It is believed that cannabis unites people and according to new research, it can heighten intimacy among couples.

Can cannabis really improve the relationship of couples who smoke together? Think back to every story you heard about a fight breaking out at a party. Most of the time, any story about a fight at any social gathering revolves around alcohol and not cannabis. Some people even say that if cannabis was legal worldwide, there would be world peace. We’re not sure about that, but new research shows that it can strengthen the bond between you and your partner.

Research published in the Journal of Cannabis shows that occasional to frequent marijuana use can heighten intimacy among couples. Maria Testa is the senior research scientist in the Department of Psychology at the University of Buffalo. She had previously conducted a similar study on the role of alcohol on partner aggression. Testa says that her idea for this particular study came from the lack of information about marijuana’s role in relationships.

The Study: Marijuana Use & Partner Intimacy

Researchers at the University of Buffalo and the University of Houston asked 183 heterosexual couples to participate in a 30-day diary study. The researchers chose participants from the Northeast region of the United States that are regular cannabis users to participate in the study. A frequent cannabis user is defined as a person who uses marijuana two or more times per week.

During the 30-day test, researchers asked the participants to use a mobile app designed to keep track of their marijuana use along with intimacy events daily. Intimacy events include interaction or a meaningful conversation with your partner. They focus on intimacy, love, caring, or support.

The researchers analyzed data from the app to see whether intimacy events were related to the couple’s marijuana use. The findings from the study suggest that marijuana use can have a positive impact on relationship intimacy. Another interesting thing about the findings from this study is that previous research on alcohol has shown that both partners have to drink together in order to have some relationship benefit. With marijuana, the same benefits can be achieved even if only one partner consumes.

How Can Cannabis Help With Improving Relationships?

Apart from this particular study, there is even more research that supports the idea that marijuana can help improve relationships. For example, marijuana reduces stress, a common cause for relationship problems. Between the demands of bills, parenting, and everyday household chores, stress is unavoidable in any long-term relationship.

Cannabis Reduces Stress

Everyday stress doesn’t have to ruin your mood. Cannabis is a great way to relax and connect emotionally. The reason people usually like to consume cannabis with other people is that it can help to initiate deeper conversations.

Research has shown that when cannabis is inhaled, it can calm you down and reduce stress almost instantaneously. With a calm mindset, chances are that a small conflict will not escalate into anything big. It gives people a chance to discuss other more “important” topics, such as the meaning of life.

Cannabis Can Improve Sex

So, if your relationship is stale, should you enjoy a joint with your spouse to spice things up? The good news is that there is even more research that supports how cannabis can help improve relationships, and this is especially true for women. According to a new study published in the medical journal of Sexual Medicine, women who consume cannabis before sex report are more satisfied than those who abstain.

The Bottom Line

Looking at this research, it seems cannabis can help you appreciate your partner and strengthen your relationship. However, it’s important to keep in mind that there are only a few studies on this topic and there needs to be more research conducted to fully understand how marijuana can impact romantic intimacy.

It’s that time of the year again when 5:00 pm feels like 9:00 pm. On the northern hemisphere, we will begin to see fewer hours of daylight and in some countries further north, there will be no daylight at all for the next four months. The daily commute to work begins in darkness and the commute back home from the office is also dark. Does this have an effect any on your mood? Do you feel more sluggish and less motivated to start the day?

About Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

There is a psychological disorder known as seasonal affective disorder (SAD) which occurs during autumn and throughout the winter season.

The term was first coined in 1984 by psychiatrist Norman Rosenthal and ever since it changed the way people think about the winter.

The seasonal affective disorder is a type of depression with a seasonal pattern, it usually begins in the autumn and lasts during winter until Spring. A lack of light is thought to affect the part of the brain that controls sleep, appetite, activity, sex drive, and mood. In the winter months, patients will experience lethargy and a craving for sugary snacks.

Rosenthal included the term in a paper he co-wrote following a move from the warm climate of Johannesburg in South Africa to the north-eastern US, with its more severe winters.

What Research Says

According to a large European study on depression, SAD was found to be common throughout the European population and it appeared to be largely under-diagnosed and/or misdiagnosed. They also discovered that SAD is more common in women than in men. The onset of this depression is between the age of 18 and 30 years old. Some patients who are suffering from SAD may have stronger symptoms that may affect the quality of their life.

Those who are diagnosed with SAD have the symptoms for major seasonal depression for a period of at least two years. Aside from seasonal suicidal thoughts, symptoms may also include insomnia and poor appetite. SAD may cause patients to over-sleep. This is because many sufferers produce a high level of the sleep hormone melatonin during winter as a result of the low light exposure. Other symptoms include loss of interest in many activities and isolation. The exact cause of SAD is not known. It is usually associated with a lack of sunlight and vitamin D deficiency.

Can CBD help?

There are many studies that support the fact that CBD could address the symptoms of SAD.  Insomnia and anxiety are the two major symptoms of SAD that can be treated using CBD. A 2010 study indicated the positive effect of CBD on social anxiety. Findings in 2014 indicated that CBD also has antidepressant properties.

Taking CBD daily throughout the winter months generally relieves the symptoms better. Nordic Oil has several products with CBD extracts that you can use on a daily basis. Oils, capsules, teas, and vapes are also available for easier ingestion or faster absorption of CBD.

You can also use CBD for cooking and make your own CBD infused ingredients to use in your favorite recipes.

The US Postal Service Issued A Guide On Mailing CBD & Hemp Products.

Although the US Postal Service currently ships and delivers hemp products, you still should think twice and do your homework before sending some CBD oil to a friend in another state.

Earlier this year, the United States Postal Service quietly released a letter which cites the 2014 and 2018 Farm Bills. The Farm Bill federally permits cannabis products made from hemp that contains less than 0.3 percent THC. USPS announced that hemp products are the only cannabis products allowed to be shipped in the United States, clarifying that hemp is federally legal.

The Difference Between Hemp And Marijuana

Marijuana and hemp are both members of the cannabis family. However, the difference between the two is the amount of CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) each plant produces. A marijuana plant can contain up to 30% THC while the hemp plant usually contains no more than 0.3% THC. Marijuana. It is almost impossible to feel high from consuming hemp. This is the reason hemp is legal and tolerated in the United States and most other countries. CBD is safe for elderly people, children, and even pets.

When shipping hemp products, mailers must fill out a form confirming they are sending hemp and only hemp. According to the memo from USPS, anyone who wants to mail hemp products must provide the following documents:

  1. “A signed self-certification statement, subject to the False Statements Act. Statements must be printed on the mailer’s own letterhead, must be signed by the mailer, and must include the text “I certify that all information furnished in this letter and supporting documents are accurate, truthful, and complete. I understand that anyone who furnishes false or misleading information or omits information relating to this certification may be subject to criminal and/or civil penalties, including fines or imprisonment.”
  2. The industrial hemp producer possesses a license issued by the Department of Agriculture, for the state where the post office/acceptance unit is located, which includes documentation identifying the producer by name and showing the mailer is authorized by the registered producer to market products manufactured by that producer.
  3. The industrial hemp, or products produced from industrial hemp, contains a delta-9 THC concentration of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis.”
People Are Mailing Marijuana Anyway

Since marijuana has been legal medically and recreationally in some states, the USPS banned mailing marijuana products through the postal system in accordance with federal law. However, despite the ban, people kept sending marijuana through the system. In 2017, 934 packages were discovered by the postal inspection service containing marijuana. These packages were mailed to or from the state of Colorado.

Number of packages mailed in Colorado with marijuana inside spikes - YouTube

Shipping marijuana through the mail is a federal crime. This is why mailing cannabis is never a good idea. Although according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in Chicago, some 90 percent of the cannabis shipped goes undetected, and the penalties for getting caught are serious. The possibility of prison time and high fines are not worth sending some marijuana to a friend in another state. Penalties may vary depending on the state and the amount of pot. Shipping over 28 grams of cannabis will land you in huge trouble. Although shipping a small amount will lessen the chances of getting caught and fined, it is still not advisable. Any legal troubles are definitely not worth it just to send your friend some cannabis.

If you’re thinking that you can get away with mailing marijuana by using a false name and address, you’re wrong. A lot of people don’t realize how sophisticated mail tracking is these days, and if there is an investigation, a package can easily be traced back to the original sender (fake name or not). Forget about the tips and tricks you can find online because the consequences outweigh the benefit.

Mailing Marijuana Internationally

Forget about it. Never attempt to send a package containing marijuana or any other illegal substances internationally. You will definitely get caught because the package will be x-rayed when it goes through customs. Depending on which country you send it to when it arrives it will be x-rayed and examined thoroughly. In many countries, packages coming from a foreign country will be opened and thoroughly inspected by customs officials. If you get caught, consequences are worse for the receiver in the other country. Needless to say, we DO NOT recommend this.

Have you ever had issues receiving packages of CBD products in the mail? What are the rules and regulations in your country? Share your story in the comments!

Hemp is the only plant that can feed you, clothe you, house you, and heal you. From purifying the air to regenerating people, animals, and even soil, no one can argue with the fact that hemp is good for the planet.

Hemp can be used to produce more than 25,000 products. It can be used to make everything from hempcrete to hemp plastic. Because of its low lignin content, hemp can be pulped using fewer chemicals than with wood. Its natural brightness can obviate the need to use chlorine bleach which means no toxic dioxin would be dumped into streams.

Here’s just a few more of the ways that hemp is beneficial to the planet.

Can Hemp Help the Environment? | One Tree Planted News - YouTube
Hemp Plastic

Our dependence on plastic has devastating effects on the planet. With more cities starting to ban plastic it’s clear that we use way too much of it, and should be using less. Simply using reusable grocery bags has a significant impact on the environment. Many people are investing in portable metal straws and businesses are banning plastic utensils. While there are many ways we can cut down on plastic use, one great way to cut back on plastic is by using hemp plastic instead.

Hemp is a much better source for making plastic since it contains around 65–70% cellulose. Hemp plastic is an affordable, bio-based, and competes with engineering compounds in properties such as high stiffness and high heat tolerance. It’s are incredibly strong and can even be used in building houses and cars.

Hemp vs cotton

Cotton needs twice as much land than hemp. Hemp produces twice as much fiber per acre. Cotton needs 9.123L to grow and 1kg of fiber while hemp only 2.123 L to grow 1kg of fiber. Cotton pollutes the water and leaves the land charred due to its pesticide and herbicide needs.

Hemp Helps Regenerate Soil

Hemp detoxifies the soil as it grows to remove harmful chemicals and pollutants. The stem and leaves of the hemp plant are full of nutrients like nitrogen and oxygen that break down and enrich the soil. This happens as the plant matures and leaf matter falls to the ground. When it decomposes, it’s replenishing the soil with those valuable nutrients.

Hemp Breathes Co2

Hemp breathes in four times the carbon dioxide of trees. This means it is mother nature’s air purifier. The plant rapidly captures carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and makes what we breathe much cleaner. One hectare of industrial hemp can absorb 15 tonnes of CO2 per hectare. In comparison, agricultural land use emits approx. 3t CO2 per hectare. Hemp’s rapid growth also makes it one of the fastest CO2-to biomass conversion tools available, more efficient than agro-forestry.

Hemp Doesn’t Need Pesticides

Hemp can be grown without the use of herbicides, pesticides or fungicides. It’s in the top 5 out of 23 crops for biodiversity friendliness, performing better than all major crops such as wheat, maize or rapeseed. Exposure to these nasties has been proven to cause environmental problems like water contamination and has also been linked to health issues like cancer. A potential solution? Use hemp all over the world and reduce the number of toxins and pollutants in our air and water.

Hemp Fights Against Deforestation

At current rates, it is estimated that 55% of the rain forests could be gone by 2030 — But there is hope in hemp! While trees take years to mature, hemp can be grown in just four months.

All of these facts are out there… and supported with research and studies. It makes me wonder why hasn’t hemp already replaced trees as the source of raw material for paper?

Let’s use more hemp — and save the planet!

“Nordic Oil started as a small project, which quickly blossomed into a passion for hemp and health” – this is the short history of our company. However, from day one we also knew that if our passion managed to change even one person’s life – we would be beyond proud and have the reassurance that we are doing the right thing and our company has a true purpose and meaning.

After a little over a year on the market, we can proudly say – we truly stand by what we do! Because we changed the lives of not just one – but hundreds of people.

We want to let the world know about the power of CBD, and what better way to do it than to start showing you the many success stories our products helped create.

Here is the story of Lina*, a 54-year-old woman from Denmark, whose life has been transformed by CBD. Lina is suffering from multiple conditions, many of which have been improved by the intake of CBD. She volunteered to tell us her story and provided pictures, showing her drastic condition change.

“I have been given medication for hypothyroidism and diabetes for 25 and 6 years respectively. I’ve been medicated for essential tremor for 12-13 years. I’ve struggled with food allergy with anaphylactic reaction as well as allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and asthma. On top of all that, I have a skin condition called porphyria, which comes in the form of an attack which lasts between 18 and 25 months at a time, that severely affects the skin on the top of my feet.” – Lina explains

“I will start by saying that I have never smoked cannabis or anything related, so I was a bit skeptical when my Homeopathic doctor suggested I should try hemp pills” –Lina confesses, but she continues to explain why her skepticism was short lived.

“The pills had to be tested, and not more than a few days passed before I felt an effect. I am 54 years old and have suffered from a lot of allergies from early childhood. I was vaccinated weekly for 2-3 years in a row between the age of 6 and 9, however, it did not help improve my condition. I have a sister who is 18 months younger than me and she went through the exact same thing. So it is safe to say that allergies go far back in the family. My condition always worsens in the summer and I have to sit behind closed doors for weeks with my air purifiers running constantly. That’s why I prefer winter now. ”

“But everything turned around now after I started taking CBD capsules 10 % (1 in the morning). I have experienced that my hay fever, as well as my asthma, has noticeably reduced, attacks and I believe the capsules have reduced my shaking, especially in my hands.”

The improvement of her respiratory conditions was a huge step forward for Lina. These positive developments alone had increased the quality of her life, but it does not stop there.

“I have a hard time writing because I shake due to my essential tremor but now I can write short letters in capital letters, and I’m pretty sure it is the CBD capsules that are responsible for this improvement.”

Treating Porphyria required some CBD reinforcement, so Lina turned to one of our creams – Frejya and the results speak for themselves.

“A year ago a porphyria attack had just passed and the skin on the upper side of my feet has had difficulties recovering. But this time I’ve used the CBD cream Frejya, and the result has been amazing. The skin healed in a very short time and I am happy – imagine how painful it is when you have to walk on your feet without skin that is wrapped in a bandage, that is pressed into the wounds and must be pulled out several times a day so the skin could breathe.”

Lina was so enthusiastic and fascinated by the results that she shared some before and after pictures of her skin condition. To this, she added:

“I’m sending you a picture of my feet when they were at their worst, so you can see that it is not a joke, and usually they are like this for more or less 1,5 years at a time”

Before CBD

  • Porphyria wounds on the leg

  • Porphyria wounds on the arm
  • CBD for Porphyria
  • CBD for Porphyria

After CBD

  • CBD effects on Porphyria
  • CBD effects on Porphyria

It is important to note that Lina followed the cream’s instructions as advised and only applied the product during the healing process, and not directly on the wound. She further explains that her skin condition does not allow any lubrication to be applied on the skin during the inflammation period, simply because the skin is too damaged to properly absorb anything applied to it. Applying a cream to the open wound could result in further bleeds, therefore only air and time helps. “But when everything is over, – she continues – I have experienced that the Freyja cream was absolutely fantastic because it is so thin and delicate to the recovering skin, and here Freyja was really effective at quickly strengthening the new skin.”

As mentioned before, the allergy condition runs in Lina’s family. Therefore, after the fantastic effects CBD had on her, she decided to spread the word and her son-in-law combat his pet allergy.

“My son-in-law (39 years old) has had animal allergy for many years, so we were a little worried when he was visiting for the first time because we have two cats. The CBD’s effect went beyond all expectation! He was able to sit down and even cuddled with them without getting red eyes or sneezing. He also started with the CBD capsules because of hay fever which is almost gone now. He has a son (now 11 years old) who throughout his life had eczema. He also used the Frejya CBD cream and only after a few days stopped scratching this skin and the red rashes disappeared.”

Lina finished her story with the following:

“All in all, I would say that the people from my family who have tried Nordic Oil can definitely recommend your CBD products to others. Greetings from a very satisfied customer and user of CBD products.”

*We have changed our customer’s name for privacy reasons, but we are eternally grateful for her honest feedback and story

Have You Asked Your Dentist About CBD Oil For Toothaches?

If you haven’t, why not? It’s widely known that THC and CBD have anti-inflammatory, and bone-stimulating properties which can help with severe conditions such as arthritis, why not use it for dental pain and swelling?

So, should you consider trying CBD oil the next time you get a toothache? Let’s look at some of the causes of tooth pain, and how CBD can help combat it.

How CBD oil benefits patients at the dentist - YouTube
What Causes Tooth Pain?

There can be many reasons for a toothache, but most of the time, the cause of a toothache is an infection. Bacteria buildup on the teeth and gums eventually spread to the nerves and blood vessels located on the inner part the teeth. Infrequent brushing and poor hygeine helps bacteria thrive.

Whatever the cause of pain might be, it is always recommended to visit a medical professional if you have a long-lasting or a severe toothache. Moreover, a professional check-up and cleaning every 6 months or 1 year is always advisable as a method of prevention for any dental disease.

Since there still isn’t enough research into the use of CBD in dentistry, the benefits have not been investigated throughly. As it is difficult to dose CBD, the results are inconsistent. Some patients find pain relief from their toothache with CBD oil, and some do not.

Watch Out For “Cottonmouth”

Those who consume cannabis know about cottonmouth. It’s a common symptom that happens whether you are consuming marijuana with THC or hemp with CBD.  Cottonmouth just simply means dry mouth. Typically after consuming cannabis people may feel that their mouth becomes dry and they feel thirsty.

It’s important to remember that when recovering from any dental surgery, saliva is important. It contains antibacterial compounds that keep bacterial growth in check. Saliva also contains enzymes and proteins essential to tooth and gum health.

This is the reason it is important to be careful when using CBD oil to treat a toothache. Like THC, it also causes dry mouth. You just need to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. You can also chew gum if you feel your mouth is getting dry to stimulate saliva production. Dry mouth due to CBD oil treatment goes away after some time. Dry mouth will happen less often when your body adjusts to the presence of CBD.

Tooth Extraction

Plain & Simple: DO NOT Smoke Cannabis After Tooth Extraction

Your dentist will warn you not to smoke after tooth extraction because smoking may cause dry socket. What is a dry socket? After removing one of the permanent teeth, a blood clot forms where it was removed. This clot of blood is important for healing, as it protects the bone and nerve endings.

When you smoke, the sucking motion causes pressure on your gums. This pressure is enough to damage the blood clot and a dry hole is formed. If the blood clot is removed, dissolved, or not completely formed, the nerve endings and bone become prone to infection. This condition is accompanied by severe pain in the oral cavity and in the face and requires immediate attention from the dentist.

How long should you wait before smoking cannabis after Wisdom Tooth Extraction?

People often ask : “How soon can I smoke cannabis after tooth extraction?”

After your tooth has been removed, you should give up smoking for a period of two days to 1 week. If you really need to smoke, try to wait for 2 days but a 7 day period would be optimal to ensure that the wound has completely healed.

If you really need your fix of THC or CBD it is better for you to use edibles while the wound is healing.

Dry socket can be far worse than you think. It is worth waiting for the healing process to finish before smoking cannabis again.

Do you have any experience consuming cannabis after a tooth extraction? Do you use CBD oil to manage dental pain? Leave a comment and stay healthy!

If you walk into any dispensary, any budtender will tell you that when it comes to cannabis, more THC or CBD is not necessarily better. Cannabis with a higher percentage of THC does not necessarily mean you will get more stoned and more CBD does not make you healthier.

1. Listen to your body

If you are not feeling like yourself or if you are not getting the desired results, you may want to consider cutting back your dosage. In the beginning, it’s important to experiment with increasing and decreasing your dose, according to what makes you feel better. You need to pay close attention to your body and familiarise yourself with what dose works for you. Some people keep a journal or use an app to keep track of their dosages and results.

If you are still confused in the beginning, you can try using a CBD dosage calculator. Various CBD dosage calculators have surfaced on the internet. Using a CBD dosage calculator can help in determining the CBD dosage that is appropriate for you. A CBD dosage calculator will calculate the total CBD within a bottle and divide it by the number of milliliters within the bottle. From there, you should take your weight into consideration, and using publicly available tables you should be able to determine a starting point for the CBD dose that’s most appropriate for you.

While CBD has many benefits, it should be treated the same as any medicinal treatment. Don’t just buy and start taking CBD immediately. First, consult with your health care practitioner and try to find out if CBD is right for you.

2. Purchase a good brand

With all the CBD and cannabis companies out there, it’s important to do your research, read labels and find a good quality CBD product. Find a brand that is as raw and organic as possible, so that you can benefit from all the plant’s properties/benefits, without destroying the oil’s structure and compounds.

Nordic Oil has CBD products of the highest quality made of certified hemp, using CO2 extraction, which is one of the most gentle methods of extracting CBD. Our products are full-spectrum oils, meaning they contain the full spectrum of cannabinoids, such as CBDa, CBD, CBG, CBC, THCa and more. This also means that all our products contain traces of THC, (max. 0.3%)

Our full spectrum CO2 extract CBD rich oil is European grown with no herbicides, pesticides, or solvents and does not contain ingredients such as fillers, additives, flavorings, or preservatives.

3. Don’t forget to take your CBD daily

It’s important to be constant with your CBD for maximum results. Missing a dose will lessen the amount of CBD in your system, thus making it less effective. Try spreading out your dosing schedule. Sometimes it might work best to take a smaller dose four times throughout the day instead of one large dose in the morning or evening. This is another reason why experimentation is important — and understanding your body.

It’s very important to remember that what dose works for one person might not work for the another. The period of time it took for the CBD to take effect for me was completely different than for my brother. Just as people react differently to medications, we all react differently to CBD as well. So, be patient and experiment while listening to your body, and you are likely to get the results you desire.

Thanks to the mainstream popularity of CBD, it seems we are seeing it everywhere. From Whole Foods to CVS, healthy smoothies to burgerssoda, and alcohol… there’s no denying that the CBD craze is everywhere. People all around the world are curious about CBD and want to enjoy the health benefits!

Most people are wondering how long it takes to feel the effects after taking CBD. First of all, it’s important to be patient when starting CBD. Many people get frustrated and give up too fast, or don’t do enough experimenting to figure out which dose is appropriate for them. The same way the dosage amount varies from individual to individual, the time it will take to feel the effects varies from person to person. Some people feel the effects of CBD immediately and will notice better sleep the first time they take CBD. For others, it might take weeks or longer to notice any changes.

When taken sublingually, CBD typically enters the system in about 20 minutes. It may take up to two hours to enter your system if taken as an edible or capsule. If you vape a CBD e-liquid the effects are usually felt within minutes and give more of an uplifted feeling, but it doesn’t last as long as the oil, edibles, or capsules.

What if you’ve been taking CBD oil for a while and are still not feeling anything?

If you have been taking CBD for an extended period of time and you are not noticing any changes, chances are that it is not a high enough dose. When beginning CBD, it is best to start with a small dose. On average, 25mg of CBD a day is effective for most people. For somebody that isn’t struggling with major inflammation or mental health issues, a 10mg daily serving at night should be enough for most people to sleep better, but occasionally more may be needed. For more “extreme” issues such as depression, anxiety, and chronic pain you might need as high as a 60mg daily dose.

It is very important to familiarise yourself with how your body responds to CBD before increasing the dose. The dosage of CBD can be increased slowly until the symptoms improve. This, of course, is different for every patient and should be monitored. You will need to experiment to find out the right dosage needed, which is also why it’s important to be patient and give it time.

Have you tried Moon Milk yet?

It’s the night-time comfort beverage that’s taken social media by storm, and it’s so easy to make! It’s highly anti-inflammatory and very versatile, helping with so many things because inflammation can manifest anywhere and affect so much. Here’s a simple recipe featuring our Curcumin and Piperin CBD oil for additional anti-inflammatory and relaxation benefits. To make this recipe Vegan, simply substitute the milk for non-dairy milk.

How To Make It

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk (or soy/almond milk)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 pinches ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 10 drops 15% CBD oil with Curcumin and Piperin
  • 1 tsp Honey
Instructions
  1. Bring milk to simmer in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Whisk in spices, and season to taste.
  3. Add coconut oil, reduce heat to low, and continue to cook until Moon Milk is warmed through (about 5-10 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in the honey and CBD oil. (You want to avoid cooking both the honey and CBD oil or you’ll destroy their healing properties!).
  5. Pour Moon Milk into a mug and drink while it’s still warm. Sweet dreams!
