Breezy is a chihuahua / Pug Mix (we think) that is only 1 year and 4 months old. She is very sweet and active, gets along with other dogs and loves people. She is a jumper, climber and runner, so you would have to have a secure home and back yard with either wood or cement walls as she can climb chain link! She’s looking for a lot of action so your home should be active!
Shelby was relinquished to us because her owner could no longer care for her. She is a gentle and slightly shy little girl. She’s very friendly and sometimes, she’ll even roll over on her back for tummy rubs. She is great with other dogs, but so far, seems most content just doing her own thing. We know she’d make a great companion to anyone willing to open their heart to this precious girl.
Satellite was found as a stray before being taken to the shelter. We can’t imagine how he was able to get along on his own, as he has a deformed front leg that makes it difficult – and probably painful – for him to walk on. However, in typical Pug fashion, this little boy is still full of energy! He is happy and playful. Because he came from a shelter, we have him separated from the bunch so we can monitor for any signs of illness. Once our vet gives the ok, we’ll let him mingle to see how he gets along with everyone.
Poor Luigi. He was relinquished by his family at the age of 12 because they are moving out of state. He is a gentle and quiet boy who needs a little love and TLC. We currently have him separated from the pack so we can monitor for anything that may be contagious to the others. Once he is seen and cleared by our vet, we’ll introduce him to the dogs to see how he gets along.
Harpo was a stray roaming the streets of the Inland Valley before making his way to us. They shelter he came from told us that he has lost a lot of his sight. However, he’s still a happy guy who is anxious for a little love and attention. Because he came from a shelter, he is separated so we can have his fecal tested. Once he is clear, we’ll let him mingle with the others to see how he gets along.
Harley was an owner surrender to the Castaic Shelter because they didn’t have the time to dedicate to her. She is a friendly, happy girl with lots of energy! She is still learning how to walk on a leash, but does seem to enjoy a good walk. Because she came from a shelter, we have her separated so we can monitor for any signs of illness. Once she’s cleared, we’ll introduce her to the rest of the pack to see how she gets along.
Cobao was a stray way out in the Wildomar Shelter before making her way to us. She is a sweet and friendly girl who still has a lot of life in her, despite her age. Since she came from a shelter, we have her separated to monitor for anything that may be contagious. Once our vet clears her, we’ll let her meet the others to see how she gets along.
Juicy Fruit was found roaming the streets of Irvine all alone before being taken to the shelter. She has a skin condition that is healing, but that hasn’t slowed her down! She is feisty and very energetic. Since she came from a shelter, we have her separated to be sure she isn’t contagious. When she gets the ok, we’ll let her play with the other dogs to see how she gets along. We have a feeling she’ll do best in an active home.
Peter was found as a stray before being turned into the local shelter. We don’t know much about his history, but we suspect he may have been abused, as he is shy and apprehensive when first approached. Once he warms up, he is gentle and friendly. He gets along with other dogs and does fairly well on a leash, although it seems he’s still learning. Peter would do great in a patient home willing to do a little training.
