield, health chalice and 3 health pots

    | Full Build: (Left to Right)

Gladiator’s Shield, Warrior Tabi, Breastplate of Valor, Hide of the Urchin, Oni Hunter’s Garb, Mantle of Discord.

Late Game: substitute gladiator’s shield for void shield for damage, Hide of Nemean Lion for physical defense, and Masamune for movement speed.

    For:

    Jungle
    | Start:

assassin’s blessing, mace, 1 health potion, and 1 multi potion
