we are considering the mgm skyline terrace suite for hosting a "party" after our dinner. I am expecting 60-75 people to rsvp and likely many of these will join us in our suite after for a few drinks before going out somewhere. will this suite accommodate this? any other recommendations?
hey! We've been searching for the right venue and reception area for awhile. We're currently on the platinum hotel at the misora area. But we were still looking for that cosmopolitan view. We looked at the wedding suite before for the ceremony and reception but it wasn't our favorite for the ceremony (reception would be awesome there!). Anyone ever look into the other areas for the ceremony such as the Point Loma room or the boulevard pool terrace? lemme know!!! Thank you!!
I’ve been scouring posts for some time and collecting info so thanks to everyone who has shared their plans and experiences! We are getting married in the Flamingo garden on March 30th 2018 and plan on doing and in suite reception in one of the wraparound terrace suites at the Cosmopolitan afterwards. We will have about 30-35 guests all coming from Ontario, Canada. Looking for any experiences and advice any of you have had with either of these locations. How many guests did you have in the suite? Did you have outside catering? Any issues getting guests to the room? Decor ideas? Did anyone add another room onto the suite to have more space? DOES ANYBODY HAVE PHOTOS?! That’s been the hardest to find. Any input is greatly appreciated! Cheers
Im coming from the UK to get married in september 2018 and I’m wondering if anyone knows if the hotel prices will come down at all as they are very expensive for the week we are going (24 sept - 1 Oct)? Or if there would be any deals at a certain time of the year? I have been to Vegas last 2 years and the room prices have doubled for the same week for 2018. any help would be appreciated. thanks Laura
We are getting married In April 2018 at the Flamingo and are considering holding an optional meet and greet/welcome party the night before our wedding in lieu of a rehearsal dinner or bachelor and bachelorette parties.
We will have approximately 20 guests and figure this is a way we get a chance to see most people without having to organize a bunch of events during our time in Vegas or have people feel obligated to spend their entire vacation with us.
We were thinking of renting a few lanes at the bowling alley at the Linq or going to a bar for happy hour. We want to keep it low-keyed and casual and our budget for this is small. What ideas do you have for a budget friendly meet and greet/welcome party?
Hello, has anyone had an insuite reception recently at Mandalay or plans to have one in early 2018? I see now they have implemented security at the elevators at all times, so I am a little concerned they are not going to let my guests up for my reception. Just wondering if anyone has feedback on it. Thanks!
I am planning a Spring 2018 wedding and am seeking restaurant recommendations for a Sunday evening dinner reception for 14 adults (including bride/groom). The ceremony will take place at the Valley of Fire (north of Las Vegas) and we'll be staying at the Vdara. We are open to locations anywhere in between the ceremony/hotel and throughout the Strip.
I don't want to do Maggiano's, but am interested in Mon Ami Gabi. I'd like recommendations for other places priced around the same as Mon Ami Gabi ($65/plate, before alcohol).
I'd also appreciate any advice on how to navigate drinks. Only 11 people (of the 14) will be drinking, at an approximate rate of 3-4 drinks per person over 3 hours. What is the best strategy: open bar or pay per drink? Thanks, in advance!
