Ripley Rader:

Female owned, Made in Los Angeles, Fierce AF. Last time you saw me wearing RR was in Marfa Texas! It’s been almost 4 years but Ripley Rader nailed it with this outfit! Luckily, this matching set comes in a few colors and flatters at every curve. I’m wearing a size 2, and I’m 5’8″ and I’m wearing heels for reference.

This top and pants set have no zippers, they are the perfect amount of stretch, and are super comfy! Of course, the set is super “in” right now but these versatile pieces can be worn separately too. How chic would these pants look with a cropped polka dot blouse or a contrasting turtle neck?

The Pearl Bag:

The bag is something you’ve probably seen all over Instagram. I am hesitant to hop on trends, especially when they are literally a version of a plastic bag, but this piece just stole my heart. I just realllllyyy hope it doesn’t fall apart because keeping it for a long time was part of my justification in buying it. I found mine at a local Boca boutique, but they are available on Amazon as well.

The shoes are vintage Fendi. If you follow me on IG stories you will have seen these already. I picked them up at City Girl Consignment in Palm Beach and got an amazing deal on them! If you’re local to South Florida, definitely pop into City Girl and see what they have. Or if you need to clear out your closet, they take everything from Forever 21 to Chanel.

Thank you for reading,

Outfit: Ripley Rader, c/o. Shoes: Fendi via City Girl Consignment.

The Kooples in Paris:

While in Paris last September Jacques and I did a little shopping. While a love a good Chanel bag, there are so many designers making high-quality bags for much less money than a traditional “designer” bag. The Kooples in Paris had a fabulous selection and when I saw this gorgeous dress, I knew I needed a bag to match. I didn’t yet have a green bag and this shade of pistachio just had my name written on it. I also picked out another dress you may have already seen via IG, and this bag matched both dresses too well to pass up!

A view of the Eiffel Tower and some low ankle-strap shoes make this the perfect Parisian look.

Dress: The Kooples, on SALE. Bag: The Kooples in 8 colors!
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack, Similar. Ring: Antique.

Pink Satin in Rome:

Excuse the carb filled tummy- I enjoyed the pasta fully while abroad. This is one of the reasons I love this Little Joe Woman silk dress so much, it isn’t skin tight and hugs you just enough to highlight your curves and allow for pizza and pasta. What a prize. I got this dress in Bali in 2017 and it’s one of my favorite dresses I own. It’s the perfect shade of pink that compliments my skin and is subtle enough to wear head-to-toe.

I can’t say enough good things about this dress.

Dress: Little Joe Woman. Shoes: Steve Madden.
Bag: Cult Gaia. Necklace: Vintage.

Miami Classis Car Tour:

While my friend Elizabeth was in town, of course, I wanted to show her around. I was trying to figure out the best way to see Miami Beach and then thought of this! The Antique Car City Tour is a fun way to see the city while not having to drive or park! Our driver was super sweet and patient while we took a million pictures and she knew all the cutest art deco buildings to see. If you’re coming to Miami, definitely call 786.512.6128 and book a tour for yourself!

Thank you for reading!

Elle Woods Winter:

With all the talk about the new Legally Blonde coming out, I wanted to channel my best Elle Woods winter outfit and of course, I shot it while in Beverly Hills. I always love visiting Beverly Hills during the holiday season. Everything is decorated so festively and all the store window displays are a dream to window-shop.

I used a site called ShopTagr to get this blazer which was originally sold out. Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific teamed up with Nordstrom-brand Halogen to create an affordable, colorful, stylish collection and the blogger world was lit. I was on a transatlantic flight when the collection went live and my crappy UnitedWifi was not allowing me to shop quickly enough. Before I could blink this pink blazer was sold out as well as the pink bow top I wanted. Thankfully someone returned this pink blazer in my size and my ShopTagr alerted me! This is not sponsored, I just was super impressed when ShopTagr actually worked so I wanted to share!

Palm Beach Vintage:

I love Palm Beach. Something about it just whispers glam and beachy sophistication. This vintage linen jacket is even a Palm Beach brand from the ’80s. I paired it with an equally vintage rhinestone belt, some velvet crystal embellished mules and this vintage-inspired tassel bag.

All the pinks and textures fit together so stylishly and this pink jewelry store awning was the perfect backdrop.

Palm Beach has a history of being where the Hollywood glam elite would vacation. Everyone from Marilyn Monroe to The Kennedy’s would escape to Palm Beach. Many people don’t know this, but Worth Avenue, (where these photos were taken) was the inspiration for Rodeo Drive! If you come to South Florida, it’s definitely worth the visit! Make sure to stop by some of the many vintage stores while you’re there!

Fall fashion, The Western Trend:

If you watched my latest video, Thrift the Trend, you know the Western trend is huge this Fall 2018 season. I am trying to limit my new fashion purchases to an 80/20 rule. 80% vintage or sustainable and allowing myself 20% new. I received these Charles David shoes as a gift but if I hadn’t, these would be one of the new things I would buy this season. Classic, sexy, and with just the right amount of western flair. These shoes will last me years and I can’t wait to style them in so many ways! This metal mesh belt was a thrift store find and one of my favorites (and I actually found a super similar vintage version linked below)! Adding in my Chanel Gabrielle mini backpack (another fall trend) completed the look.

Dress: Maison De Pappillon, c/o. Boots: Charles David, c/o.
Bag: Chanel Gabrielle Backpack. Belt: Thrifted.

How to wear Snake Print:

Frizzy hair, don’t care! Today is all about how to wear snake print! This is one of my favorite prints because it’s a neutral but still so interesting! This particular taupe shade is one of my favorites and goes with EVERYTHING! If you didn’t see the video below where I styled this dress 30 ways, you should definitely check it out!

Because I got this dress pre-loved at City Girl Consignment it’s a tad too large. I don’t mind though because a belt is a great way to jazz up any look! Adding a jacket or sweater always changes up the look as well! I hope you enjoy the video and if you did, consider sharing this to post!

Thanks so much for reading,

Dress: Banana Republic, old, similar.

Life Is Beautiful Festival:

October 21-23 in Las Vegas was the Life Is Beautiful Festival which I attended with Bacardi to help promote their “The future doesn’t suck” campaign. Essentially they asked people to take the straw free pledge to make a better world. in America we use 500,000,000 plastic straws PER DAY. That’s enough to fill 125 school buses! The worst part is that straws are too small and light to be recycled which means 100% will end up in a landfill or the ocean.

When the straws make it to the ocean the salt water and sun help to break them into smaller pieces which will absorb toxins. Eventually, some type of fish or bird will eat the pieces. When animals ingest plastic they absorb the toxins trapped within them, feel full when they’re not, and eventually die of starvation. If they don’t die and are instead caught for human consumption, of course, we end up eating the plastic and toxins which are poisonous. Chemicals in plastic have been linked to cancer, infertility, hormone disruption and more.

Basically straws are bad and most of the time totally unnecessary. So, Bacardi and The Lonely Whale have joined forces to eliminate 1 billion plastic straws by 2020. In addition, Bacardi announced a commitment to review its global supply chain, with the aim of removing non-essential, non-recyclable single-use plastic waste. (Hopefully, the cups are next!)

This is huge and something you know I have been working toward for months! So please, take the pledge to refuse single-use plastic straws here!
