Hello everybody! And thanks for checking us! We are Dark Noise Club. A new trip-hop, trip-pop style music band made by two members: J I L L I A M and me Michan. Some months ago we met through Songstuff, and we soon got on well and started making music together. Our styles and ways of working melted great, and we started to get original songs that we both liked a lot, so we decided to stablish a band. J I L L I A M is the composer, and his dark industrial style sets the basis and spirit of the band, and the vibe of the songs. His greatest influences are Nine Inch Nails and Crystal Castles. He works mainly over FL Studio, where he keeps continuously experimenting and learning new tricks to make Dark Noise Club sound so unique! And I am the vocalist, and main lyricist of the band, even if sometimes I co-write the lyrics with J I L L I A M, for even stronger style melting. My influences, contrasting J I L L I A M’s, are mainly pop-rock and pop-punk bands such as Muse, Green Day or Fun. Our great difference in background and taste gives Dark Noise Club an style and sound that, in our opinion, is different and really special. So, we are really looking forward keep doing stuff together and sharing it with you all... and see till where can we go! We have just started this amazing journey of music making, and we are very happy to count with your presence here and your support! If you want to accompany us in this trip, join us in: Twitter Soundcloud Wordpress

This is (the lyrics for) a song I wrote in 2005. At the time I wanted to write a collection of songs that were different to my ususal "sad" ones. I wanted to do something a little darker and cover some subjects that were out of my comfort zone. The result was a collection of songs about death, religion, incest, rape, murder, bullying, suicide and other such darknesses. This one covers bullying and suicide (so if you don't think you can handle this, look away now). It does have a tune (in my head) and you'll notice the chorus is different each time (apart from the last line). I don't usually go for "simple". The last chorus slows right down, which allows the longer last line, but also allowed me to use in-line rhyming (hence the "/" where it pauses a fraction). Just for clarity, the rhyming structure for all ther verses are A B C A B C, with the chorus being A A B B. Feel free to critique and/or offer any suggestions. I'm particularly interesting to see if anyone can improve the last couple of lines. I'm not over-happy with "are never to cry". I'd prefer to use "will never cry" but that doesn't sound that good in my head - it needs the five sylables. YOUR EMERALD EYES (CRY THE LONELIEST TEARS) VERSE I see a shadow cross your face And for a moment You look around with frightened eyes Each time you think you have escaped The past is over But you can never let it lie CHORUS And as for stolen childhood dreams A future never meant to be If you could start anew you'd stifle all your fears Your emerald eyes cry the loneliest tears VERSE You ask yourself time and again When was that moment When they set you in their sights? And will this nightmare never end? You search for omens That are silent in the night CHORUS You live the future and the past Because the present doesn't last You stand Canute-like as the tide is drawing near Your emerald eyes cry the loneliest tears VERSE You close your eyes and say a prayer That for a moment You can be free from all their hate It's hard to fight against despair When there is no one Who can help you to feel safe CHORUS You curse the day that you were born And wish damnation on them all Is it too much to ask they simply disappear? Your emerald eyes cry the loneliest tears BRIDGE A candle lit upon an alter and a prayer Cannot dry your bloodshot eyes How can such pain arise from nothing but their words? Words that could cut you like a knife VERSE You seek an answer to it all And for a moment You almost have it in your grasp You let it slip away once more The moment's over It is buried in the past CHORUS You wonder how you can go on When there is nothing to be done And in the mirror is a girl from yesteryear Your emerald eyes cry the loneliest tears! CHORUS You put the thought out of your mind That there are ties still left that bind You close your eyes / and cut the ties / and slay the fear Your emerald eyes / are never to cry / another single tear...
