For those of us here in Boston, we know how long the winters can be. After a typically cold, dark winter here in Boston — we are so excited to get the spring wedding season started with this gorgeous celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston! A sophisticated and modern wedding with lots of white florals and pops of pink color, this was a refreshing way to officially kick off the spring wedding season.
After getting ready at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston, we took the bride and groom across the street to the Boston Public Garden for their first look and formal photos. The weather was a gorgeous 60+ degrees, perfect for lots of photos out in the park! Going back to the hotel, we took advantage of the gorgeous grand staircase for a few more formal photos before Sarah and Mike signed their Ketubah.
The wedding guests arrived and the bride and groom completed their traditional Jewish wedding ceremony, affirming their vows underneath a white floral chuppah in front of their friends and family. Cocktail hour in the Four Seasons Hotel Boston Aujourd’hui Room was followed by a reception in the Four Seasons Ballroom. Classic black and white colors were used throughout, with a mix of black and white seating and rentals, towering white floral arrangements, and an elegant touch of silver for a little bit of sparkle.
We can’t wait for the exciting spring wedding season ahead, special thanks to Sarah and Mike as well as Philip and his team at the Four Seasons and Jodi Raphael and her team at Jodi Raphael Events for getting us off to such an amazing start!

Christine and Joe’s winter wedding in downtown Boston gave us all the best that a wedding in Copley Square has to offer. From the Lenox Hotel to the Boston Public Library to the rooftops overlooking the Back Bay, we got to see it all!
The day started with Christine at her family home in Winchester and Joe getting ready at the Lenox Hotel. The ladies enjoyed a beautiful spread of traditional Armenian sweet treats while everyone had their hair and makeup done. At the same time, the guys were climbing to the rooftop of the Lenox Hotel for some photos high above Copley Square.
The bride and groom, wedding party, and their intimate group of invited guests met at the bride’s family church in Winchester. Christine and Joe said their “I do”s in a traditional Catholic Mass, before heading to Boston for the reception.
Following the ceremony, we headed to Copley Square for some gorgeous winter wedding photos outside of the Boston Public Library with the wedding party. We spent time both outside and inside the Boston Public Library with the couple. From there, we spent a few more minutes with the couple on the Lenox rooftop before heading inside to get the reception started. A stunning flower wall and classic white details in the Lenox’s Dome Room made this intimate winter wedding reception truly spectacular.
A special thank you to Christine and Joe, and to Taylor and her entire team at the Lenox Hotel for an unforgettable celebration!

The 2019 event season has officially started! Our first event of the year was the grand opening reception of the 30th Annual Boston Wine Festival — including the VIP pre-reception with a very special group of winemakers and the who’s who of Boston. The event, held at the Boston Harbor Hotel was founded by their Executive Chef Daniel Bruce.
The VIP festivities began in the brand new 4,800 square foot John Adams Presidential Suite with sweeping views of the Boston Harbor. Guests enjoyed a welcome toast from Chef Daniel Bruce himself, as well as from Managing Director & General Manager of the Boston Harbor Hotel Stephen Johnston. Special guests included top winemaker Anthony Hamilton Russell (all the way from South Africa) and NBC Boston’s TV presenter and local DJ Colton Bradford. And of course, there was wine! The main celebration took place in the hotel’s newly renovated Wharf Room where nearly 400 guests were able to sample over 50 varieties of wine featured in this year’s festival, expertly paired with Chef’s own culinary creations.
We could not have thought of a better way to start off the new year, and are looking forward to a fantastic year of weddings and events in 2019! A very special thank you to the whole team at the Boston Harbor Hotel for having us there to capture the evening.

The new year has arrived, and with that comes the excitement of so many new memories waiting to be captured. While we are looking forward to a great year ahead, we are also taking time to reflect back on an unforgettable 2018 full of Boston weddings and events.
2018 brought us a year filled with incredible couples and memorable celebrations, overflowing with more love and joy than we could possibly imagine. Every wedding day is special in its own way, and no matter the couple, the venue, or the details of the celebration we always find ourselves feeling more fulfilled and having more fun each and every day! From Cape Cod to New Hampshire and all of the venues we love in the heart of Boston, we could not have asked for a better wedding season.
In addition to weddings, we also had a great year of social events including the first Boston Planners Dining Club at Catalyst, Another World Series Playoff Season and Championship, numerous charity galas from the YMCA of Greater Boston, American Liver Foundation Cuisine for a Cause, the Dress for Success Style + Soul event and more. Ending the year of events was the lighting of the Prudential Tower 31 nights of lights for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation – Northeast.
With tremendous gratitude, we thank all of our couples, colleagues and clients and wish everyone a wonderful new year!
Earlier this month, Fashion Santa arrived a the Ritz-Carlton Boston to help raise money for Cradles to Crayons and we were there to capture the festivities. Thank you to the team at the Ritz for asking us to be there to capture the holiday celebration!
“Paul Mason, the man famously known as Fashion Santa, came to town, as he kicked off The Ritz-Carlton Fashion Santa Tour with an invitation-only party at the hotel’s Avery Bar.
Mason — whose charitable tour continues over the next week with stops in his hometown of Toronto, Washington, D.C., and Miami — schmoozed with Ritz guests, residents and a select group of locals at a cozy, fireside fete benefiting Cradles to Crayons. But before the party’s piano performances and chorus of live carolers began, he managed to sit down with the Track and bestow unto us the gift of his holiday fashion do’s for men.
Even decades before his Fashion Santa persona was born, Mason worked as a model, walking for designers like Gianni Versace, Dior and Armani, and even graced the cover of Vogue. So in the spirit of giving, we pass on his sage style must-haves — in his own words and wrapped in a big red bow:
Accessories. You should accessorize because this is the time to bust them out — bowties, ties, cufflinks, pocket squares, all of that. A watch is great. And if you’re into shoes, bring out the patent leather loafers, if you have them. Bring out the bling. Every brand makes them, so they’re all out there at every price point. A dark suit. Everyone should have one and it should be essential to every man’s wardrobe. You can go from daytime, when, say you don’t wear a tie, and then you can slap a tie on it and make it formal. So that suit can be key in letting you go from the office to a party and look smashing.
Texture. This is the season for those rich textures and colors. It wouldn’t hurt to invest in a velvet blazer. I know you can’t wear it everywhere, but this is the time to wear it. They come in some really deep burgundies, the navy blues are beautiful, obviously green if it’s a nice dark (shade). Honestly, I think I’m the only one who can get away with bright red. But that can also translate into silks and satins. So you can actually combine all the different textures. That’s not to say you can’t do wool and tweeds, as well, but I just find that the holidays are synonymous with velvets and satins. Everything in the holidays is shiny and glistening, so if you’re going to have fun with it, do it now. No one is going to say, “Oh, look, that guy’s way over-dressed,” because you kind of expect it.
Fit. If something is ill-fitting — even if you spend a ton of money on it — it’s probably not looking like the amount that you spent on it, so I would be consciously aware of fit. You don’t have to break the bank for fit. I hate if this sounds really pretentious, but there’s no reason not to have something fitting well because there are so many options. If you can’t afford a designer brand, go with a better-fitting lower-cost label.
Capture it. Because I’m the selfie king, you should always capture your look. At the end of the day, you might as well take a record of it when you’re at these holiday parties.” – By Olivia Vanni – Boston Herald
Get ready for an honest and perfectly accurate description of this couple’s vision for their Fall wedding at the Dane Estate. We wanted it to be “Fall & Autumn feels, without pumpkins in your face” — that’s what grooms Chuck and Justin said, and that’s exactly what they got! They achieved their subtle autumnal vibes with classic steel grey, pops of deep burgundy red, and a gorgeous New England venue.
After getting ready at the Hotel Indigo, Chuck and Justin posed for formal photos outside in the Boston Public Garden. We got lucky with beautiful Fall foliage, and were joined by the couple’s wedding party of four groomsmen. The rest of the day’s events took place at the Dane Estate, which feels worlds away but is actually not too far from downtown in Boston’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood.
We continued with formal photos of the couple outside on the Dane Estate grounds before moving inside for the wedding ceremony. The interior of the Dane Estate is full of rich wooden floors, walls, and detailing — the perfect vibe for this Fall wedding day. For the evening reception, classic white was mixed with burgundy and a few orange and yellow Autumn details for a very whimsical and intimate celebration.
Above everything else, what we loved most about this wedding day was the fun, loving, and relaxed vibe of Chuck and Justin. Everyone was excited to celebrate with this truly wonderful couple, and we were honored to be a part of it!

We always love reconnecting with families that we’ve worked with in the past — this is the second wedding we have celebrated with the bride’s family, after photographing her sister’s wedding last Fall. For Joanna and Andres’ Ritz-Carlton Boston wedding, the bride described their vision as “elegant, classic, and romantic”. The day was exactly that, with beautiful touches of navy blue, burgundy, and gold throughout.
The entire day’s events took place at the Ritz-Carlton Boston, starting with the couple getting ready in the suites of the hotel overlooking Back Bay and the Boston Common. Joanna and Andres met in the Ritz-Carlton Boston Studio for their first look and formal photos with their wedding party, before heading to Our Lady of Perpetual Help for the evening ceremony. Before traveling back to the Ritz-Carlton Boston for the evening celebration, we made a stop with the newlyweds outside the Paramount Theater for some beautiful nighttime photos with their white Rolls Royce in front of the city lights. A quick trip around the corner and we were back at the Ritz-Carlton Boston, ready to get the party started!
The reception was held in the Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, and featured classic white centerpieces, navy blue details, and elegant pops of gold to give the room a little sparkle. Joanna and Andres danced the night away surrounded by friends and family, and we were thrilled to be there to celebrate with them all.
Special thanks to the couple for including us in your wedding day, to both families for being so welcoming, and to the wonderful team at the Ritz-Carlton Boston for a fantastic event!

Marissa and Zach celebrated their Fall Boston wedding at the beautiful Boston Park Plaza, right in the heart of downtown. An institution for over 90 years, the Boston Park Plaza recently underwent a massive restoration and renovation, making all of their event spaces even more stunning than they were before.
Marissa and Zach stayed at the Boston Park Plaza for all of the day’s events, minus a quick trip across the street to the Boston Public Garden for the couple’s first look. They were married in a traditional Jewish ceremony which included the signing of the Ketubah, the wedding ceremony underneath a gorgeous white chuppah, and the evening celebration.
The couple took full advantage of the venue and the surrounding areas, and we loved how they incorporated fall colors of gold and dark cranberry red into the details of their day. Friends, family, and guests were so happy to be there to celebrate with this wonderful couple, the night ended with food, drinks, laughter, and a packed dance floor!
Thank you to Marissa and Zach for letting us be a part of your Fall Boston wedding, we enjoyed every minute of it. Mazel tov!

I think we can make it official — the Fall wedding season has arrived in Boston! For those that know the area, you know that there is nothing quite like New England in the Fall. Emily and Erik chose the Hampshire House for their Boston Fall wedding day, with its cozy interior and dark wood detailing it was the perfect fit for this late September celebration.
We never had to travel far for any of the day’s events — with the Boston Public Garden right outside we had no shortage of gorgeous locations and started the day with getting ready at Taj Boston. Emily and Erik chose a fall color palette of dark cranberry red, contrasted against soft pink and white. The colors appeared in all of the floral bouquets, table settings, and in the gorgeous color of the bridesmaid’s dresses. We took advantage of the Public Garden for all of our outdoor formal photos, we love how different areas of the garden show off different trees in bloom — from full Summer green to the changing Fall foliage. We even had a swan serendipitously swim by on the pond behind Emily and Erik while we were taking formal photos, sometimes you can’t plan these things!
All of the wedding events took place at the Hampshire House, from the intimate wedding ceremony through the evening celebration. The ornate wooden architecture and deep natural colors were the perfect compliment to the details of Emily and Erik’s Fall wedding. A close-knit party of about 70 guests watched the couple become husband and wife, enjoyed dinner, toasts, and an evening of laughter and dancing in celebration of Emily and Erik.
Special thanks to this wonderful couple for being so much fun to spend a day with, and to Michele, Karim and their team at the Hampshire House Boston for always being a pleasure to work with!

We are so lucky to work in an industry where our friends and colleagues can introduce us to such wonderful new brides and grooms. This fantastic couple came to us by way of Jodi Raphael, whose team at Jodi Raphael Events was already planning a gorgeous and modern wedding day for Amanda and Zach. Though they currently live in New York City, Amanda and Zach decided to come back to Amanda’s hometown of Boston for their fall wedding celebration.
The couple chose the newly renovated Boston Marriott Long Wharf for their venue, and began their wedding day in the suites getting ready. To contrast the classic white of the wedding, they chose accents of navy blue in the bridesmaid dresses, Zach’s suit jacket, and Amanda’s blue high heels. The couple met in Columbus Park right next to the Marriott for their first look, and we took them around the park and out to the waterfront for formal photos. The wedding party joined us in Columbus Park for group shots, then it was back to the Boston Marriott Long Wharf to begin the ceremony.
The couple was married in a traditional Jewish ceremony which began with the signing of the Ketubah in front of an intimate group of family and friends. Then it was into the Marriott Long Wharf Ballroom for the ceremony itself, which took place under a gorgeous white floral chuppah with soft purple lighting and candles lining the aisle. Guests moved to the Palm Garden room for cocktails following the ceremony, while the Ballroom was transformed for the evening reception. The team at Jodi Raphael Events pulled out all the stops for this elegant and modern celebration, which featured an eclectic mix of round, square, and rectangular dining tables, towering white floral centerpieces in silver vessels, and hundreds of soft candles throughout the room. Amanda and Zach had quite a crowd to share in their celebration, over 325 guests, and everyone was excited to get the party started!
We were so thrilled to be there to share this day with Amanda, Zach, and all of their friends and family. Special thanks to the Boston Marriott Long Wharf, and to the team at Jodi Raphael Events for a beautiful event and for sending this wonderful couple our way. Mazel Tov Amanda and Zach!
