Here are the pictures from our trip. Thank you, Mr. Ochoa, for sending me yours. Students had a great time panning for real fake gold, playing on the enormous playground, petting animals in the farmyard, and hiking across the Overland trail with their wagon train. Enjoy!
I want to give special recognition to Chrystal for being our classroom representative in the school speech contest. Her speech was great and well-delivered. She bravely presented in front of the entire 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. We are so proud of you, Chrystal!

Thank you in advance for helping LLS to create a world without blood cancers!
Last week students practiced their knowledge of equivalent, improper, mixed number, and addition and subtraction of fractions with Skittles! When it was all done, students got to eat their Skittles (the fun part).
I was so proud of our students who spent two weeks preparing for our classroom spelling bee. Great work to all of you. Our top three, Joey, Leandra, and Christian competed yesterday in our school spelling bee. They are outstanding!
