A few days ago my family and I headed out deep into the forest in search for “Three Pools”. Three pools is a location in Marion, Oregon which features clear water pools that form in a creek. I can agree that we got lost and the drive was long but it was worth it because the setting was beautiful. The water was very cold but at least the sun shinned bright. These are just a few images of our fun adventure.
I’m so happy that the sun is finally shining, I’ve been going crazy over new spring and summer pieces. I also noticed my wardrobe has a lot of basic pieces, so now I’m trying to look for more “fun” clothes. I don’t why but I’ve really been in a stripe mood lately. But not just any stripes, I’ve been liking these multicolored and triple stripe patterns. I got this skirt at Forever 21. I knew I needed it because it’s so versatile. I can definitely wear it throughout this season with so many pieces. Today I just wore a nude shirt and some sandals. I love this high-low wrap around skirt, because it’s like a midi skirt and a maxi skirt. Although I think it fits me like a maxi skirt because I’m shorter. I’m certainly excited to wear this skirt to the beach over my swimsuit with a sun hat!
I’m currently writing this post, where I should really be studying for my AP exam. So I’m going to get back to studying now! I hope you all have a wonderful and happy day! Stop and enjoy the sunshine while you’re at it!
When I went to LA, I knew I absolutely had to make a stop at the #paulsmith pink wall! It was my last day in LA right after the last day of Kode with Klossy. This outfit brings back so many memories. I found it funny how my outfit, was a spin on a classic work shirt. Everyday I used to walk into the gas company tower, and everyone would be all dressed up in appropriate outfit wear. I paired my shiny metallic oxfords and a shiny statement necklace to with this striped button up dress I got from Zara. Even though the sun was blinding me in these photos, I really wanted pics! It was so hot this day, that by the end of the day I put my hair in a high ponytail from what used to be a halfsie. And I recently found out that after I left LA, Karlie came back and took a photo at this wall! She posted a photo on Instagram!!
Hi! I hope everyone is having a great summer! Sunday consisted of enjoying what San Francisco has to offer. My family and I headed off towards the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. We drove up to a viewpoint where we could see the bridge and the ocean, it was quite the view. Picking outfits to explore SF is sometimes hard for me. I’m always worried that it’s going to be cold, and I didn’t wear enough layers, or it’s going to be hot and..
I was so happy to have gotten this dress right on time from the Zara sale for the 4th of July! I thought this dress would be great for the occasion! This year I spent my 4th at a barbecue with my family. It was so comfortable the whole time, but I still felt dressed up the holiday! I love this gingham print! At first I thought it would be too bold for me to pull off, but by keeping my outfit simple the print worked as a solid. My favorite detail about this dress was the front tie knot that sat on my hip. The knot gave the dress a shape and it also makes the pattern go in different directions which I think gives the eye more to stare at. To keep to this simple look, I put my hair in loose waves.
I recently got this dress from a place called Isossy Children. They sell a range of kids clothing that features African and Asian textiles. This dress is from the 2015 Angel Collection. You can find it here! To me, this dress screams texture and structure. The pink sequins glimmer in the light and the beautiful draping of the satin falls effortlessly. My favorite feature of the dress would have to be the chiffon details on the sleeve. I chose not to add more to this look because this dress is very pretty on its own, and sometimes less is more. This has to be one of my favorite dresses I’ve got to work with because it’s so playful.

School is just around the corner. There’s nothing better than spending some great quality time with my cousins. We went to the Rose Garden, which was gorgeous, and then we made a quick stop at Salt and Straw. We really couldn’t resist ice cream on this hot day.
I recently got this boho, lace insert long sleeve shirt from P.S from Aeropostale. I love this boho top, it’s very versatile. I found that this top is perfect for now and perfect for later! This piece could work to be very summery, pair it with shorts and/or sandals. This piece could also work great for school and fall, pair it with jeans and/or booties. For this look I paired this top with a pair of skinny jeans and espadrille sandals that has stripe details across the strap. I left my hair in loose waves, but by the afternoon, the heat forced me to tie my hair in a high pony. Flowers, sunshine, ice cream, and more… what perfect way to end the day.
